Alright, yes, I'm planning on putting custom portraits in a module I'm working on (I'll probably use regular ones when I release it though).

Does anyone know any relatively painless way to get the portraits to NPCs in the game? I'm not talking about ripping out and editing the portraits.2da file, but having them in a hakpak is fine.

The thing is, I have over 200 portraits perfectly sized for NWN and ready to go sitting on my hard drive, but none have the po_ extension, and renaming all of them would clearly be a pain.

Any suggestions?

There are dozens of programs that can do batch renames... Windows Commander, an invaluable tool for me can do it, for example.

Thanks, that sounds like the sort of thing I'm looking for. Where can I get Windows Commander and does it work with 98SE?

Sure, I'm using it in Windows 98. After you use that, you won't touch Exploder again.
