I don't know that there's anything too surprising about this, but it is interesting to see the likely al Qaeda link here. I feel for this guy's family.

I feel for his family too. What is interesting is that no one suspected him -- we found that too in this country. It's not like these people are ogres or 3-headed monsters, easily identified. Seattle had quite a few al Queda support groups that were eventually cleared out -- but these people were soft spoken, friendly -- not what one would think a terrorist mentality should be.

read into it... if you listen to the actual recording youll notice that the bomber doesnt actually say that alqaeda had anything to do with it at all... only that bin laden is his hero and that he wishes to follow in his footsteps. they were "inspired" by alqaeda

there is no alqaeda link... just alqaeda fanatical ideals - so along come alqaeda using this attack to make more threats... its the usual thing, if someone carrys out a bombing in spain, along come eta claiming more attacks will follow.
