Does anybody know of any sites where you can download music for your role playing games. I mean so you can play them in the background on a laptop during a combat or something. And not just music but other sound effects such as spellcasting etc.
I thought this would be a good idea to spice up any PnP game by adding an element of music in the background.
EDIT: If this is the incorrect place to post, could the moderators please redirect this message to whichever forum is appropriate. I'm not sure where to post...

This forum is for running games only. That is, if you're playing a game with others this is where you post about it. Your topic should probably be in Whatnots.

I think some of the music from Baldur's Gate or Baldur's Gate II might be suitable:
Link for BGII music:

The closet I could find for BG was a link that has the songs in BMU format so you need to use a tool to convert them back to mp3:

I also heard that the music from the Icewind Dale game series is fairly good but since I haven't played it I wouldn't really know.....

For Final Fantasy you should go to www.ffinvincible.nl, (http://www.ffinvincible.nl,) it has all the Final Fantasy themes, and they are quite good too.
