Polls are a great way to start discussions and keep interest up in older games. Most polls I’ve seen get a fairly high number of responses, which is pretty good evidence of their popularity.

I hate polls.
All politicians are equally greedy, corrupt and senile.
 OH!!

Polls have their uses, but often kill discussion because people simply vote instead of post.

Okay, come on really....this is a really silly poll because of course the people who like polls are the ones that are mostly going to be participating in the poll and a lot of the people who don't like polls are of course not going to even bother doing it because they don't like polls. So therefor it is not a true evaluation of a cross section of the population that posts on these sites! :nolike:

Polls are pretty cool, and they don't always kill discussions, if they did why would there be so many responses posted after?

This isn't exactly what I would call a great discussion...

Your point would probably have come across better if you took some effort with spelling and grammar, and asked people to actually WRITE yes/no, not vote on it in a poll. :shake:
