What is it with this 404 c***? Every time I click an older link, I get to this page: Four-oh-Four (http://www.sorcerers.net/404.php) And it is making me very frustrated. Is there any reason for this, or are you just being mean, Tal?

This one for instance... Is there any chance this could be fixed, so that we could actually view these old topics?

Heh, that would be an ancient topic, since it doesn't look like the boards even use those folders anymore.

You sure that link is correct?

I think it's a custom error message. 404 stands for page not found

Where are these links? On SP, or elsewhere? Because the address for forum pages changed a while back when UBB was updated.

The link now for that thread, for example, would be http://www.sorcerers.net/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=3;t=000233 instead.

About 2 years ago when we upgraded the boards, all those old links became invalid. Some forums have kept the topic numbers the same, so you could try forum 3 with that topic number in the current url convention, but there's no guarantee you'll get to the same topic... (I just noticed Wildfire posted the url.)

And yes, the 404 page is a custom page instead of the regular "404 - page not found" one. It'll have a meaning in the new design when links on the site are changed.
