I always wanted to start a thread where we could post our favourite music (with a link) so anynone could listen to them. Now with the Sensorium it won't easily get drowned in topics as it would have in Whatnots.

Alright this thread is for your favourite music which almost no one here ever heard from. Songs that are only known in your region but which should be in the wide world.

The purpose is to listen to one of the songs someone has posted and give your personaly opinion about it, after that you can post one of your own songs.

Rules:

1: No illegal dowload sites links, preferably the artists site. If you cannot find a legal link just post the song and artist and wait to see if someone was interested enough to find the song.

2: You have to review a song everytime you want to post a song.

3: Any music style goes, just try to limit the mindless popsongs wich are entering the charts way to frequent.

4: Give a short discription of the music style and artist(s) so we can decide if we want to heard the song.

That said here is my first contribution.

I present to you Kane (http://www.kane.nl) , this is an english singing Dutch Rockband with the occasional ballad. You have to click on Media when on the front page, in the upperleft corner there is a display, flip the songs to 'Damn those eyes' and hopefully enjoy.

You said enjoy, and I enjoyed. That song is great, and is full of life (corny as that sounds). Shame I've never seen one of their CDs in England. If I do, I'll probably end up buying it. Just my kind of music.

My choice would be Colour of Fire, at www.colouroffire.co.uk. (http://www.colouroffire.co.uk.) An English rock band, but beyond that I can't really describe them. Click Audio in the main site, and listen to the preview of Italics. I bought the whole song from the site, mad as it sounds, but this is only the first 42 seconds.

@Xei Win Toh, read the rules. You have to listen and comment a song first before you list yours.

Being your southern neighbour I know Kane from the radio and the tv and all. Rain down on me is pretty catchy, it's been a hit over here.

Couldn't download the songs Alavin proposed though.

I think you might enjoy DAS POP (http://www.daspop.be/). It's Belgian, it's pop, but the good kind of pop. Skip intro, click on "sound", then on "The Human thing" (their latest CD IIRC) and then on "You" (One of my favourites). Their best song is actually "dreiklangsdimensionen", but I couldn't find it anywhere.

Sorry, I forgot - you need RealPlayer for them to work...
