View Full Version : Bioware recognitions...but what about Tal?

Bioware has started the 100 Nights of Neverwinter recognition series for all the people who have put hard work into being community leaders for the NWN community as of today. I think this is a great idea, as it does reward the people who've put in alot of work doing things for the game. My question is...has Bioware recognized all the hard work Taluntain has put in in the past and continues to put in today, and, if not, lets hope they do so now. Tal has run one of the single best community sites for the BG and IWD series of games, and he's gone a long way towards making Sorcerer's likely the best place for NWN news, not to mention a great place for downloads of all kinds for the toolset. Tal's probably put in more free time than anyone for Bioware over the years, so here's hope they recognize all that he's done for their company.

Heh, suck up to Tal why don't you :p
Tell them that, head off to their website and go "Goddammit, give Tal an award!"

Seriously, GO TAL!

Nah, I doubt it. They're specifically looking only for people who've devoted their sites entirely to NWN and nothing else. Just my luck I'm covering all BioWare and BIS games from Baldur's Gate forward.

Well, that's even more!
Not only NWN, but the whole lot!!
You tell me that isn't worth recognition, Tal??
Tss..

I think he was referring to Bioware most likely not thinking it is. Could be cool though

Well Tal with the amount of effort you have put in this site, i wonder why they have not given you an award, or even better yet a job.

Taluntain? Job? If YOU were selflessly immortal, would you have a JOB?

Ah seeing as we're all Tal praising in this thread... For any of you who don't read the front page, Tal's just bought a dedicated server for SP so all cash is gone. Donate, donate, donate!

Taluntain? Job? If YOU were selflessly immortal, would you have a JOB? Because he still needs to pay for the server and IC to keep SP online, duh
;)

I was reading that 100 day award and I say a glimmer of hope "be it as a conduit to the fan community" so maybe Tal still has a chance

It's tough to be a conduit when some people are so damn sheisty...

Probably neither here nor Ironworks is thought of by Bioware.
In their minds, it seems they should run a forum for their games; and anyone else who does is just robbing them of traffic.

Ironworks, heh, that's a good one. The site that makes its "own" content by stealing it from sites like SP, DBF, The Pit etc. Don't mention them here again. :toofar:

Ironworks is a swear word around here. I should put it on the censor list.

You´re never going to forgive them for that, eh Tal??

Hmm, maybe we could destroy their server with a cool virus I have on floppy here.

A= Me B= I*******S guy

A = So how many data you got on that server?
B = A few walkthroughs, all stolen ofcourse, heh
A = Would be shame if something happened to that, eh. Uhm, anything else valuable?
B = Yeah, a good running forum, best on the web
A = Would be a darn shame if something to that too.
B = And ofcourse our server which is worth, like a few hundred euros
A = Would be a shame if a lethal virus destroyed your BIOS, FATpartition, OS and the rest of the valuable data, eh.
B = You extorting me??
A = Depends, how much are you willing to pay for protection of that pretty server of yours??

No, I'm not. Some things like stealing content are a cardinal sin in the online world.

At the advice of a friend, I`ve cleared what I said here. Pay absolutely no attention to this post.

:offtopic:

Stop talking about that CURSED site ... remember the focus of this thread ... KISSING TAL's lilly white butt.

Tal, I can honestly say that this is the best site I've had the priviledge to log onto. Your content is top quality, your community is fun, and your server r00x ;)

Just think ... I was drawn here by Shadow Keeper...but it was you that won my heart

:good:

Sorry - had to see what was on the site - not impressive. Did not mean to p*** you off :o
