View Full Version : Your Top 10 Favourite Posters...
Barmy Army Mon, 12th Sep '05, 10:45pm Let's do this again, shall we?
Just name your top 10 favourite posters and give reasons to explain why you have picked them. Great fun.
I'll have over the torch to you guys to start with... :thumb: .
kuemper Mon, 12th Sep '05, 10:53pm Arabwel - silliness
Felinoid - he's my friend!
Harbourboy - he's the straight man
chevalier - reminds me of my hubby ;)
Taluntain - duh!
ofelix - a pretty, talking gem and an interesting Franc-side of Canada
silverstar - he's there to help with the hard, WeiDu fights
Nakia - an adult I can relate to
Kitrax - love his smilie :rolling:
kuemper - I'd be an idiot if I didn't vote for myself  ;)
These were in no particular order, just when I thought of them. Tal is number one, of course!
EDIT: A brown noser who can't count! I added someone.
Barmy Army Mon, 12th Sep '05, 10:54pm Brown noser!
Harbourboy Mon, 12th Sep '05, 11:01pm My wife would be very glad to hear that I am straight!
Barmy Army Mon, 12th Sep '05, 11:04pm You should be proving it to her each night (and the following morning come to that), she shouldn't need to hear it sonny Jim  .
Nakia Tue, 13th Sep '05, 12:03am I doubt I could pick just ten even keeping it to only current posters.
1) RallyMama: Board Mother and my soul sister
2) Harbourboy: The personification of common sense (except when it comes to statistics.) :p
3) Splunge: My 'little' brother
4) Arabwel: She types worse than I do and knows funny jokes.
5) Kitrax: Knows how to tell a good story
6) Gnarfflinger: Knows how to push my buttons
and I even agree with him sometimes.
7) Felinoid: Loves cats and has interesting RP characters
8) Elwithral Irenicus : My friend and fellow RPer
9) Scott: Great Game Master
10) kuemper: Knows more about game playing than I do.
11) Chevy: I don't always understand his posts and when I do (or think I do) I don't always agree but I find them interesting and stimulating.
And at least a dozen more that keep me coming here when I should be doing something else.
Edit: The list was in no particular order. All are my favorites each in their own way.
Elwithral Irenicus Tue, 13th Sep '05, 12:35am Im blushing! ;)
Felinoid Tue, 13th Sep '05, 2:36am In alphabetical order:
1) Arabwel: Gotta love the 'tude :p
2) Benan: Great RPer
3) chevalier: Wouldn't have said so a week ago, but after looking through some of his RBP posts and a little chat we had, I'd say he made the list. ;)
4) Gnarfflinger: My favorite debate opposition
5) Harbourboy: The perfect Abbot to my Costello ;)
6) Jaguar: Used to be the King Kitty-Kat :p
7) Kitrax: You should see him post in the Copper Coronet
8) kuemper: We're best buds!
9) Magpie: Took an immediate liking to the birdie when I saw him in the BG1 Quote Game
10) Nakia: I can't help but admire such an intelligent, reasonable woman; plus she's an excellent RPer
11) Neeraj the Freak Paladin: He's always got a problem I can solve, and the feeling of helping someone is always nice
12) olimikrig: Great party ideas. I may have to steal some...
13) Rallymama: While I can't pick out anything specific about Rally's posts, they've all got that warm, homey feeling.
14) Scot: Starter of the RP revolution! :thumb:
15) Takara: The most hilarious posts ever in CC history, though he does have an odd fascination with turnips
16) Taluntain: He may not have the most interesting posts as an admin., without him noone else would be able to post here either, so technically he's partially responsible for every post on this board.

Morgoroth Tue, 13th Sep '05, 2:45am I made a list but then delted it. I'd have to make my top 50 in no particular order in order to be satisfied with it. I have huge respect for every poster on these boards and it's impossible for me to start rating them. I especially respect all you posters on the alleys sharing your´views about various issues even if I don't allways agree with them. Anyway, you won't be seeing a list from me and you'll just have to live with it. :p
Harbourboy Tue, 13th Sep '05, 3:00am Yeah, I agree with Morgoroth. Too hard to list a top 10 because there are too many (and it changes from day to day, depending on who happens to be being an idiot at the time).
That notwithstanding, thanks anyway to those of you who listed me in their top 10!
Sarevok• Tue, 13th Sep '05, 3:54am I could give you my 10 least favourite, no? :)
Nakia Tue, 13th Sep '05, 5:26am Ayee! Morgoroth and Jaguar!
Morgoroth, the king of brains and Jaguar, the best trap demolisher in Faerun. Now that makes 13. Then there is ...are ... Oh forget it, Morgoroth's is correct. There are just too many.
And Felinoid now gets a double vote. How one can fool you on the Internet. :heh: Not many people consider me a reasonable, intelligent woman. Some may call me intelligent but few reasonable. Thank you muchly.
Felinoid Tue, 13th Sep '05, 6:17am Keep in mind, y'all, that I've only been on this here site for a single season. A fair number of you have been here for years, and have made all sorts of connections. Don't let the post count fool you; I'm still a nOOb.
@Nakia:
:o And thank you for the double vote. :hmm: Although me saying someone's reasonable is almost like Ara saying someone's kindly.
NonSequitur Tue, 13th Sep '05, 6:46am I don't know if I could list a top ten, although I can probably list a few people whose posts I usually enjoy, or who make me think. I'm just not here often enough, and spend nearly all my time in one of the Alleys, to have anything more than a horrendously skewed appreciation for the people here.
EDIT: Screw it, here's an arbitrary list, in no particular order. If you're not on it, so what - I'm just an Aussie jerk anyway.
Chevalier - we frequently don't agree, but I admire his adherence to his principles and his defences of them. A guy who can see past his own perspective, even if that doesn't mean wavering on his.
Darkwolf - again, someone I seldom see eye-to-eye with, but for whom I have the utmost respect. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's a person who rants without being able to back it up or prove a point. DW is no such person.
Chandos - articulate, critical, rational and never rabid even when he strongly disagrees with something; even having never met the guy, I really wish there were more people who shared those attributes.
Death Rabbit - again, articulate and never shies away from saying exactly where he stands and why; the guy cracks me up occasionally. I remember thinking he was a jackass after reading a post in the TOB forum - and man, was I wrong!
Harbourboy - yes, he's a New Zealander, and they're the natural enemies of Australians (just like Aussies and English, or Aussies and Tasmanians, or Aussies and other Aussies); HB can always be counted on to be funny, serious, or to inject a dose of realism when a thread needs it. If he'd played Crusader: No Remorse, I'd like him even more!
Barmy Army - the Ashes aside, always entertaining and willing to take the piss or point out the elephant in the room which everyone else is missing.
Aldeth The Foppish Idiot - the first person I can remember arguing with on this forum, undisputed poll king, and another person whose posts I always enjoy.
dmc - for much the same reasons as Chandos, IMO.
Bion - consistently funny, insightful and one of those rare folks who can take the piss and lambast at the same time without coming off as a prick. Must be a Pink Dragon thing...
Beren - if there is one, I guarantee he's the founder of the Jaheira Appreciation Society. Always funny (for the right and wrong reasons, of course!) and helpful when my BG2 goes ape-****.
Honourable mentions for Nakia, Felinoid (so what if you're new?), Spellbound and Rallymama.
EDIT #2: Oh, and ol' man Splunge too!
[ September 14, 2005, 08:11: Message edited by: NonSequitur ]
Death Rabbit Tue, 13th Sep '05, 6:58am Until I make somebody's list, you're all cockmunchers.
So there.
edit - That's better. :D
[ September 16, 2005, 18:08: Message edited by: Death Rabbit ]
kuemper Tue, 13th Sep '05, 8:25pm @DR - I like chicken. ;) :p
Barmy Army Tue, 13th Sep '05, 8:56pm Ok, I'm going to do mine then, seeing as most of you are being boring sods! :D
Harbourboy - I reckon this guy is the dogs bollocks. He's very grounded and realistic about things. But I mostly like him because he is so honest and genuine. I'd love to meet up when I get around to going NZ. In fact, Gaz my old bud, if I was a shirtlifter... .
Sarevok - He's straight John Bull all the time, no messing. Always says exactly what he thinks. I like that, and I'd like to think I'm like it to a degree as well. You know where you stand with people like that.
Uytuun - Uytuun is great I reckon. Really friendly, caring and thoughtful. Top lass.
Death Rabbit - Top Yank. I'd love to share a beer with him and chat about stuff. Women and sports mainly! I reckon I could convert you into a cricket fan before long!
Pac man - This guy really loves his football = instantly a top guy. He also seems like a really good guy. Love to share a beer and watch a match ;) .
chevalier - He's a good guy, his hearts in the right place. He could talk for England... or Poland, I should say, but he is a top guy I reckon. Waaay too intelligent for me  but is a good lad to have as a friend.
Viking - Should post more! Whenever he does, what he writes is well worth reading. Into his sports, so is in my good books already.
The Magpie - English. Big cricket fan. Likes his drink. He's like a carbon copy Barmy! This obviously makes him very, very cool. Seriously, he's a good lad.
Master of Nuhn - Seems honest and genuine. Those are two of the most important traits in a person, if you ask me. Seems really friendly and a nice lad to know.
Taluntain - Very fair, but very strict at the same time. He'd make a top class school headmaster if you ask me  .
I think that's 10 already, geez. There are more I'd like to add like Rallymama and NonSequitur and others. Sorry if you're not there, you probably just haven't complimented me enough  .
And what's this about elephants, NonSequitur?  .
The Magpie Tue, 13th Sep '05, 9:58pm Aww, thanks BA. You got me. :aww:
I'd sorta resisted playing favourites, but here goes (in no particular order): Nakia - made me welcome when I joined and posted for the very first time... in the AoDA of all places  chev - reasonable, honest, not afraid of expressing his opinions but treats those of others with due respect, even if he's not being shown such. A gentleman and a scholar. HB - The voice of reason. Nothing more to say that's not been said, really, except to salute the newbie thread, which was a great read. Really brought BG2 back to life. And Kiwis rule. You meet a lot of travellers from the southern hemisphere in London, and the NZers are the best of the lot, the friendliest folk in the capital. BA - the life and soul of the sports threads. Unafraid of speaking his mind, and sticks to his guns. Even after Bell went for a pair in the last test. (It's alright - he just needs another series to settle in!) Fel - entertaining, helpful, and dedicates time to SP in frightening amounts. A relative newbie (even relative to me!), but has contributed much in a short time - financially, too! Jaguar - easy going, jovial sense of humour. Shame he doesn't seem to post as much, or maybe I miss the old smily, bearded Jag avatar... kuemper - One of those "ray of sunshine" types, who always seems cheerful. A recent addition - like Fel - who's made a very positive impact. Ara - teh tyop qeeun! Off the wall & funny like woah :whoa: , she's made the RBPs her own. Uytuun - A good lass, she understands the occasional pains of being a student, and has been there to offer sympathy during my exams/coursework/results stressing periods of recent months. Tal - because without our great lizard overlord enforcing the standards on the boards, all these people may have been drowned out by spamming 1337-speakers. As it is, those undesirables are unheard of here.
Honourable Mentions:
Arifirh (the post-er formerly known as Rhetorical Question?) for Python-esque stylings, generally, and this (http://www.sorcerers.net/ubb/ultimatebb.php?/topic/22/636/8.html#000178) post in particular, which was a slice of comedy genius. Loves tea almost as much as I do. But not quite (obviously). :coffee2:
Seayer, for rarely posting, but donating more often than any other SPer. A legend.
Sarevok, for convincing everyone he wore a thong! (http://www.sorcerers.net/ubb/ultimatebb.php?/topic/22/678.html#000005)
That's all I can think of for now... Hope I didn't forget anyone... :hmm:
Felinoid Tue, 13th Sep '05, 10:21pm :aaa: Oh good glaven, I can't believe I forgot Magpie. Updating...
Harbourboy Tue, 13th Sep '05, 10:32pm I still refuse to do a top 10 because that just seems too arbitrary. All I will do is give a list of honourable mentions:
Taluntain - as Paul McCartney says of John, George, and Ringo, without him "we would not be here". Tal is a legend. Enough said.
Sorvo - will always be an SP hero for his presence in the FAI even though he hardly ever posts on the Boards.
chevalier - for always sticking to his principles and never feeling the need to compromise them for short term gains. Has some serious issues with coffee and sleep though. Looking forward to the day he gets married.
Barmy Army - was a complete knob when he was Morsmordre, but seems to have lightened up a bit since changing his name to match the rosy cheeked band of English cricket supporters. Doesn't understand a thing about cricket and rugby but top marks for at least trying.
Rallymama - whenever I think it's hard work looking after one kid, Rally provides the inspiration with how she brings up her three boys. Also, the were-ostrich was pure quality.
Aldeth the Foppish Idiot - one of the few people who I can say seems to make perfect sense in every one of his posts. He doesn't waste time in Random Babbling, preferring to only post when he has something meaningful to say.
Chandos the Red - SP's closet communist who tries to cover his political leanings by pretending to be obsessed with the USA's founding politicians. He can't fool us though, not with the word 'red' right there in his name.
Nakia - for all the sneak attacks in the Copper Coronet and for showing all the kids here that life doesn't end when you turn 20.
Sarevok - for not caring one jot what other people think of his opinions and never bothering to be the least bit politically correct. I suspect he'd be really easy to bait into an argument down in the pub.
Rotku - apart from being a fellow New Zealander, he also coaches a girl's hockey team. I bet there are a few young lads here who would love to help him out with THAT job.
For anyone I haven't mentioned, it's either because I'm too lazy to write any more, or because you're not trying hard enough.
Ofelix Tue, 13th Sep '05, 10:46pm Huum I agree with HB on this one, I respect everybody but I can think of some people who I'd like to thanks personaly (in no perticular order)
Arifirh--- Great Tech help and Python quote (I love Python as much as he)
Chevalier- Put some common and moral sense on me head
Kuemper- Y'know one day I'll beat you at the quote game :) my fav demon.
Felinoid--- Ahem meoow yes? My cat accent is good enough?
Arabwel- you're just weird and crazy
The Magpie- You're funny and had fun-ness ? to the boards
Tal- without him none would be possible
HB - More or less like Chevalier
Olimikrig - great fun even though he might eat me (as I am a gem)
And... finaly ALL of Sp...! yeah!
Barmy Army Tue, 13th Sep '05, 10:51pm Why I outta... :flaming: .
Complete knob is a bit strong dude, I was just more highly strung I think... :aww: .
olimikrig Tue, 13th Sep '05, 11:08pm hmm. Let me see.
Felinoid - Always ready with a quick reply on almost any BG question you would have. Apathic Empath - AE and cold logic are inseparable companions. Only downsite with him is that I sometimes got to fetch my good old English-English dictionary in order to decipher what the heck he's talking about :shake: Ofelix - He's a talkative gem(tm btw), what more can I say? Eldular - He always keep me going those late hours at the FAI DreamingxAshley - for inventing the substance know as pithril Who wouldn't want a pink armour that'll protect you from the dreaded cone of cottoncandy I know I would Kuemper - She's just all over the place :p Kilted Crusader - He's pure evil I tell ya
Spellbound - For encouraging me to get a reality check. :heh: Like that's ever gonna happen All ye pirates - Arrr! Greeat thing you got going on!
Lastly - All the regular posters here on SP.

Harbourboy Tue, 13th Sep '05, 11:12pm HB - More or less like Chevalier Yeah, that's me alright. Sometimes I feel like I'm chevalier's twin.
Hmm, looks like Barmy is also one who would easy to rile up down at the pub . . . . . .
Barmy Army Tue, 13th Sep '05, 11:41pm Not really, the internet is a completely different animal to speaking with the lads at the local ;) .
chevalier Wed, 14th Sep '05, 1:25am I think it would be good to follow HB's idea. I wouldn't like to put anyone ahead of others. And I would also like to make it a bit longer than 10 people, if you don't mind. Perhaps I haven't been around for so long as some of the old regulars but I've met quite a lot of people. So, here goes:
Uytuun: She's a girl after my own heart. Caring and friendly but deadly when annoyed or otherwise provoked and has the potential to rock the boat and pwn some. A legendary party girl but a true lady and a renaissance mind. She has quite an epic reputation but she's a real woman in all respects. And a fine woman, in all respects. Can't but love her.
Nakia: Warm, caring and polite but has an opinion. I don't always agree with the opinions but I like the style. Decided, inspired but not fanatical.
Arabwel: A cheerful one. She has kept that contagious cheerfulness of a little girl in the process of acquiring the depth. Too smart for her own good and a trivia queen. Especially if it's geeky trivia.
Rallymama: Matron Mother Rallymama. Need I say more? The omnipresent mother figure and the romance guru. Some excellent fencing tales if you get her started.
Laiwethel: Tad bit young for a matron mother, but... I like her posts about archaelogy, Latin, Greek. I could have gone the same path and there is always a little nostalgic vibe. Whatever she says she like in the Sensorium is worth getting.
kuemper: She's pretty much everywhere in the Whatnots. Cheerful, friendly, compassionate and creative. Ever playful and doesn't get tired.
Barmy: A fine English chap. There is no pretence in him and yet he keeps the style. A great guy to talk to and a choice companion to down ales with, I'm sure. This must be arranged one day.
The Magpie: Jolly good fellow. The English style. Polite and politely interested, calm and collected. He's crafting his name yet, but it goes well and I like the result. And I would love to see him in debate.
Master of Nuhn: Inspired, spiritual, warm, tactful. He's not afraid to show his emotions and his cheerful attitude is contagious. He can bring cheerfulness into an AoDA debate. He never gets down.
Harbourboy: Fine gaming posts, sober presence, amicable guy. Calm but courageous (not afraid to stand up to The Bastard). Peace of mind, dare I say? Brings life to the forums, but is humble and doesn't have the idol complex (yet ;) ). Makes me think of Dune.
Ofelix: Aaah... young blood. But not in the sense of being new to the boards, by any means. He's a nice rebel accent in the ocean of English domination and he reminds me of myself from the past years, in more than just one way. Also, some girl is going to be really happy one day.
NonSequitur: Competent in debate. On the non-conservative side of things but by no means floating on current trends. He's always there to stand up to The Bastard but he's interested in finding common ground and there's much rejoicing when this happens.
Felinoid: If we agree, it's probably a typo. But he's a nice guy and full of life. He's managed to keep the fire that has left me. Plus, he's as new as you can get and yet everyone recognises him.
Death Rabbit: Competent opposition and a fine sport. And he well knows this. ;) He's not so much courageous as he's simply suicidal: he's always there to challenge The Bastard. :shake:
Aldeth: If he starts something, it's surely going to turn out interesting. He can take massive amounts of punishment without giving up. :shake: And he doesn't get offended over minutiae. He typically stands up to The Bastard but silently agrees on some things. ;)
Splunge: Yeah, Uncle Splunge. :shake: Dry wit and all. Always funny, even though he's an accountant. ;)
Taluntain: Apart from the whole admin thing, he's always there to help if he can. A sage of cRPG. He can be quite funny if he wants. He's competent and potent in the Alley, tackles The Bastard head on (recently seen on the same side, though).
Yeah, that's me alright. Sometimes I feel like I'm chevalier's twin. There is a feeling of connection that I can't explain. And don't ask me about the Dune thing. It just comes to my mind.
[ September 15, 2005, 21:44: Message edited by: chevalier ]
Harbourboy Wed, 14th Sep '05, 2:13am Damn. But I want to ask about the Dune thing!
OK, I'll ask something else instead. Who is "The Bastard"?
Felinoid Wed, 14th Sep '05, 2:25am Who, I wondeR, wHo could it bE? :hahaerr:
Jathszu Khatharua Wed, 14th Sep '05, 2:41am @Felinoid :
Benan Wed, 14th Sep '05, 2:45am Wow, I'm surprised I got one mention. I'm not a consistant poster though.
NonSequitur Wed, 14th Sep '05, 4:33am I just realised that no-one has mentioned Splunge yet... was it just me who missed something, or all of us? The guy's hilarious (even when he's accusing me of being a scofflaw in a roundabout way).
EDIT: Good spot, Felinoid.

Felinoid Wed, 14th Sep '05, 4:58am @NS:
Nakia mentioned Splunge.
Ofelix Wed, 14th Sep '05, 5:04am Ofelix: Aaah... young blood. But not in the sense of being new to the boards, by any means. He's a nice rebel accent in the ocean of English domination and he reminds me of myself from the past years, in more than just one way. Also, some girl is going to be really happy one dayYou've more than understood my friend
NonSequitur Wed, 14th Sep '05, 7:12am And what's this about elephants, NonSequitur? You know, elephants! The big inconvenient things that stand in a room that everyone tries to avoid acknowledging or is actively ignoring.
Well, I was thinking about the number of seemingly-homicidal folk here on SP, at least according to the "Ten Things I'd Like To Do" thread.
Barmy Army Wed, 14th Sep '05, 10:47pm Ah, those elephants...!
(still don't get what you mean  )
Let's have more opinions people, it's interestin'. Come on, open up ;) .
Harbourboy Wed, 14th Sep '05, 10:58pm Yeah, forgot Splunge.
Splunge - without a doubt in my mind the most dry and amusing poster of them all. Every one of his posts is guaranteed to be funny. It's pretty good to know that you can still keep a sense of humour even when you get REALLY old. Actually, I'm sure Splunge has never been the same since he was usurped by Nakia as the most venerable regular poster on the Boards and he has not been seen much lately. Or maybe he's just busy doing year end accounts.
chevalier Wed, 14th Sep '05, 11:07pm @Felinoid: I can't recall Tal and Wirhe recently being seen on the same side. ;) Keep guessing. Hehe.
@HB: Yeah, Splunge is a classic. Always funny what he says.
And thank you for kind words, everyone. Glad to be here with you.
Barmy Army Wed, 14th Sep '05, 11:12pm Ok, let's start a new game: 'Guess The Bastard'.
I don't know why, as I never really read any of his posts so don't know him at all, but I reckon it might be Darkwolf... !
Arabwel Wed, 14th Sep '05, 11:54pm /me knows.
I am still deliberating on who I should pick, and if I can actually limit it to a set number *shrug*
But am amazed that so many of you guys like me :hippy:
8people Thu, 15th Sep '05, 4:43pm I can think of just ten! :(
I mean... there are just too many people here who I enjoy reading the posts to (Even if I don't reply often)
There are the usual suspects who have haunted here from when I was new and there are the newer ones who have a joke or something amusing to say.
All I can say is my top ten is:
1) The SP regulars
2) The Semi regulars
3) The used to be regulars
4) The one's who pop up now and then with something cool :p
very few people here I actually don't like a lot. :hmm:
Will have to think more to try and come up with a list it seems.
Nakia Thu, 15th Sep '05, 6:10pm @Ara, SP just wouldn't be right without you. Besides you make me feel better about my typing.
I keep adding to my list. Was just reading a post by Bion and he is on my list . Benan and anyone else I RP with is on my list. In fact I have their names highlighted so I can tell at a glance when they are on.
I intentionally didn't put Tal or the mods on because they are in a special category. Fun to chase them around the board to see what they're saying and to whom.
 8people has it. This is an impossible task.
Aldeth the Foppish Idiot Thu, 15th Sep '05, 9:14pm First of all:
Aldeth The Foppish Idiot - the first person I can remember arguing with on this forum, undisputed poll king, and another person whose posts I always enjoy. Umm... NonSequitur, I actually can't remember ever arguing with you. You're actually pretty level-headed on most topics. And I graciously accept your praise as undisputed poll king.
Aldeth: He can take massive amounts of punishment without giving up. And he doesn't get offended over minutiae. He typically stands up to The Bastard but silently agrees on some things. Was that a compliment? Maybe? I'm really not sure.
Anyway, I had a damn hard time eliminating this down to just 10. Tal didn't make the last cut, even though I find it hilarious when he brings the hammer down on a forum offender.
I'm not numbering them, because I really can't rate someone like Chev, an arch-conservative ultra-religious type, with someone like Death Rabbit, who uses words like cockmuncher in his posts. They really aren't comparable.
So in approximate alphabetical order with one exception:
Chandos the Red
Chevalier
Darkwolf
Death Rabbit
Gnarfflinger
Harbourboy
NonSequitur
Rally
Splunge
And lastly, and I don't think I've seen him for a while, so maybe he has left the Boards, but I like him enough to include anyway, Darkthrone.
EDIT: Damnit! I can't forget dmc. OK, Darkthrone gets the boot if he isn't posting any more to keep within the limit of 10.

Splunge Thu, 15th Sep '05, 9:39pm Thanks to everyone who had some kind words for me. And yes, I haven’t been around as much as I used to – RL keeps getting in the way. :grr:
Anyway, my list isn’t so much one of favorites, or even honourable mentions, but rather a few people who, for me, stand out for one reason or another. Not just favorites (impossible to narrow it down to 10), and not necessarily least favorites either – just notable.
Harbourboy – probably the most “genuine” poster on the Boards. I never get the impression that he’s trying to create an “image” for himself. Just an honest, down to earth kind of guy whose opinions often mirror my own. And I just know that, if we were to eliminate all the seemingly random guesses he makes in the various games, my post count would be higher than his. :p
chevalier – has a knack for saying, in a post a hundred lines long or more, what most people would say in one sentence. His opinions are usually completely opposite to mine, but I love him like a brother. That is, if I had a brother that I couldn’t stand. :p
Nalia – my big sister who took away my geezer crown. :p
Taluntain – well, he’s Tal. Of course he’s notable. (Remember, this isn’t a list of favorites. :p :p )
dmc – he’s a Rush fan. ‘nuff said.
Arabwel – for making posts that are often indecipherable. And for injecting just the right amount of silliness into the Boards.
Aldeth the Foppish Idiot – as HB said, his posts almost always make sense (even if I might not always agree with him). His analyses often take a “numbers” angle, which I can relate to. And which makes him a geek. :p
Wirhe – for consistently making posts that draw a reaction, while at the same time avoiding one of the prestigious SP plaques.
Death Rabbit – his posting style gives new meaning to the phrase “over the top”. Has a flair for the dramatic. Smells better, too, now that he ditched the fur.
Grey Magistrate – another person who I often disagree with, but I gotta respect his opinions. He’s so eloquent and respectful in his posts that it takes awhile to realize that he’s about a rabid as conservatives come. :p
The above isn’t really all-inclusive, but rather is all I have time for right now. I realize that these are all members who have been around for awhile. Newer SP’ers have been omitted, not because I don’t find them noteworthy, but because I haven’t been around much lately and therefore don’t really know who they are.
Harbourboy Thu, 15th Sep '05, 10:01pm Newer SP’ers have been omitted Hmm, maybe that's because as you get older, all young people start to look the same.
seemingly random guesses They're the best guesses I can come up with for the excrutiatingly obscure movies that usually get put up. You'll notice that when Splunge posts a genuine classic song quote that I usually get it instantly.
Chandros the Red Aldeth, is there any reason why you always spell his name wrongly? You do it so often that I'm wondering if it isn't some sort of in-joke.
Aldeth the Foppish Idiot Thu, 15th Sep '05, 10:22pm
Seriously, I must have a mental block with that name. That having been said, I don't spell his name out THAT often. Editting now.
dmc Fri, 16th Sep '05, 1:51am Oh man, this is tough. As a mod, I probably shouldn't even do this so as to avoid any appearance of impropriety and favoritism, but what the heck.
In no particular order:
Creslin - his incisive posts and clear thinking are marvels of consistency
Sir Breakalot - Concise, pithy, 'nuff said
Azarias - creative use of the language, always a fun read
Clueless One - Clever ideas, never afraid to share a point of view
riddler - very helpful and respectful to the community, a real giver
Nalfein - very prolific and always there with a welcoming post and a smilie
gd2 - Can't say I know him all that well, but VERY funny
Dire Hamster - Another pithy and concise poster with a wealth of meaning in every word
JericoPaladin - A bit of a left-wing wag, but nicely tongue-in-cheek
Bloodstalker - Perhaps the most misunderstood of all, but a heart of gold
Harbourboy Fri, 16th Sep '05, 2:32am Oh yeah, how could I have overlooked Dire Hamster?
That reminds me that I should have included:
Alien Boy – that guy really knows his lizards
Palpatine – haven’t seen him around much lately but he was a powerful presence when he was.
Hojo jojo – he knew the random rolls in IWD2 inside out
Gwenhwyfar – a fount of knowledge on Elfquest
Platypus – certainly fooled everyone because he was from England, not Australia!
MrGrouch – his bark was worse than his bite
Col. Bruce Hampton, Retired – this guy is even older than Splunge!
Bloke with Sword – interesting guy, don’t try and steal his cheese.
Arabwel Fri, 16th Sep '05, 5:46pm All right... so approximately 10-ish people I find constantly interesting and whose posts I like to read... in no partuclar order (accompanied by blatant in-jokes of course):
Rallymama - MOMMY! *glomps*
Laiwethel - fireballing, R&A, and much chocloate
Arifirh: Fiddlestix!
chevalier - because everyone needs an idelogical opponent to hug
Hugo: RBP love :D
kuempar: Cookies! And cats!
Nakia: Honored Elder
The Kilted Crusader - Arrr!
Magpie: Bird Boy. 'nuff said
Deathmage - *snooogles*
I am probably forgetting a lot of people. *shrugs* and there shpould be a ccategory fgor "dear and departed" because I miss quite a few of those who are long gone....
Death Rabbit Fri, 16th Sep '05, 6:03pm As I'm looking over dmc's list, I find myself asking; "Who the hell are these people?"
Seriously, I don't recognize a single name on that list. Is there a top-secret second SP that I don't know about, or have I just been gone too long? What the dilly?
@ Aldeth
I really can't rate someone like Chev, an arch-conservative ultra-religious type, with someone like Death Rabbit, who uses words like cockmuncher in his posts. They really aren't comparable.lol :D
Blackthorne TA Fri, 16th Sep '05, 6:11pm Those are all people who have registered but haven't made a single post... :)
Death Rabbit Fri, 16th Sep '05, 6:18pm That's frickin' hilarious dmc... nice. :heh:
The Magpie Fri, 16th Sep '05, 8:09pm
I wondered that at first, but I was certain that I'd seen Dire Hamster post in the AoDA befoe now... Must be imagining things again...
Ofelix Sat, 17th Sep '05, 12:03am For the missing people you could check
Death Rabbit's idea (http://www.sorcerers.net/ubb/ultimatebb.php?/topic/18/814.html)
Morgoroth Sat, 17th Sep '05, 12:43am So does this mean that dmc thinks we're all idiots and wants us to learn from the example of these posters (I'm not sure if you can call them posters if they've never actually posted) and just shut up? :p
Harbourboy Sat, 17th Sep '05, 3:16am The people on my list had all posted for the very reason that people who haven't posted are really not posters.
dmc Sat, 17th Sep '05, 4:59am Morgoroth - not at all. I was making a joke and seeing how long it took to figure out (thanks BTA for spoiling my fun :shame: ).
I started thinking about how many people registered but never posted, and one thing led to another . . .
Arabwel Sat, 17th Sep '05, 5:23am Naughty BTA! No cookie for you! *glares*
Felinoid Sat, 17th Sep '05, 5:34am While we're going just slighty off-subject, I'd like to point out that a few of the people who have no posts actually have posted! :aaa: While skimming through some of the oldest RBPs, I found a post by someone with no posts. Later in the RBs, I realized that the silly monkey must have been docked all of his (<50) posts by Tal for excessive breaking of the "no nonsense-posts" rule.
The Magpie Sat, 17th Sep '05, 10:07am Wasn't there (IIRC) a cataclysmic event that wiped out a whole bunch of people's posts? Waaay before my time, but I seem to recall a few of the "old guard" :p of SPers mention it before. Either that, or it's another one of my tea-induced hallucinations. :coffee2:
Arabwel Sat, 17th Sep '05, 3:11pm Yes, there was.... I recall having had my post count drop several modern-day-gems' worth *sniffflews* I miss those posts :(
Master of Nuhn Sat, 17th Sep '05, 5:56pm Every person who feels disappointed by not making it into my top 6 is a dimwit, and those who feel proud to be in it even more so. ;)
Death Rabbit (Dread): His slightly exaggerated expressions often results in a good laugh or a heated discussion. Good man and a fun lad. I'd love to have throw up a birthday party with my twin brother. Imagine all the pretty women! To bad we have too much in common: We'd both end up with the same woman.
Barms: Love his attitude. Open, honest and fun. I either smile or laugh when reading his posts.
Chev: Religion and principles can make stern, heartless and narrowminded people. This chap, though, is actually a heartwarming, altruistic and compassionate gentleman with a weakness for reason.
Uytuun: Fun, crazy, passionate, compassionate, lovely and warm; that's Flemmish with a capital F. Love her.
Faragon: I know that lunatic in person. Nerver able to shut up for a minute... luckly. Often cracks me up with either stories or insults. Heart of gold: It doesn't beat, it shines.
Gnarfflinger: Able to say the things I want to say, but better. I share his opinions more than often, but I lack the vocabulary and grammar to put it correctly. Seems realy friendly and understanding.
Uytuun Sat, 17th Sep '05, 8:58pm Thanks for all the nice comments, guys. Rest assured We love you too. ;)
DreamingxAshley Tue, 20th Sep '05, 1:22am Wow, I was actually mentioned! I so totally didnt expect that. lol. I didnt think I made that big of an impression... *blush*
Anyway... my most favourite posters are anyone who helped make the Pink Dragon thread so funny! ^_^
Darkwolf Tue, 20th Sep '05, 2:15am Thanks NonSequitur and Aldeth. :o
Given that the only views that I have ever expressed here are the ones that differ from most, and the fact that I have been a complete ******* on a number of occasions, to even be mentioned is quite an honor.
Barmy... :p
For the rest of you, I know I was number 11 on all your lists!   :rolling: :spin: :hahaerr:
edit (I guess it is only fair that I put my top ten up as well.)
Gray Magistrate
Harbourboy
BTA
Rally
Death Rabbit
ejsmith
DMC
Chandos
Aldeth
Spelly
No particular order, just the people who popped into my head as I was thinking this through. I hope I didn't miss anybody, I know there are a few more I would like to add, but the magic number is 10.
edit (again)
Forgot T2Bruno. Well, I can't pull anyone from a list I already posted, so I will let T2 have honerable mention!

Shell Tue, 20th Sep '05, 11:59am I only have one favourite poster - Barmy Army! He always makes me laugh!
Death Rabbit Tue, 20th Sep '05, 4:37pm I suppose it's only fair that I post my top as well. I doubt I'll do exactly ten, but since when do I follow the rules around here anyway. ;) This is hard - it's like asking me to pick my favorite ho's - I love 'em all!
Falstaff - The only SPer whom I IM-chat with on a regular basis. Great minds think alike - and so do ours. Chandos the Red - Holds the distinct, distinguished honor of being the only SP member to have a beer with little old me. Darkwolf - No yin without the yang, no shadow without the light...and all that. Master of Nuhn - My Nordic brutha-from-anotha-mutha. We have so much in common it's a little scary. Aldeth TFI - Single-handedly made me stop posting in the ToB forums due to a severe allergic reaction I received from a Poll overdose. I still have a nasty jock itch to this day. Jerk. Rallymama - What can I say...who doesn't love Rally. chevalier - H.W.J.R.? (How Would Jesus Rant?) Late-Night Thinker - Just cool - my brand of smart-ass. Barmy Army - Top hooligan! :D ArtEChoke - Way funnier than I'll ever be, and he doesn't even try. Bastard. dmc - Never a single post of his I don't find perfectly written. One poster who's never posted anything I disagreed with. Bonus points for being a RUSH fan (and thank God I don't mean Limbaugh). Tie: Grey Magistrate & Hacken Slash - These two butt-munches hold the distinct honor of actually successfully convincing me to change my position on a few controversial topics (though I'll never reveal which ones).Honorable mentions: Splunge - Knocked off the top list for calling me "dramatic." (/me pouts and burns Splunge in effigy) Spelly - Speaking of dramatic... ;) BTA - A living incarnation of the term "cooler heads always prevail." This man's buttons are downright un-pushable. And I don't often comment on another man's buttons. Sir Belly - Testing the limits of excessive punctuation...
---
If I forgot anyone, it means you smell funny.
Blackthorne TA Tue, 20th Sep '05, 5:19pm Hey, you just keep your filthy hands off my buttons.
Darkwolf Tue, 20th Sep '05, 5:25pm I won't ask if I am the shadow or the light. :p
Thanks DR...I think.
Felinoid Tue, 20th Sep '05, 5:33pm If I forgot anyone, it means you smell funny. Can I help it if wet cat fur smells? :shake:
Register Tue, 20th Sep '05, 6:03pm Bah, you are all brownnosers.
(plus, you mock lurkers like me. :p )
Death Rabbit Tue, 20th Sep '05, 8:40pm @ DW
Neither dude...you're the yang. ;)
ps - yes, it was a compliment.
Morgoroth Wed, 21st Sep '05, 12:22am This is probably going to get me some enemies but what the hell...
Neither dude...you're the yang.So if Darkwolf's Yang and from your earlier post and the battles you've had with Darkwolf we can obviously draw the conclusion that you're Yin, right? Now Yang is considered to be the masculine side of the two and Yin the feminine side, so are you actually implying that you're DW's b***h? :p
/me runs quickly away before the killer rabbits attack
EDIT: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yin_and_yang
I checked the masculine/feminine stuff from this article.
Felinoid Wed, 21st Sep '05, 12:38am Hmm, Yang is also light while Yin is dark. There's your answer, DW, you're the light of DR's life! :hahaerr:
/me runs quicker than Morgoroth ... again ;)
Falstaff Wed, 21st Sep '05, 12:41am I made a list! I made a list!
<sniffle> I remember back when I had nothing better to do but sit on the internet and post on SP all day long. Stupid Job.
Bah.
Harbourboy Wed, 21st Sep '05, 1:07am Oh yeah, actually Falstaff should be on the missing persons thread as we have missed his sharp eyed attention to the declining standards of English grammar in the world today.
Nakia Wed, 21st Sep '05, 1:12am I remember Falstaff. Now missing in action.
Death Rabbit Wed, 21st Sep '05, 3:25am *sigh*
I was basically calling Darkwolf a weener, for the phallus-reference challenged. Have you people never seen "The Golden Child?" Where the old man in the shop says, of a piece of dried seaweed "It's good to keep the yang up." and Eddie Murphy says "There ain't nothin' wrong with my yang."
Hopeless.
edit - Evidently I can't spell words relating to weeners. I mean "weiners."
Hat tip - dmc

Darkwolf Wed, 21st Sep '05, 2:39pm All I can say is that it must be a complement to be invited to such a group in such a manner. I mean it is not every day that the greatest example of a population bestows such honors!
All hail King Yang himself! Long live Death Rabbit.
 ;) :p
Kitrax Thu, 22nd Sep '05, 6:11am Wow...how did I miss this thread for so long? And how did I end up on more than one person's list?!? I must be doing something write in the CC...I mean *right*. ;) :p
As for my list:
Arabwel - The queen of all Spam and typos! :spin:
Rallymama - Never forget about your Momma!
Laiwethel - Lucky gal who gets to travel to cool places!
Felinoid - His information is solid and quick...and most of his posts amuse me. Not to mention I agree with many of his views.
Splunge - Poor old fart has to put up with us youngin’s bashing his oldness. Still pretty funny for his age. :geezer:
8people - A bit too young...but never-the-less a great poster!
Nakia - The CC - or the BoM for that matter - wouldn't be the same without her!
Jaguar - At one point he was my arch nemesis...but he's alright...for a Canadian... :p
Aldeth the Foppish Idiot - This guy is anything BUT a 'Foppish Idiot'
Gnarfflinger - Cool guy all around.
These lists are always hard to make, since there are so many members that deserve a spot on the list.
As for Admins, I'd say that the three main Ops get my vote as well. Tal's the main overlord and must be respected. BTA is a So. Cal. kind of guy, and can be pretty funny...just look at some of his posts in this thread! And Beren, who's probably the "best" Canadian I know, and always has something intelligent to say. :rolling:
Late-Night Thinker Tue, 27th Sep '05, 9:19am Whew, this is hard...in no particular order...
1. Chev: He has a perspective with which I cannot really relate, and often leads us to disagree, but I have a deep respect for him. When confronted by difficult moral situations, I often consult my "What Would Chev Do" bracelet.
2. Tal: I imagine he sweats more than any of us truly realize. And he puts up with my occasional bouts of irrational anti-authority-figure-ism -ism.
3. Darkwolf: Helped me to see Republicans (not saying he is one) as something other than automatons of the Bible and/or talking heads on Fox News. I also want him to manage my portfolio. I also want to actually have a portfolio.
4. Death Rabbit: He's funny, he's smart, he's furry and found near a hole...what is not to like? Probably one of the few members I could actually see myself hanging out with...and being myself.
5. Darkthrone: He's so intelligent and arrogant and aloof; he is who I would like to be if I could manage the mathematics.
6. DMC: He is often the adult in our self-important meaningless debates in AoDA, and manages to be so without a hint of egoism. And he is a flippin' lawyer!
7. Chandos The Red: What is with the whole Founding Fathers thing? Is he a poly-sci professor? Does he regard these individuals as more than men? Chandros is quite enigmatic but often speaks with an historical authority that grants his viewpoints credence. I wish I knew more about him...
8. Myself: Seriously, I love reading my own posts! Yes, I know, I am sick...
9. Felinoid: He's genuine, funny, bright and difficult to insult. He seems like the kind of person I would be lucky to call a friend.
10. Ragusa: Even though you don't see him as much lately, I found him very well informed. He would also explain things with a cynical wit that led me to believe, although he is usually all business, with a few in him, lampshades may be worn.
Well, I am sure I am forgetting many...basically, if you cause me to post, or incorporate something I have posted, your on my list...
Rallymama Tue, 27th Sep '05, 3:52pm Hmmm, I've appeared on enough lists (thank you, BTW!) that I suppose I should make my own. In alphabetical order, and completely without justification or reasoning:
1. Arabwel
2. Blackthorne TA
3. Darkwolf
4. Death Rabbit
5. dmc
6. Harbourboy
7. Late-Nght Thinker
8. Nakia
9. NonSequitur
10. The Poster to be Named Later ;)
Hacken Slash Tue, 27th Sep '05, 8:41pm Tie: Grey Magistrate & Hacken Slash - These two butt-munches hold the distinct honor of actually successfully convincing me to change my position on a few controversial topics (though I'll never reveal which ones).
DR...does that mean you decided against the implants?
8people Tue, 27th Sep '05, 8:48pm Well... here goes...
Arabwel - No list complete without her :D
Chevalier - Coffee obsessed but still frienly ;)
Deathmage - He's Deathy!
Kitrax - Amusing and makes enough sense ;)
Kuemper - Again, amusing and I enjoy reading her posts
Nakia - Gotta love Nakia :D
Olimikrig - Interesting to read his posts i nthe BG2 forum :)
Rallymama - Is friendly and kind, though I usually see her more in the FAI ;)
The Magpie - Love the avvy, and posts can be quite amusing as well
alpha-order list. Probably forgot a lot of people.
Blame it on poor health if I missed you out! :D
Rastor Wed, 28th Sep '05, 2:33am Nakia - for all the sneak attacks in the Copper Coronet and for showing all the kids here that life doesn't end when you turn 20.20?! You haven't even started to live yet you young whippersnappers!
Okay, until I make somebody's list, here's mine:
-Extremist
-Shralp
-Eze
-Shadowgoddess
-Abazigal: Yes, the guy was a twit, but this thread (http://www.sorcerers.net/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?/topic/10/1956.html#000000) is the funniest thing ever.

Disciple of The Watch Fri, 30th Sep '05, 2:02am ***UPDATE!***
Arabwel: My personal fav. Nuff said :p
Ofelix French-canadian pride!
Felinoid, AKA Big Cat: Who doesen't like the big cat?
kuemper: You're the best, kuemp! *hugs*
Saber: Nice enough fella.
Andyr: He doesen't pop around very often, but a pretty friendly guy.
Susipaisti: Pretty silly but damn fun to have around.
Cúchulainn: You rock, dude.
Kitrax: Sorry about forgetting you, man... you rock!
The Magpie: Hilarious quotes, anyone?
Undertaker: Black Metal Ist Krieg!
Chev: Always nice to exchange points of view or argue with. :thumb:
On the Mod side, now:
Chandos The Red: My fav mod. Seeing him pop in a thread does not necessarely mean trouble.
dmc: Enforces the rules, yet remains a nice guy doing it.
Taluntain: Despite being a big, scary figure of authority, I like this guy.
Beren: I used to dislike this guy, but I changed my opinion, he's a decent fella.
Hacken Slash: His Saga of The Thong was hilarious...
Many will notice that BTA shines by his absence. Let it be known that I do not know him, have no trouble with him and I'm certainly not looking to cross him. Enough said.

Ofelix Fri, 30th Sep '05, 3:27am Eh, you can do better than that Shadow Scorpion!
Ofelix French-canadian pride! One of my first friends on the boards.
Me? Pride?
Disciple of The Watch Fri, 30th Sep '05, 3:39am Well, the list has swelled. You kinda grow attached to this motley bunch.
Ofelix: Yes, pride. We were the instigators of French-canadians, rise and shine, after all. Don't tell me you're not proud of being french-canadian?
[ November 05, 2005, 17:50: Message edited by: Disciple of The Watch ]
Cúchulainn Fri, 30th Sep '05, 11:38am I would be proud to be French-Canadian. I think it is the ultimate sign of non-conformity. The French Canadians have managed to keep their culture and language intact, and for that you should be extremely proud!
The same can be said for the Irish-gaelic and Scots-gaelic speakers in Canada.
Disciple of The Watch Fri, 30th Sep '05, 9:30pm It's like in Asterix: We're the small tribe that has survived english invasion for innumerable years... :D
Yes, it's good to be french-canadian... even though french is a complicated language. Grammar and all that **** are nightmarish.
Blackthorne TA Fri, 30th Sep '05, 9:34pm I believe there is a topic on French-Canadians. This topic however, is about your favorite posters.
Disciple of The Watch Sat, 1st Oct '05, 1:52am Yes, yes, yes. I just wanted to do a quick answer to what Cúchulainn said. I will pursue the topic in French-canadians, rise and shine.

Deathmage Sun, 2nd Oct '05, 10:58am Deathmage - He's Deathy!@8people: You just made my day. Thank you!
(not that I ever really post on the BoM anymore, but oh well)
(and for the reason given above, I cannot make a top ten list either)
(and typing in brackets is fun)
Felinoid Sun, 16th Oct '05, 8:32pm A recent reappearance reminded me of how much I enjoyed Takara's posts in the CC, and I figured I needed to add to my list. (First page, if anyone cares. ;) )
Disciple of The Watch Thu, 24th Nov '05, 6:15pm Hehe, resurrecting an old topic! I finally did a comprehensive list of fav posters and mods.
Kitrax Fri, 25th Nov '05, 1:16am Kitrax - Amusing and makes enough sense ;) Awwww...That's the nicest thing anyone has ever said about me! :shake: :rolling:
Disciple of The Watch Fri, 25th Nov '05, 1:17am  CRAP! I can't believe I forgot KITRAX!!! Shame on me!!!
*EDIT* Fixed. Can't beleive I had forgotten Kitrax...
Kitrax Fri, 25th Nov '05, 1:33am Don't worry about it...sometimes *I* forget about me too. :p :hahaerr: :rolling:
Susipaisti Fri, 25th Nov '05, 1:35am Pretty silly but damn fun to have around.Flattered, I am.
I'll toss in a list too...not in any particular order:
Saber - smart fellow
Disciple of the Watch - fun metal fellow
Felinoid - a font of info and spam
kuemper - a dedicated spammer
Ofelix - nuts
Undertaker - so much metal he shines
chevalier and
Gnarfflinger - both are great at debate, and I agree with them surprisingly often
The Magpie - for the hilarious quotes
Aldeth the Foppish Idiot - always something interesting to say
Damn, there's a whole bunch of others worthy of a mention...but that's ten.
Ofelix Fri, 25th Nov '05, 1:49am Ofelix - nuts WoooOO!!! I am acknowledge by someone yay! Huum you mean nuts as in  bad way or  good way? 'coz some people say I should see a therapist because of that.
Disciple of The Watch Fri, 25th Nov '05, 1:50am Hey, I made it on someone's list!
SatansBedFellow Fri, 25th Nov '05, 1:53am Huum you mean nuts as in bad way or good way? 'coz some people say I should see a therapist because of that. I think he was referring to your high protein content. :)
Ofelix Fri, 25th Nov '05, 1:55am I think he was referring to your high protein content. Errr.... What?!
High Protein???
Disciple of The Watch Fri, 25th Nov '05, 1:57am
Good one, man.
SatansBedFellow Fri, 25th Nov '05, 2:00am Yes, nuts are a rich source of protein. Anyhow, it was a pun or play on words, and not a very good one I must confess.
Susipaisti Fri, 25th Nov '05, 1:44pm Well, my village has a long tradition of consuming human flesh to grok the essence of souls. Protein is important. 'Nuts' refers to...erm...the recipe.
Nuts in a fun way.
Blackthorne TA Fri, 25th Nov '05, 8:01pm Stick to the topic please...
Saber Fri, 25th Nov '05, 8:38pm Back to the topic!
I don't really like picking out who my 'favorite' people are, but I would like to mention two great people. And I still love the rest of you, don't worry :)
Disciple of the Watch: Absolutely wonderful person. He is extremely friendly, and I agree with him on nearly every AoDA topic (as well as a few others). Helpful beyond the limits of a regular person, and is actually someone who finds my arguments useful, helpful, etc. Plus, metalheads need to stick together ;)
And another note on DotW: MAH-velous.
Susipaisti: I find myself reading his posts and being blown away. His posts are perfectly stated, not too long (although, he occasionally writes novels in some threads...), and written with care. Nice guy, all around, I say. And who else would be able to eat all the corn on my farm? No one, I say, but Susi! (Although, I don't think he lives anywhere near me...)
Anyways, I still like everyone else on this board, but it was just those two who have stood out to me.
Disciple of The Watch Sat, 26th Nov '05, 2:15am  Now that's a velvet on my ego!
No, seriously, this is a mutual respect, Saber.
Susipaisti Sat, 26th Nov '05, 2:54pm Thank you kindly, Saber.
If the whole crop up and disappears one day, I didn't do it on purpose.
Cúchulainn Sat, 26th Nov '05, 3:23pm Disciple of the Watch
Undertaker
Myth
Silverstar
Sleepless
Arabwel
Feliniod
Gnarf
Chev
Colthrun
Dendri
And not forgetting all the English and Scottish lads and lass's.
I think all the mods are decent and only gave me warnings when I deserved it ;)
Undertaker Sat, 26th Nov '05, 4:29pm  I'm on 2 lists :D
So mine in random order
-the moderating staff - perfect example of Lawful Neutral people
-Aldeth the Foppish Idiot - excellent post
-Chevalier - it's good to argue with fellow countryman :p
-Disciple of The Watch, Susipaisti, Cúchulainn, Warrior of the World - fellow metallers \m/(><)\m/

chevalier Sat, 26th Nov '05, 5:57pm Thanks, guys. ;) I knew it was sort of a bad idea to make a list, even stretching it to 16 or 17 positions. Now I'm going to end up feeling guilty. You know I love the whole SP with all my fingers... I mean, heart, and it's always a pleasure to flame... I mean, exchange views. :D Make spam, not war. :hippy: :shake:
