is it possible to get my own sounds in my modules without having to use hakpaks. i dont want any unnecicery hakpaks in my moduls
Plz if any one have any ideas art all plz post here

If you're planning to distribute the modules with the sounds, then haks are necessary really. Otherwise people will have to download a load of .wav files instead, and put them in their override folder. It's far simpler to use a hak - people will have to download the sounds either way, anyway.

I would add, though, that if you would rather have sounds included in an override (opposed to a hak), people would have the option of *not* downloading them, and still being able to play the mod.

If they're included in a hak, it (the hak) must be downloaded, or your mod won't load.

Thanks alot for the quick replies,
So if i wanna add a new .wav without the use of Hakpaks how do i do it.
My mod will have a homepage where they can download the sounds if they want to.
but how do i add them to my mod i cant find anything.
plz help me again :)

It depends what you want them for. I've not used custom sounds much, but if it's for conversations, there's a drop-down list under "Other Actions" I think it is (sorry, I'm at another computer so I can't check). Just select the sound from that list. Or if you're trying to call it from a script, there are commands such as PlaySound and PlaySoundByStrRef which are useful. The sound objects which you place can be made via a wizard, which is a similar process to the conversation one. In each case the sounds must be in your override directory.
