Assuming your using a 6 person party, what charactors do you have in it (NPCs, i mean)
For me I go with:
1)Main char.
2)Korgan
3)Minsc
4)Anomen
5)Imoen
6)Aerie

I sometimes like to set up a couple of my chars along with the NPC's. So far, I like:

- illusionist/theif gnome ("Bean")
- a fighter/cleric dwarf ("The Black Dwarf")
- Minsc
- Jahiera

Or, - Avenger ("Olepi")
- Bean

I also like to play Bards, Skalds. I will swap out the NPC's as the game goes on, so there's no set group.

Me. Priest of helm.
Minsc. Good strong front line fighter.
Valygar. Excellent for backstabbing and dual wielding Celestial fury and Equalizer.
Jaheria. Another healer and summoner. (And occasional tank)
Imoen. The best "good" mage, and your sister.
Jan. Excellent thief and backup mage.
