well i have desided to solo BG2 SoA or to have one more Npc with me well what do you recommend??? Oh and which NPC should i take with me?

Well, first off, if you're taking an NPC along, it's not really a solo - more like a duet. Doing so would make a huge difference in recomendations. If you are truely going solo, I'd recomend a character with some type of Thief component. Fighter/Thief or Mage/Thief multi-class are both pretty easy to manage. Dual-classing from Thief to either Mage or Fighter can work too, though you may need to time it right so you have the Thief skills back when you need them.
If you do take an NPC, then choose your class to compliment their abilities.

Without exception any class can solo the game as long as it is not modded. Thief skills can come in handy, and will get you a lot of XP, but are not necessary.

Pick your favorite class and run with it.

I'd recommend a Sorcerer!! :D

They're incredible fun. As a matter of fact, I started yet another Sorc solo today...but that's just to help with play-testing for my FAQ (a WIP as of now) so I dunno if that counts...but yeah, play a Sorcerer!! :D

How about an assasain as the pc and Tashia (from the Tashia npc mod) to go along. Together they would be very powerful.

IMO it depends on how much experience with BG2 you have. If you have limited experience a Fighter/Thief is good. Fighter/Thief/Mage is also good.
If you have more experience I think you can skip the Thief part and go with either Fighter/Mage (or a dual class Kensai/Mage), Ranger/Cleric or Sorcerer (my favorite).

Start off as a Kensai and take Imoen along. Dual to thief at L9.
Pick up Keldron till you get you kensai skills back.
Replace him with Aerie if you want some headache. Or Solo the rest of the game.
