When I decide to become a new SPS member, may I choose a new avatar and custom line?

errr, Tal, those like me who don't have a credit card, how can contribute? I know a way here, is with the Postal Service and a Bank, the money is almost instant there but I have to send you a number so you can pick up. I don't know how else.

You can send it as cash, check or do a direct bank account transfer; check the bottom of the sign-up page for SPS accounts for info.

Oh, cheers.

So, how does one become an SPS Member? If it involves donated lots of money, then I apologise now...

What, specifically, does this mean: "Also, it goes without saying that all members of the SP Staff and anyone else who has performed services for the community, will be awarded with an SPS account for free."?

Does that mean that any current member with an avatar gets one of those nifty accounts?

Morsmordre, there's a FAQ page on the right of the page you were linked. It involves donating, yes, but a pretty standard donation sum, nothing outrageous.

Mystra's Chosen, no, I can only go back so far. All the people noted in the Member of the Week thread have been given SPS accounts for free now, but I don't keep records of what everyone else did here to get their avatar/portrait. The majority sent in some sort of content, or bought a book or two via SP, which wouldn't qualify for an SPS account anyway.
