I found a cool way of dealing with this group in particular and other hate groups. In case you don't know about God Hates Fags, it's a group led by Fred Phelps of Laramie infamy that shows up and protests/hate-mongers.

Anyways, the way of dealing with them is to hold a pledge drive:

Apparently the Southern Poverty Law Center suggests this for any hate group, thought I'd pass it on in interest of sharing ideas as well as sparking debate.

Brilliant way of dealing with the problem of hate. Very, very creative.

Nice to know there is a way to fight fire with fire. I will look out for those posts when I hear that creep is coming my way. Unfortunately, he already made a visit to CA.

Heh, that was cool

Holland is fortunately "gay-hater-free", there is no full freedom of speach here, as soon as that Fred comes here and says something negative about gays, races, or religion, he can be arrested..
Maybe you should use that law in the states too, and then Fred will lose its power, just a thought :D

Sorry, if that happens I'll happily take up arms to defend Fred's right to say what he wants.

Even though I couldn't disagree with the moron more. :p

It's a shame of what Mr. Phelps does to the image of both people who dislike homosexuality and Christians (although he of course has the right to express himself as he likes, on the grounds of the U.S. Constitution).

People like that truly upset me - nice to see that someone is turning their negativity into something positive.

Wolves in sheeps cloathing ... false prophets abound ... this is not of Christ nor does it help spread the gospel.

Ha! While I certainly defend his freedom of speech, nice to see that other people can take advantage of the jackass.

Excellent story.
