Why can't I kill them with sarevok's +2 sword.

I think this is because if you kill him, then you cannot get out of the inital dungeon - which is what I assume you mean by "jailhouse"....

You need to go into Riejak(sp?) room and get the activation item fromthe table in that room - which is next door to the sewabe golem room.

I'm guessing since you've already got Sarevok's sword that those two golems have already served their functions (posted above). However, the game may still not allow you to actually harm them, since destroying them before hand would prevent the game from continuing (i.e., you'd be trapped). There are very few situations like this, but...(possible spoiler)

That sucks! I wanted to leave that dungeon without anything standing!

I never managed to kill the sewage golem but it is possible to kill the prison golem (in the armory room) using the druid's (?!) flaming blade and the mages Melf's magic meteor spells iirc ;)
It takes some time however, so if you are unlucky you run out of spells before you kill it (the kill gives you about 2.000 or 5.000 xp iirc).

Actually you can just whack it to death with that staff +1 you find :D

Ok, answer me, if you kill him who'll open the door?

It can't be killed by any means, not even if you had weapon +30000000.

Bah!

Extremist, you misread Ragusa's post. There are TWO golems left in the dungeon - one is a Sewage golem that you give an Activation Stone to, and the other one is a jailkeep golem, standing in the room with a trapped painting. Ragusa says, that the extra fire damage from the Flame Blade and the Melf's Minute Meteors can actually harm that jailkeep golem.

Yes Modjahed I missed.
I missed to name the golem you can't kill.

But I said what is that golem supposed to do, haven't I? Besides, I never talked about nonkillable GOLEMS up there. And I said HIM not THEM.
So, have a nice day!

I looooooove to say this line to you... ;) :p :p

[EDIT]
Errr, I almost forgot: Shillelagh.
It does more damage than the flame blade to that other golem. And now I'm naming it - Jailkeep. So that Modjahed won't search for top-of-needle-like details in this post too... :p :p

well, i can understand not being able to kill a sewage golem, its made from sewage, u hit it and it would simply reform the damaged part.. think logically

Ugh... Nope. It isn't made from sewage (now THAT would be a feat). It's simply labeled "Sewage Golem" because it operates the sewage system in Jon's little dungeon. And to make it easier for newbies to connect the golem and the sewage room.

And he probably wasn't able to kill it just because he used a regular sword. Golems are near-immune to all but blunt damage. *hint, hint*

I would hope that you can't kill the Sewage Golem before you activate him as being stuck in the dungeon would really suck. Maybe you can kill him afterwards though? I never tried it. Has anyone tried it?

I hope Tal will forgive me for this one, because it is a post addressed to a sertain person.

Extremist:
By no means I am trying to pick on your posts. Its just that thing that I have: I am always trying to be very precise at what I say. I thought that your post might be confusing to someone or you are missing something, that's why I tried to clarify the point in the least offensive way.

Have a nice day, and I mean it! :D

The jailkeep golem is a clay golem, +1 or up blunt weapons but that sewage golem got me,I guess it is unkillable because of the storyline.
