no, I'm not refering to people blowing themselves up for their gods but a different type of fanaticism. This is almost as bad as the great D&D bash. So have a good laugh at this insantity.

Didn't you know that Elvis was the devil himself, come to spread his vile influence? He never died, he just went back where he came from. HELL! :shake:

Hm, is this what they call 'mental blindness'?

Reminds me of some guys who woke up one day and concluded that the Internet was evil, because the devil was known to do be surfing now and then.

I just knew that the Bee Gees were evil, btw ;)

[EDIT:

Message: Introduction to stronger rebellion theme which was to be the thread through all future rock music. It promoted free sex, drugs, and rebellion, presenting them as harmless fun. Also introduced false religions (TM). Folk groups promoted anti-establishment attitudes and appearances. This may be a stupid question, but what's with the '(TM)'? Are they trademarking false religions? ("Woe on thee, evil sect leader, for having infringed on my patent...")

Heavy Metal: Early 70's - Late 70's
Main Performers: Kiss, Rod Stewart, Bee Gees, The Who, Led Zepplin, Elton John, Alice Cooper, Village People, Stevie Wonder, Black Sabbath, Rolling Stones, Eagles, Jethro Tull, and Deep Purple It was that Satanic cult of a 70's heavy metal band, the Bee Gees that sucked me in. That was a gateway drug, leading to use of heavier and even more homosexual heavy metal bands, like the Village People and Elton John.

I was ultiamtely ruined when I started listening to Cindi Lauper.

Thank you for posting this, so that young people of today know that all music is a tool of Satan. I decree that we should lock ourselves in a small room with a Bible.

I see they mentioned Alice Cooper here, twice. He must have really pissed them off.

Now that was some truly truly weird stuff.(Not using the harder word, because it is not allowed)Some people are TOO weird and have TOO much time in their little hands.

A little truth is a dangerous thing.

I think I can agree with them that modern music is, in general, crap. Most of it seems to dwell so heavily on its bass line and shouted lyrics that it would barely be recognizable as music to, say, a Renaissance man. And a lot of modern lyrics are, in fact, glorifying sex, violence, drugs, etc.

Getting hysterical about it and going so far as to claim it's all from Satan -- well, that doesn't help your cause. Everyone knows that the only one from Satan is Extremist.

Theologically: Satan cannot create. He can only corrupt. If they think that modern music is teh sux, then they need to purify it, not get rid of it.

I emailed this guy and told him his page was the funniest thing I have ever read. I thanked him for the laughs, and asked if he would be posting anything else along those lines.
I got no response. Don't you think that's rather rude? :D

This one is a little more broad based, but a very OUTSTANDING read, anyways.

16 out of 20. I am evil incarnate...
There's another place called 'Dial-A-Truth Ministries' (no URL, sorry) which is the ultimate in opinionated, unfounded bullsh*t. I regularly go on there for a good laugh.

Here, at this ripe old age of 24, I got 12 out of 20. Had I gone through this list 7 years ago...I'd be more like 17 for 20. I was never cruel to people or animals, never lacked empathy, and never rocked or moaned with glazed eyes (that I can remember, at least).

I'm so glad my mom never saw a list like this when I lived at home.

Fifteen out of twenty, and I dare say that in the future the score might be even higher.... no, wait, it's a 16! My alternate chat nick Korppiperkele means "Raven Devil"... it's a satanic nickname :p

Hmm I'd get at least 13/20 - but I am no longer a teenager so I'm OK (satansatansatan - yip yip!)

I'm a freethinker - an obsession with satanism specifically is no better or worse than an obsession with the oppressive disgusting evil cults of Xtianity, Islam or any other tunnel-vision alienating segregating anti-global religion.

Hey, my interest in p-n-p D&D started at age 20. Am I still eligible for 'drifting towards satanism' ???

Morgoth, apparently you missed the other link:
http://www.ooze.com/ooze10/html/ooze_strikes_back.html

The whole thing was a prank pulled by the Ooze
As we put on our fanatical Christian costumes before heading to the theatre, we wondered aloud if we could really pull this off. When you do a prank, there's always a question of how far you can push it without being obvious and our act seemed so over-the-top that we were sure people would quickly realize it was a farce

What a knave. These fools need to wake up, and not to their absolutes. Their minds are small, wispy organisms fed by their own hypocrisy.

Absolute, n. A spiked restriction capping off the short road of those who seek the greatest things for the wrong reasons. The offspring of an absolute are Judgement, Hypocrisy and Pain (the latter being shared moreover by the uncles). Judgement loves War, Hypocrisy loves Society, and Pain loves Truth. Absolutes can capture a person’s mind and replace it with warm, smelly, valueless air. Avoid them at all costs, for if your search leads you to absolutes, it will end.

“... This visage I saw was white, white as the purest snow;
my eyes turned brighter with the sight
of wings - its golden blood began to flow;
I had thought before there were demons indeed,
But here a whisper of absolutes unneeded
For the treasures all mine are mine today again,
No angels plague a morality; no demons here are seated.”

Titus 2:4-5 "That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed." Ephesians 5:23-24 "For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing."

The second major contributing factor that have brought about the degeneration of the foundational biblical norms and values of our society within my lifetime is the woman’s liberation movement. The modern American movement was founded when in 1953 by a book called The Second Sex by French feminist writer Simone De Beauvoir, was published in the United States. The more radical wing of the feminist movement adopted the phrase "women's liberation" which was first used in this book. The philosophies and practices of the woman’s liberation movement are undermining and destroying our homes and families.
Found this in the "beatles" section of that page. See, I already knew that there was some seriously stupid stuff in the bible, but it's rare to see a modern church that actually quotes it.

Komei, do you know enough about Islam, and not Islamic fundamentalists to justify your post. Learn a little more first before you categorize.

I actually fear Christian fanatics than Islamic ones. Their fanaticism borders one into obssession, and it is true that the pen is mightier than the sword--these people have poisoned many minds, making such outlandish claims. Their thinking is that everyone in the world is out to get them, so they spout out many lies on those willing to listen to them. I call them paranoid.
