I have "notify by mail that you have PM" selected on "YES". But I'm not receiving mails when I receive a PM.
I thought this was only the case when SP was unreachable for a few days, but...

Is this feature removed or perhaps generally disabled?

Uh, no... it should be functioning normally... Does your mail alias work properly?

It works and it's properly typed inside my profile (checked it!).

Tal, not to be rude or anything but Myth-Drannon and samixboards both have a system where once you enter a little window opens saying that you have been pm'd and it askes you if you want to open a window where the pm's are.
Why dont you trie that.
(Note: ask kiwidoc from Myth-Drannon or samix from samixzone where they got it from if you want it.)

I tried hacking it in, but none of the hacks worked. And this is on the list of features for future versions of UBB, so I'll just wait for that. Hopefully soon. :rolleyes:

Padeen- Myth Drannor works on IkonBoard forum software, SP works on UBB.
iB lets you do all sorts of things that Infopop hasn`t put into UBB yet; so the only conceivable way for Tal to put it in would be to change software...

With that, two problems spring immediately to mind. The first is that it is a fairly major change to make, everyone would have to re-register, all of the posts would be lost, etc. The second is that the way iB is setup, either all members can have custom avatars, or none can- and you can`t just set it so that only admins can change the avatars.

Although yes, it would be a useful thing to have, Tal can`t conceivably change that and leave the rest of SP as the same great place :(

I'm not sure if this is related or not, but on my PM window, sometimes it reads that I have a message waiting "Incoming Messages: 1", yet I have nothing on the message list. Also, I got an e-mail for a message I never recieved.

Extremist's problem has been fixed... I can't help you with any other problems/bugs if you tell me about them weeks after they occur. They could have been fixed one way or another since then, or buried so deep I couldn't find the cause any more. The key is always the same... If you notice anything that doesn't work right, let me know right away. This is the only way I can do anything about it.
