Tal, how many people sign up for SP, make one post, and then leave? I would guess that that number would be in the thousands. I think we should have one sign in name, for people who want only one question. Who agrees?

A spam name which is bound to get out of hand?

Hmm...that's a good idea! Or you could give them like; a 30day Trial Period! ;)

I think, when i see the 'Board's Of Magick has 4000 Registred Users!' message, that actually only 500 or less are actually posting more than 10 times.

Reepnorp, good idea.

There are probably more who registered but never posted. I could clear out all the inactive member records, but it really wouldn't make any difference in board performance, so they might as well stay there.

Anyway, the next version of UBB which should be out by the end of the year will have a list of all members, so you'll be able to satisfy your curiosity and browse through all 4000+ members. ;)

HOw many of us actually post on the boards? Or have made a post?

I'd say there are up to 250 active to semi-active posters at any time. But there's really no easy way to tell. As for how many have posted... no idea. Can't tell until we get the members list.

Any serious SP'er will spend hours and hours studying that list. I know I will print it out and study it when I go sit on my "throne". ;)
