Well, Nalia was just captured after I completed The Planar Sphere and I must say, having two mages is a must for myself. I miss a lot of what she can do for me (remove traps for one) and being able to back up the party with extra firepower is a must.

Now I have myself, Korgan, Minsc, Valygar, Jaheira and Aerie as my entire party. So who gets the boot in your mind if you were in my shoes?

Korgan is awesome, his skill in Battle Axes make him worth keeping around. Minsc is deadly now that he's weilding that talking sword and I really like Valygar.

Jaheira is very helpful, she backs up Aerie, but I need a mage to back Aerie up as well.

Which fighter is canned?

Actually, I'm not sure, I had just let go of Aerie to let in the quest NPC and I'm finding myself regretting that decision in a big way I really liked having her and Nalia flinging spells from the back. I really miss that girl, I think I'll go get her again. They sure didn't make it easy to pick who to keep and who not to keep hey? I think I'd let go of Valygar if I were you though but that's strictly a personal opinion as I happen to think the other characters you mentioned are better. Please don't jump on me everyone.. it's not that I dislike Valygar, I just like the others better :D

Korgan or Valygar would have to get the 'boot' -my 'meager opinion'. After Korgan's quests are done, he's good only for the hilarious statements he makes and a good fight. He's also an extreme danger to other party members -Jaheria & Aerie to be specific. Also, he'll bolt on you eventually if your reputation gets high enough.

It was painful for me, but I also let Valygar go. He was awesome with a +3 Bow and needed a -THAC0 with +2 missle bracers and the Helm of Balduraan. But I let him go as well. I may pick him up again.

My party has a Fighter, Jaheria, Nalia, Aerie, Viconia & Minsc (&Boo.. sorry there Minsc -it won't happen again..). I only recently dropped Yoshimo for Viconia. I simply wanted a Cleric that has a 17 or 18 Wisdom. And with a Thieving Potion (which I stock up on) Nalia is a fair replacement for Yoshimo. -although I loved his hilarious dialouges as well. "

Im at the point where i wanna pick up someone and replace Valygar, I am still suppose to bring his dead body back to the Wizzard people at the goverment place. Is he worth returning?
