FYI, a Ghost Rider movie will come out next year, and a Magneto movie is in the works.

Enagonios Sun, 9th Jul '06, 3:18pm Iron Man is also in the works I believe.
If we're talking about Mike Carey's Lucifer from Vertigo then I don't want a movie made, it will only water him down completely like a movie did with John Constantine.
IMO, Watchmen is too complicated to be fit into a movie unless they made it crappy so, no also. V for Vendetta kicked ass however so I may be wrong.
I'll vote for Thor then.
kuemper Sun, 9th Jul '06, 3:51pm Wonder Woman, coming out this year I believe. I'm not worried about the film messing the comic continuity since it has a decent director.
Bassil Warbone Sun, 9th Jul '06, 3:59pm @ Enagonios yea, thats the Lucifer I mean.
Dragonfly Sun, 9th Jul '06, 7:16pm I'd like to see a movie featuring Frank by Jim Woodring. He's surreal and philosophical. What could be better?
Harbourboy Sun, 9th Jul '06, 9:44pm Palpatine: The College Years.
Felinoid Mon, 10th Jul '06, 12:28am I went with Thor because of the jokes in OotS (Iron Man was the only other one I even knew about), but the real one I want to see a movie made about is...me!
/me leaves everyone to guess whether he's a hero or a villain ;)
kuemper Mon, 10th Jul '06, 12:51am Palpatine: The College Years.:hahaerr: :hahaerr: Absolutely bril, HB. :thumb:
Bassil Warbone Mon, 10th Jul '06, 1:11am You are always a hero to me Fel!
Cúchulainn Fri, 21st Jul '06, 11:51am Dillon Dog, however I would hate to see a movie based on Slane
Bahir the Red Fri, 21st Jul '06, 1:33pm Thor, as in the scandinavian god? Then yes, I would like to see a movie about him.
Cúchulainn Fri, 21st Jul '06, 1:53pm Really? Hollywood would probably get Leo DiCaprio to play him...
Daie d'Malkin Fri, 21st Jul '06, 11:40pm Durham Red, Durham Red, Durham Red, Durham Red, Durh....I'm not a fanboiy, honest! :D
The Sandman would be an awesome film. Perhaps Mr Depp is available?
Death Rabbit Fri, 21st Jul '06, 11:43pm The Hamburglar. Played by John Malkovich.
Blackthorne TA Sat, 22nd Jul '06, 5:56pm  A John Malkovich Hamburglar! I'd watch that! :shake:
The mad haggis Fri, 18th Aug '06, 10:03pm Don't know about comic book, but I would love to see a movie made based on The David Gemmill novel Legend.
shadow lurker Sat, 19th Aug '06, 10:58am I wouldn't mind a movie about Maverick. :D
DarkStrider Sat, 19th Aug '06, 11:35am I votes other becuase there's so many, Jon Shannow, Waylander, Druss, Sparhawk, Corwin, Fitz, Dream, Lucifer immediately spring to mind.
Clixby Sat, 19th Aug '06, 12:09pm Watchmen, although common sense tells me they'd probably screw up.
Also Transmetropolitan. I'm pretty sure Spider Jerusalem was instrumental in my decision to become a journalist.
Bassil Warbone Mon, 21st Aug '06, 8:14am I am surprised, I thought that "Watchmen" would get a huge response. If done well it would easily be one of the greatest movies of all times. The key is to not treat it as a comic book story and give it a serious, non-fiction tone. And maybe use a cast of lesser known performers, this might inspire some great acting on thier part to try and make a memerable performance. Something on the scale of LotR.

Wiley One Sat, 26th Aug '06, 2:42am I completely agree Warbone. Watchmen would have to be done in a multiple movie series such as LoTR. I would pay to see it in the theater and buy it for home.
Rorschach would be so intense on the big screen!
Bassil Warbone Fri, 1st Sep '06, 5:23am I wish I could start a campaign to have the Watchmen made into kick-ass movie series. Like you, I would pay to see it in the theater and buy the DVDs.
AMaster Fri, 1st Sep '06, 10:32am I'm pretty sure Spider Jerusalem was instrumental in my decision to become a journalist. With a rolemodel like that, I have to ask if you're steadily employed.
Definitely second Transmetropolitan (c'mon, it has a chairleg of truth), and toss Preacher out there as well.
