This is my first posting and I have a couple of questions about various patches I have heard about.

The Universal Carsomyr: It sounds like it could be fun to test out, but its no where on the web that I can find... and I've heard that it can't be used with TOB. If that's true what's the point.

Concurrent Romances: Another one that might be fun, but does it quit the squabbling between the ladies... I have to admit I like the occasional cat fight. I also heard that there are bugs that can slow down the game.

Evil Override: It's description says that evil characters won't leave the party... but does that mean they won't compliant either... some of the fun in SoA is the interaction between party members so I don't really want everyone to get along.

IIRC the evil overide 'happy patch' just stops them leaving but keeps the dialog between good and evil npc's in the game. I played through with it and i'm pretty sure that the dialogs were still there. The other 2 i have not tried so i can't help you there.

<edit> i just looked on the downloads and saw that you weren't talknig about the happy patch but instead the evil override patch. I've only used the happy patch and that did pretty much the same thing but for everybody not just evil npc's. I can't help with the evil override patch but it says that it can mess up the viconia romance on the downloads page. </edit>

The Universal Carsomyr used to be on Baldurdash, but seems to have been removed. It probably caused too many errors...
