One thing I found nifty about NWN was the "package" thing. It makes all of the ability, skill, and feat choices automatically. But then I realized that the skill and feat choices are ridiculous.
I was wondering if anyone knew how to edit or create new packages. I've located some of the .2da files, but I haven't a clue of what some of the values actually mean.
The main package .2da is 'packages.2da', if anyone was wondering.

If you're looking for custom classes/skills/feats etc check out PRC (Player Resource Consortium) (http://nwnprc.netgamers.co.uk/index.html). They've got quite a large range of good quality stuff (so I've been told - never used them myself).
As for making classes and such yourself, I honestly have no idea, sorry. I would suggest searching the Vault for any .2da editing tutorials - there are bound to be some.

To clear some things up, I'm not interested in creating a new class or custom feats. I find that way too easy for me to abuse. The 'packages' that I am referring to just configure the skills and feats for a class.
For example, fighters have six packages to choose from: Finesse, Commander, Gladiator, Pirate, Default Fighter, and Weapon Master (katana).
What I am really trying to do is make a 'weapon master' package with a different weapon of choice. The main purpose is so I can just click 'recommended' and not be disappointed with the chosen feats and skill point allocations.

Oh, I understand you now. SOrry, must not have read your first post properly. I really have no idea - I haven't heard of anyone making new packages before. To be honest, I don't really think it's worth the effort; probably easier assigning the skill points and everything each time instead of making the package.
Unless anyone else here knows, I'd suggest heading across the Bioware's offical NWN forum and asking there. I'm sure someone is bound to know.

I guess laziness when leveling up isn't an option if I want the skills and feats of my choice. Oh well. Thanks, man.
