If one would want to post an art topic, or share some fan-art with the community, where should this go? Creativity Surge? Whatnots? I just think there ought to be a place somewhat dedicated to fan-arts or arts in general. :)

Good question... it doesn't come up often around here as you can see by the lack of any forum where art would specifically be listed as a possible discussion theme. But The Sensorium would be best.

CS is really exclusively for written material, and Whatnots is... whatnots. Art belongs to a more refined forum, so - The Sensorium.

It might depend on what kind of art you want to discuss, though... if it's game art, it might be more fitting in the forum of the game it's from.
