I was wondering about the toolset downloads... do the sets you install over-ride or replace the existing sets, or are they added as extra to what is provided in the original game?

Taluntain Fri, 13th Feb '04, 1:40pm What sets are you talking about? Morgoroth Fri, 13th Feb '04, 3:01pm I would assume he means hakpacks, and yes some of them do overwrite old tilesets or monsters but not all of them. DraconianScribe Sat, 14th Feb '04, 4:02am I'm not sure which ones I mean... I don't really know anything about them... lol Anything you could tell me would be great... :help: :bang: Taluntain Sat, 14th Feb '04, 11:32am There are many different things you could download for the game. Modules to play, placeables, items, NPCs, tilesets etc. to use in the game's toolset... You'll have to be a bit more specific. DraconianScribe Sat, 14th Feb '04, 5:16pm well I know what a module is for... I was mostly talking about Tilesets, but placeables and items are worth looking into also... Taluntain Sat, 14th Feb '04, 10:30pm The majority of the stuff mentioned is non-replacing. And when it does replace something, it should say so specifically. Pyro Sun, 15th Feb '04, 6:44pm While on the topic of addons, how do they work? If I send a mate my module, will he need to download the hakpaks seperatly or will they be automaticly included? Alavin Sun, 15th Feb '04, 7:22pm The mate would have to get the haks to use the module. Mark Nelson Wed, 25th Feb '04, 11:37pm Some people will include the hak pack in the same file as the module others will have it seperate. It seems to be about 50/50 on how they do it. :) |
