I was wondering what everybodies favourite gem was. After some talk about it in random babble I thought it was worth investigating. Also should I create a poll for this topic?
Personally my favourite gem is the bloodstone. Don't know why but it looks so cool.

I was always partial to the Berjuril (sp?) gem. Don't know exactly why - but probably because it is hard to pronounce and spell.

Mine is the star dipsoid, because of its unique geometry.

I like the bloodstone. I've always felt that the real bloodstone has a lot of power in it.

Rogue Stone...its the best there is.

EDIT:Speaking of gems - woo hoo! I got my new gem! Which is pretty crappy, Jasper was nice. :(

I like King's Tears: very special form and colours...

Apart from that: what about a Pearly White Ioun Stone? I like the idea of wearing a gem on my head :D !

Actually, the Ioun stone floats around the head. But that is a matter for another time.

I personaly would vote for Star Diopside.

Yes, the best looking are the expensive ones.
My favourite, though, is the Lynx Eye gem. Don't know why. :D ;)

King's Tear here too. White/transparent crystal with gold-shape inside looks good (or at least the idea that is behind the game sounds good).

I kind of like the garnet gem, rogue stone might more beutyful but garnet is still my favorite.

King's Tear or Star Sapphire, both very cool looking.
Moonstone would be great too, if it looked anything like the real thing :cool:

Black Opal has a greenish hue with black mottling and gold flecks. Usually found in ancient hot springs, the gem is tumbled smooth and cut cabochon. The phrase in the north "Black as an opal" is used as a subtle form of praise for kind-hearted rogues and the like. As beautiful as can be :)

I like the diamond.

Rogue Stone. It just looks really cool.

Black Opal for me - but always aiming for the rogue stone. The coolness of a lesser gem means nothing in the face of a huge post count.

Hmm... good idea. I'd like a turnip shaped pebble. Or maybe a turnip flavoured one....
