For those musicians out there, what pieces of music are you playing right now?

I've been playing the same songs over and over for the past year or more... partly because I don't take lessons anymore, and partly because I haven't found any interesting songs to learn. So give me some ideas!

Right now I'm playing:
Ragtime by Joplin - Maple Leaf Rag, Fig Leaf Rag, Solace
Chopin - a G-flat major etude, and a march
Liszt - Liebestraum, a concert etude #3 I think (D-flat major)

Too bad opus numbers are impossible to memorize :(

Just scales :( Need to memorise them for an exam.

I'm pissing off the neighbors, remembering myself the good eras of the tribute shows, and testing my new overpowered subwoofer and old mike and roaring Dying Fetus' "One Shot One Kill" They'll hate me. Oh wait, they already do.

You know, I haven't appreciated how difficult scales and arpeggios were until I stopped practising them for a year. I can't even play those with speed and precision anymore, which is kinda sad since they are so basic. But it's not likely I'll pick them up again, given that they are so boring.

Aside from the regular random solo widdlydiddly stuff I always play, I've been trying to get my right hand going by playing some old Metallica and Slayer. My current aim is to be able to actually *play* the latest thrash song I wrote without lowering the tempo.

Lately I've been recruited to a rock and roll band playing the drums, and they're mostly doing original material.

As scales go, I only play the basic ones, really. I can't be bothered with these mumbo jumbo Japanese Kumoi scales or what have you. The lead guitarists I like best happen to be ones who basically just play pentatonic and diatonic minors or chromatic stuff when it fits.
