No, for the senses of a cockroach are so different from those of a human that you'd need a gallon of Klatchian coffee (sorry, you need to be a Pratchett fan to get that...) to see the world like a human....

What if you could recognise it though. That would be terrible, I could never say the words, "hey good lookin'" ever again, (not that it ever worked anyway)

I'd be intrigued into comparing stuff with my new and old sense - but would soon suffer from withdrawl symptoms at my computers absense and my mother would freak out.

Been reading Kafka, have you, Elios? If, like him, you changed into a man sized cockroach, your perspective based on size wouldn't change too much.

Elios - Franz is NOT your friend - especially if you are seriously having dreams about turning into cockroaches. Straaaaange story - good, but strange!

Just think of the satisfaction you'd get when someone tries to squash you. HA! not dead yet! HA! still not dead. So fulfilling

Well you know, certain species of cockroaches can survive radiation. Could be useful at some point.

the kafka story is one of the wierdest that i have read.

if you were a man-sized cockroach, then you would gradually take on the mannerisms of a cockroach, which would not be very nice

I used to be a cockroach and turned into a human. Not very much changed. Women fleeing in terror, I still get kicked, find myself in filthy littered places. :p
