Thine arrows are long. That's how it works :) Sarevok• Tue, 9th Mar '04, 10:14pm Sheet music is hard Loerand Tue, 9th Mar '04, 10:43pm Thanks for that little grammar lesson chev :) It made more sense :) [ March 09, 2004, 22:57: Message edited by: Daephon ] Splunge Tue, 9th Mar '04, 10:45pm Ah, the evil Canadian plan to take over the planet is coming to fruition. First, one of our top spies tests the waters by starting a new Random Babbling thread (very well done, Beren  ) Today, SP. Tomorrow, the world!! BwahahahaHA!!! Duke Eltan Tue, 9th Mar '04, 10:47pm I never understood spamming was allowed in these threads... Where Chev got all his posts from makes total sense now :p Taluntain Tue, 9th Mar '04, 11:17pm It isn't, and looking at the previous thread it became quite obvious someone needs to be made into an example to the others that we have a chatroom to do excessive pointless babbling in. Barmy Army Tue, 9th Mar '04, 11:24pm Bloody FC Porto :( . Jammy c*unts! At least Arsenal and Man Utd are through :) . Splunge Tue, 9th Mar '04, 11:27pm Beren, maybe our plan wasn't such a good idea after all. Now you've gone and put Tal in a bad (or perhaps "worse than usual" would be better terminology :p ) mood. Harbourboy Tue, 9th Mar '04, 11:30pm At least Arsenal and Man Utd are through Huh, Porto knocked Man United out......didn't they? Barmy Army Tue, 9th Mar '04, 11:47pm Arsenal and Chelsea* Sorry, typo :D Sarevok• Wed, 10th Mar '04, 12:43am Chelsea ownz. I just hope it is not like last time with barca. Walkthroughs are lame and evil. Ban them. Ofelix Wed, 10th Mar '04, 2:13am Why do you think walkthrough are evil? Sometimes they may be usefull. Rotku Wed, 10th Mar '04, 2:55am Rotku missed over half the last Ramdom Babbling thread, he's not missing another one! I think I might have broken my toe today, it's in so much pain when ever I move it! Stupid rugby! Spellbound Wed, 10th Mar '04, 3:13am Walkthroughs are quite useful, I must say - especially for games that are huge and open-quested. *Spelly praises the writers of walkthroughs!* :D Sorry to hear about your toe, Rotku. :( Aldazar Wed, 10th Mar '04, 3:20am I never thought I'd enjoy 'reality dating' shows until My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance. LMAO at that, I really don't know how these people can take themselves so seriously. Anyway, slowly teaching myself Japanese - very fun at the moment. Malovae Wed, 10th Mar '04, 3:24am Ahhhh, my return to SP after days away :) - well maybe more than 24 hours at least. Is japanese hard? I'd love to learn, I started and gave up after 20 mins or so  well it was on the early learning zone on BBC2 at bout 2AM so give me some credit that i lasted that long. Harbourboy Wed, 10th Mar '04, 7:12am Rotku! What were you doing playing rugby! I thought you really really didn't like that game. Blackhawk Wed, 10th Mar '04, 7:43am Enough with the term "spamming"! Refer to excessive nonsensical posts as "babbling" or "droning" or "diarrhea of the mouth". "Spamming" is a criminal activity. Aikanaro Wed, 10th Mar '04, 10:25am I disagree - or I interpret spamming differently than you. That last RB was a case of crazy insane spamming (though I have seen worse). Vyndin Source Wed, 10th Mar '04, 10:51am Oh man!, I let my brother use the computer for ONE evening, and look what happens... Well... 27 at least... Ofelix Wed, 10th Mar '04, 1:47pm Well it is now Official She and I are in love  Since Sunday, I've had my first girlfriend! Surprisingly enough, it was like much of you said. I didn't hoped love from her but it came afterall. In fact I was very surprised. Plus she's registred here, well she doesn't post much yet... But some of you might remember her in the chat... ¨Naveed¨ anyone? Hurray! Hurray! Harbourboy Wed, 10th Mar '04, 1:49pm You're the MAN! You can now open shop giving romance advice to other people. Abomination Wed, 10th Mar '04, 1:54pm I'm only here to see why our latest Idiot of the Week has been labeled thus. Oh well, not to worry Daephon, even bad publicity is good publicity... despite its name :hmm: ? Rallymama Wed, 10th Mar '04, 2:15pm Hooray! I'm going SHOPPING tonight! Splunge Wed, 10th Mar '04, 8:38pm @ L.B. - well, love hurts sometimes. :p And speaking of which... @ Ofelix - you're sure about this now, are you? Because I'd hate to see you go through what you did the last time you thought she was your g/f (I assume it's the same girl). Well, a tentative congrats anyway. :) Sarevok• Wed, 10th Mar '04, 11:24pm Just bought tickets for G3 in Birmingham, all United Kingdom venues are cert. Go to vai.com, check tour dates, and get your tickets! Ofelix Wed, 10th Mar '04, 11:32pm Indeed it's the same girl. But now it's serious. She lied to me because when I show up in her life more seriously she just got out of a bad relationship with another guy and she didn't another one dating her. So she just lied to me so that we can just ¨be friend¨ . Later after this She felt horribly because she fell in love for me and she regreted it deeply. Anyhow after a little chat she just kissed me and from that it began... Anyway may I ask something? Since she registred, although she post rarely (so far she posted once) would mind pretending you know nothing? Please? I'd be most gratefull. Splunge Wed, 10th Mar '04, 11:44pm Well, OK, but since you've already posted about it, it's pretty much out in the open anyway. Plus I can't do anything about the 3 PM's I've sent her. :p Ofelix Wed, 10th Mar '04, 11:57pm Touché... I didn't thought of that... DOH! I don't like the newest version of mIRC because it has a 30 day timer on it that you need to register by. I want one of the older versions that doesn't have that timer. Thanks in advance! Aikanaro Fri, 12th Mar '04, 7:19am Well, the timer means jack all - mine just expired. I was also under the impression that there would only be one IotW at a time - ah well - a first for everything. Baezlebub Fri, 12th Mar '04, 7:22am Howdy. Been a while since I've been here. Not that anyone cares, me least of all. I've been swamped with school. Not only this, but the companies making the medecines have to cover their arses, so not only do they want to make sure that those dose they say you can have won't make anyone ill, but they also want to build in some margin of error just in case. So, chances are, most people can cope with way more than they say your allowed to have - about 3 or 4 years ago I took 4 days worth of paracetamol in about half a minute, and despite throwing up for several hours I didn't have to go to hospital. I'm 6' 2", but pretty skinny. On the other hand, lemsip is hideously expensive, so you might not want to go overboard just because of that. Vyndin Source Mon, 15th Mar '04, 5:48pm Well, at least for buying the game from this site that I wanted to order from. But, from another, you just need to mark the "My parents allow me to buy this game" button and shop away... :D The latter did not have HotU, thus making me look for other sites..... fade Mon, 15th Mar '04, 8:58pm 420? It is the pot smoker's number. Can't say that I do it, but it is funny, least in my eyes. chevalier Mon, 15th Mar '04, 10:39pm Is there an age limit on buying Hordes of the Underdark? In some laws, a contract with a minor (below legal age) is valid but not effective until confirmed by a custodian, if it's anything bigger than casual everyday contracts like grocery shopping. If a custodian disagrees, it's void. Or the minor can confirm the contract if he gets legally adult by the time and his legal representative says nothing until then. As you see, it's not so hopeless, but quite messy, so it's better to make contracts with adults only ;) 8people Mon, 15th Mar '04, 10:44pm In the Darkness there is a Flame it illuminates your soul and burns in your Dreams A little rhyme for Olachath. Unless you were at a party at the Ozzy house that is. Aikanaro Tue, 16th Mar '04, 7:41am I never realised how large the gap between the 'cool' people and my friends is. Amazing how this has become a world-wide drinking event, even for people who would not normally give Ireland a second thought. Good stuff. :thumb: Aikanaro Wed, 17th Mar '04, 11:31am Wow, if you didn't just say that it's St Patrick's Day, I would have been entirely oblvious. Yet, I still cannot find it in me to care overly much. (What's it about again?) Defspeal Wed, 17th Mar '04, 11:41am St. Patrick is supposed to have driven all of the snakes from Ireland (according to legend). I think most people just use it as an excuse to go and get drunk on Guinness (I know I will) :xx: Harbourboy Wed, 17th Mar '04, 11:46am Well, theoretically, it is a day for the Irish to commemorate their patron saint, Patrick who lived in the 5th century AD and has been recorded by some as being the person primarily responsible for converting Ireland to christianity. He is often depicted as a hero who drove all the snakes off the island nation. But somehow, St Patrick's Day in the 21st century is now an excuse for people all over the world to drink lots of Guinness. :) [EDIT: Defspeal got in before me...] chevalier Wed, 17th Mar '04, 1:53pm Happy birthday. Happy St. Patrick's. Especially to those who don't believe in saints but will gladly use one as an excuse for getting drunk :p :shake: BigStick Wed, 17th Mar '04, 2:32pm Thanks all for the birthday wishes. Just found out the receptionist at work is intreseted in going out with me - worth thinking about I suppose.I ended up married to the (part-time) receptionist at my last job. I suppose that means you wouldn't have to buy them drinks. . .but IF you did manage to convince them then they would probaly be vomitting on your shoes. . .which isn't a good option either. Personally I would just pay for their damn drink. Malovae Wed, 17th Mar '04, 6:51pm Not going to the pub until later now :( @Fade - its a long story, involving a guiness, a mates rather stupid girlfriend and a toothbrush. Still, that's not a reason for me to kill it before the time comes - much as you say. This one will probably not end violently or be cut abruptly, but will die out in the normal course. My bet is second thought or "things have changed". @Beazle: 16 hours of sleep is what I usually get over Monday - Friday ;) Heheh, got sober and lost half the points I won overnight :D Should start studying for the damned test in property law tomorrow. But breakfast before business. There is a proper time for everything. And a proper sequence. Lasagne, I'm coming! And coffee, of course. There must be coffee. Coffee must always be. It is the basis of proper sequence. :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: [ March 22, 2004, 15:16: Message edited by: chevalier ] Rallymama Mon, 22nd Mar '04, 3:40pm Nice avatar, DG! Welcome to the club! Oy, did I ever get sunburned on the beach yesterday. Note to self: Never use any sunscreen less than SPF 15 on your first day on the beach in almost two years. :( My thighs hurt so badly that I have to go buy a skirt that won't rub like my shorts. Any excuse to go SHOPPING... ;) Vyndin Source Mon, 22nd Mar '04, 3:59pm Hmm, still playing Halo (and writing these boards at the same time  ) and I still don't know what I will be doing with my newfound adulthood..... :hmm: Anyway, anyhow and by any means: SPAM!!! :p Xei Win Toh Mon, 22nd Mar '04, 5:35pm Anyone heard of a band called Battlelore? They rock. Faerus Stoneslammer Mon, 22nd Mar '04, 5:43pm Yes actually...I have one of their songs on my computer back home..."Horns of Gondor"...it's great. chevalier Mon, 22nd Mar '04, 6:08pm @Rally: when I was young and beautiful (and stupid, most of all), I would get up, get two coffees (and nothing else) and go to the hot beach in Spain or Greece to make up for the drinking night loss of sleep. No creams, no oils. Hehehe. Instant tan, some sleep and sobering up all in one go :shake:  :shake:  [ March 22, 2004, 18:19: Message edited by: chevalier ] Faerus Stoneslammer Mon, 22nd Mar '04, 6:56pm Done and done. Sarevok• Mon, 22nd Mar '04, 9:41pm oHHHhhh why is it when you put your lighter down you can never find it 10 seconds later 8people Mon, 22nd Mar '04, 9:53pm Because lighters have feelings to and get offended if treated incorectly - in this instance the grow legs and run off - never to be seen again, unless in the unfortunate incidence where the lighter gets tired and it's legs drop off. So remember people, Lighters have feelings to. Sarevok• Mon, 22nd Mar '04, 9:57pm I am sure there are some dark forces at work in my home. I would love to know where they all go |
