I have been in an 80's mood recently and thought I would check out some of my favourit movies from my childhood. So far I have watched (and enjoyed) the following:

Ferris Bueller's big day out
Sure Thing
Breakfast Club
Revenge of the nerds (dumb but entertaining)
The Goonies (maybe not a true comedy)

What else should should I check out? Feel free to recommend non-English language movies.

The Young Ones is late eighties, right? Or was it early nineties?

Red Dawn.

Its with Patrick Swayze and Charlie Sheen as teens during WWIII - when the soviets and cubans invade America. Great stuff.

The Young Ones is late eighties, right? Or was it early nineties?Naaah, early eighties. :p And Bottom is great too. In fact, I love anything which has Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson in it. Or Dawn French.

Ah, didn't realize you wanted comedies. Red Dawn is not a comedy, although because it is older, it is kind of funny.
