I'm in Newfoundland, if that helps any and the posts are four hours ahead of me. In western Europe, I think, but not England. Just curious, please and thank you. :)

I think, Taluntain (the board administrator and creator) Is from Lithuania, but I could br wrong. So that make SP come from there I guess.

Anyway I'm from Montréal if you ever thought. That make me not so far way from you

Yes, the board time is always set to my time (I'm such an ego-maniac, I know), but chev also shares the timezone. ;)

Edit: Actually, you can set your own timezone in your board profile... Then all the posts will adjust for your local time.

I do that but don't change when we go Standard or daylight savings time. Half the year I'm an hour off.

I saw that about changing the times and thought about it, Talutain, but it's more fun to read the posts, thinking, "OMG! They've gotten the jump on me! Ack!" :)

I share the server time too, and this is the only forum so far that I haven't have to change my settings.

I never even look at the posting times, but I share the same time zone as well IIRC.

What i find fun are the posts from people in New Zealand or Australia. Since it is tomarrow there what is the time difference?

It always seems to be tomorrow here. It's 8:30am on Friday here but many of you are still on Thursday.

So that makes a 16 hour difference from New Jersey, USA to New Zealand. That means that for 8 hours we actually share the same day. :spin:

:hippy: (Just had to add that)

You have me topped. HB is 19 hours ahead of me, meaning we only share the day for 5 hours. Not nearly enough time.

It's like travelling through time. :borg:

I'm confused. Jaguar, you live closer to Australia. Shouldn't your time difference be less or does it work in the opposite direction?

Isn't Canada closer to you, Nakia?

I think I'm four hours after HB but I'm not sure if New Zealand is using DST.

I'm about a 5 or 6 hr trip from eastern Canada but BC is on the otherside of the continent.

Think...think. Hum, if it is 3AM in NJ it is 12 midnight in BC. Am I right? In New Zealand it would be 1900 hrs or 7PM. Aha, Jaguar is 19 hrs different. But for some reason my mind does not want to accept this. Oh well, we all on the same time here...GMT.
