My girlfriend suggested me Supertramp (Crime of the century) she said it's a really nice band. However am I not sure yet if I will love it, Could you give your opinion on it?

BTW I like Pink Floyd, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Lenny Kravitz, The beatles, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Metalica, Rammstein, Rhapsody, Windir, Our lady Peaces, Children of Bodom, Riverdances, Gun 'N Roses... err that's about it

Supertramp is an excellent band. Crime Of The Century, along with Crisis What Crisis and Even In The Quietest Moments, are IMO their best albums.

Having said that, however, I'm not sure that you would like them. Aside from The Beatles and some of Pink Floyd's music, they are mellower than the bands you listed, with more of a "folksy" feel to them (but I'm not familiar with Children of Bodom or Riverdances). On the other hand, since you like The Beatles, you might like Supertramp; if you can find them on sale somewhere (shouldn't be hard), it might be worth a shot. :)

Though I don't have any of their albums, I'm a big fan of Supertramp, particularly The Logical Song, and considering your listed tastes seem quite varied, I'd say you just may like them.

I love this band. Got "The Very Best of Supertramp"
You'll probably know some of their songs, since much of theirs is covered and remixed.

Some good stuff:
The Logical song
Dreamer
Give a little Bit
Breakfast in America
Crime of the century
School
Take the long way home

If you happen to like Marillion, Foreigner and Alan Parson, you must try it.

This site (http://pages.infinit.net/jyss/supertramp.html) has some midi-immitations you could listen to. Perhaps you recognize some of the music. Remember they are just immitations and thus patheticly boring compared to the origional songs.

Ever heard of "Yes"?

Yes, it's much like Yes and many other early 80's rock/pop. Owner of a lonely heart, right?
