My mother won't let me buy things off the internet!

She is kinda old for my age.. most of my friends parents are 30-40, while she is 53 and my dad is 55.

Any things to suggest to get her to change my mind?

And i think I have her bargained down to getting it for my birthday, which is Oct.17!

30 is reasonable.

But:

30 - 13 = 17

Seventeen is a magazine, not the age to have children (although it does run in my family).

hmm this is a know problem since i'm from Ex Communistic country and my mother is a Communistic ladylike :] but with the years she changed herself :} my grandfather is a COMMUNIST gentlemanlike and my grandmother too ;] it is very nice to dispute things with them (they believe in one thing you tell them the truth and everything ends with big wrangle ... ) ;]
and for the ones that think that 13 is a age for homeworks they are wrong and right ! Today i was watching my classmates , and i saw what fools they are since for them the problems are - are my mother going to buy me a new shirt and e.t.c. crap ...
And for the one that thing that the man is a consumer , do you know how hard is to find job ??? i can use photoshop + write html and still i found nothing for my age (since one man that can work perfect with autocad , photoshop and coraldraw have found nothing ... )
