apart from you, who are the top 20 people with the most posts? i know that with the avaters it would be really easy to make a quick glance, but the thing is is that i dont meet everyone here and there are probably over 1000 people i have not met at this site...so who are the top 20 most posters (apart from you 2), how many posts and where they usually hang out?

Hard to say, since I have no way to sort them by the number of posts. Not to mention that many registered members are unactive. But apart from me, Blackthrone, Sylvus (he's third by the number of posts), there's you, Shura...
I don't know, someone should make a list. :p

Wasn't there some sort of kobold star in BG I?? I think it was hanging around with a tasloi and a xvart, i remember getting some autograph.

There were three of them just hanging around and callimg themselves brothers I think. 'If memory serves' they were to be found in the bottom right of one of the maps near the mad cleric bloke who had all those zombies. But it was a long time ago that I played.

I met them...if you killed them you gained normal...but if you dont...you get their autograph...is there any use for it?

Post counts here aren't very high at all. Goto Sharkyforums.com or Anandtech.com and check those forums out. You will see people with post counts well over 2k.

Sharky's has only been active for 7 months or so and we have one member over 5k, the great and venerable Sapasion.

I myself have close to 2k.

I'd like to say 'Get a life' but really, I'm just jealous! In fact, I'm only writing this one to Crawl (no pun intended) slowly forward :)

Yeah I know the feeling BigB. I'll break my record from last year and be away for a whopping four months soon (back in september) exams vacation, travelling etc. No summer should be spent by the computer :p . But as Arnold Schwarzenegger's says. I'll be back.

Ive been here ages, longer than some of the venerables in fact. But...there was a period between summer and winter '01 when I never visited SP, and then I returned around November and started again. Alas, the damage was done, and I'm still not 400. :(

EDIT: Wow! Thinking about it has brought back some memories. I remember biggreenpriest, and when everyone was still hyped up about SOA, and when Syl was still rampant, and when Nobleman was a skeleton!! LOL!! Those were the days!

Over at Anandtech's forums, which has 90,000 members, there are people with over 20,000 posts. And I thought I had no life.

Heh, as if I would change the whole message board for something as irrelevant as that. Not to mention that you have a top 25 posters list here too (go read the previous page). And changing would mean losing all of the posts on this one too.

With all the extra stuff I've installed on this one there's hardly any need to change to another.

I never understand why such a toplist is so important... It says nothing.... I posted here almost 2800 posts but have said less interesting things then many people that only posted 500 times here :D

I think that the list is only another thing that gives those people more power to fuel their postings. And makes the under dogs get mad and want to beat them. Seems weird.

Headbanger is right on the money. Who cares about the number of posts you have. I rather have a lot less spam and fewer posts any day. Then at least I know that I'm not going to waste my time reading junk. Remember the stupid 'Random topic' spam fest that crashed the boards a while back. It's still like that which drives up peoples post count but doesn't ADD anything of value to the boards. Are we not here to help each other out, have an intellegent comversation and share in a way that is enjoyable for everyone? I think we do this rather well. And we are better off with 3,000 or even 300 users that add value to SP. Who needs 90,000 user if you only get trash out at the end of the day.

I guess you should have at least about 800 posts to make it in the top 25. The last the I saw the list, number 25 had about 800 posts. So, just about one hundred posts for me to go and I will officialy be a spammer.
