Is there a place on the forums where I could learn about previous idiots of the week? Like nick & how the plaque was earned? What's the story behind the IOTW? Oh I'm dying from suspense!

And personally, I don't think an archive would serve any useful purpose. The recipients have already paid their dues, and they don't need a permanent record of it. If they continue to behave in a manner to deserve the plaque, they'll probably just be banned.

And believe me, sometimes I wish he was, because there's at least one regular (not you) that neither of us likes who he would certainly have banned if he did just summarily punish people he didn't like. In fact, even you should know better than that; as I understand it, Tal sends a PM explaining why whenever he inflicts a plaque.

This reminds me a bit of a TNG episode where Alexander, Worf's son, said to his father, "The teacher hates me!" When in reality she was simply pointing out when he did bad things, like stealing a toy that was for all the children, and then lying about it. It was also an incredibly stupid lie because the toy was in his jacket and easily found. :rolleyes: Just how references to your many name changes, again now even after a warning from Tal, can be easily found on the Boards. If I had to guess why, I'd say that would be it.

This decision was even dumber than the one to change your PDN for the umpteenth time. As for the price tag that will be attached to this, well ... I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Silvershield will have his posting privileges removed for a week after this week of shame is over. And if that doesn't wisen him up either, it'll be a permanent ban. It'd certainly be the most ridiculously pointless permanent ban ever set on our boards, but if he keeps asking for it... *shrugs*
