- late 80's, early 90's band, haven't really done anything (except release "Best of" albums) in the last ten years, but were fairly large at the time.
Went to see them last night at the London Astoria, played a lot of the early stuff (Eight legged & Hup), very little of the later stuff, and about 6 from the new album. I had thought myself well past it for attending concerts without the commforts of a seat, but surprised myself and enjoyed it immensely. Still a little deaf and hoarse though.
However, I'm not convinced by the new stuff, commerciality hasn't won, but I'm not sure art has either.
Support act, Audio Porn, were quite good as well, marred only by the fact I wanted to throttle the lead singer - a posturing idiot with his head stuck so far up his own backside he should have won the national Yoga championships held recently.
