I saved the de'Arnise keep and all I got was a lousy 650 gold. What's up with that? Where's the other 10,000?

Have you been at the small fortificated thing in the left corner of the map? You will meet Nalia there and after a conversation she should give you the 10.000 gold (I guess you didn´t have her in your party)

Yeah, that's where she gave me the 650 gold.

Strange ... then I cant understand why ... maybe a bug? I, with or without her in my party, never had this problem.

Methinks she just fooled you, as she did in the first place by not telling what was the plague of her keep. I never ever got 10k from her, except the case when i kept her in party after the keep and my char was a fighter (not sure on this one though), so 'tis not a bug, IMO

ps. What ye find in the keep should compensate for the 10k, indeed

yeah, on my most recent run through I only got 650, and I was like, "What the @$@% #@%$#$^ $#%#$^#$ is #$%#$^ going on?!!?" then I realized; you rescued Nalia's aunt. When I talked to the aunt before I talked to Nalia, she told me she wouldn't reward me, because I had undoubtedly taken items from the keep. But I hadn't taken 10k gold worth of items

So what are we supposed to do? Kill auntie to get our money?

It is a possible glitch. Indeed you get 10k only if she is in the party when you finally find her father. In fact you get 10650 cp. Forget that narcissistic auntie!

If Nalia wasn't in the party and you have to tell her what happened to her father, you get only 650.

So, get her in the party!

Well a very weird thing happened to me. This is the first time I'm playing through the game mind you. When i went to free her castle, i met her at the fort and she wanted to join up. I agreed, but when the screen appeared to choose a person to kick out, i changed my mind and kicked her out. She said she would meet me at the Copper Coronet. After i cleaned out the place i went to the fort and she wasnt there. I went to the Copper Coronet where she was staying and agreed to let her join. She started saying some out of place stuff, the stuff she would say if she was in my party during the quest. I still didnt get any money or exp so i went back to her Castle. The second i got there i got all the money 10000+ and my exp.
