I'm in the lower levels in the task of solving the problem with the Cult of Eyeless.
Is there any way to get rid of the imaginational monster in the temple, and if there is / is not , where can I get the piece of the artifact that I'm looking for (forgot it's name)? It seems that I cant kill the monster in any ordinary way...

Once your down there, there are 4 rooms that have these fleshy, tonsil lookin things in them. I believe the fleshy, tonsil lookin thing in the room on the far right of the map holds the other half the rod of whatever. Once you get that rod the beholder dude comes after you and you need to use the rod on him. Once you do that, a few whacks along side the head and down he goes. Hope that helps!

If you can't kill the monster in an ordinary way, try something different! There are clues given by talking to the people outside the temple, as well as the item you get from the pedestal inside the temple...

Now I feel like I was a cultist of the Unseeing Eye :) The solution to my problem was too obvious; badly injured monster who lives from hate and anger... ;)
