If you had a complete party of your own what would it consist of?

I played around a little the other night and made up party that consisted of:

Cleric - Human
Mage - Half Elf
Thief - Half Elf
Cavalier - Human
Kensai - Elf
Beserker - Half Orc

Now that I think of it I should have made a Kensai/Mage and I was wondering, would a Monk fit into this group? Who would I replace if added a Monk?

You know, you can actually play with a group of your own making. You don't have to just dream about it. I'm currently running two groups that way, in addition to my main game with my single protagonist. Just initiate a Multiplayer Game, choose as your connection as "serial," and then you will be prompted to either create or import six characters for the game. Just be sure to put all six characters under your control (there are settings options on the create-your-characters screen), select them all with the checkmarks, and then play! I always leave one slot free (only creating five characters) so that I can have a single NPC join at a time to further certain quests.

My two parties are:

He Who Seeks Truth (Male Human Monk 18/18/18/10/16/9)
Gorgana (Female Half-Orc Barbarian 19/18/19/10/10/11)
Drake (Male Half-Elf Ranger/Cleric 18-69/18/18/10/14/9)
Six (Male Half-Elf Jester 17/18/16/15/10/15)
Silir (Female Elf Sorceress 11/19/16/18/10/9)

and

Jezel (Female Human Kensai to dual to Mage next level 18-99/18/10/17/12/9)
Anjelis (Male Human Cavalier 18-52/18/18/8/13/17)
Andromeda (Female Elf Archer 18-69/19/17/10/17/17)
Shadowfoot (Male Gnome Swashbuckler 18/18/16/10/10/13)
Eve (Female Half-Elf Avenger 14/18/16/8/18/15)

Yeah, I know. When I said I "made up" a party, it wasn't in my head! It was in the game! I was just curious what other people did with their all PC parties. Now that you mention it, leaving a slot open for NPC's sounds like a good idea.....hmmmm...

If you do it like that, who is the lead character?

The lead character is whoever you put in the first slot.

Whoever you designate, which is generally the first character in the party that you import or create on the create-your-party screen. You have to decide who you want to lead the group at the outset. If you want a familiar, for example, your wizard or sorcerer has to be the protagonist. If you want the Fighter stronghold quest, pick a Fighter or Monk. Etc.

Its easy to remember names like that :P

My ideal party for high experience level games(with Kits):

Kensai D mage

Berzerker

Ranger

Fighter D Druid(or Cleric)

Mage/Cleric

Thief D Mage

I'm playing with that as my good aligned party currently(except with a multi fighter/druid) and it is a really well rounded combo. Almost everyone has multiple uses(except the fighter), and it saves me from having a straight thief, cleric, or mage.

I'm running a game with 2 characters of my own making:

Pregnant Chad: Kensai lv.9/Mage lv.14

Dimpled Chad: Barbarian lv.14

The stats should be pretty accurate, but just in case, I'll run another recount and make sure they're correct.
