I just went out for a (three day early) birthday meal with my dad, my dad's girlfriend (whom I hadn't met before), and my girlfriend. Despite the initial awkwardness, and a few 'yuk' points when they mentioned certain topics (they thought we couldn't hear - ewwwwwww!), it was fun. The food was fantastic and I now must try to stop my stomach feeling wierd, it's digesting a BIG meal and I can feel it. Lol.

But that should be "Ich bin dein" and not "deine ". "Ich bin deine" means "I am your", what means your original translation was correct. It's easy, German drops an e where English adds an s.

Ich bin deine as I am your has to be followed by something. And then it is not a complete German phrase anyway. A German phrase consists at least out of a subject, a verb and the mandatory "hätte gewsen sein sollen können müssen dürfen".

The correct wording in German therefore would be:

Ich bin dein hätte gewsen sein sollen können müssen dürfen !

Or:

Ich bin deine Freundin hätte gewsen sein sollen können müssen dürfen !

Or:

Simsons is still funny. Just is small doses. Its just that there are a lot more programs to choose from now. Futurama is much cooler than The Simsons ever was.

The Simpsons has only lost it's funnyness (is that's even a word?) because one has seen every damn episode.

On a completely unrelated note...I've recently discovered that there are mice in the walls of my house...(annoyingly enough, the wall that my bedroom shares with the bathroom...so when I go to bed, all I hear is crazy annoying scurrying and scraping and scratching sounds...arrgh!).
Always figured my 20+ pound cat could do something to prevent mice from settling in....but noooo. Stupid cat.

@Faerus It's not a university it's cegep ever heard of it? Quebec is the only place in the world who has it. It's after high school but before university. Anyway it's nothing prestigious or anything, it's the plain old cegep of Laval Montmorency...

Next years? No Next (school) Years is my last High school then I'll do my 2 years at cegep and finaly I (hope) will go to the University of Montreal so more like in three years.

Rotku's just spent the entire day driving up and down the runway at the local airport! It was so fun. We got to practice emergancy breaking and skid control and all that stuff that you can never do on a road!

I've FINALLY finished grading final exams for the semester - a few quick calculations, and my job as instructor will be complete at this university.

Can't decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing - I like it at this school, a lot - but I simply despise this town.

I'm seriosly considering becoming part of the "thin blue line". Seems like the only way to go for me now except for the armed forces. And no offence intended to any of our hard-working armed services members the world over, but I feel it's more important right now to help get the internal chaos of a country under control before we all start picking on other countries. With some exceptions of course.

Although, to be honest, I don't think I'd have what it takes to be in the military anyway.

In Cracow - the city of Polish Kings - we had a gay march yesterday. Not even a protestation, or piquette demanding more specific recognition in the law. Just one big we-are-not-like-you-and-we-are-here-and-you-suck show. Actively supported by two Nobel winners in literature (of whom only one - Milosz - can write at all, but the other one - Szymborska - is a commie, so she wasn't required to be able to write to get Nobel award), of whom one was always supposed to be Christian and far-far-right anti-commie partisan. The usual cast included feminists and all sorts of people typically associated.

C3 photosynthesis, is the normal production of Gp by the dark reaction. Take your everyday plant, and it undergoes C3, photosynthesis. It is called so, because GP is a 3 carbon sugar.

C4 photosynthesis occurs in plants in hot/tropical climates. Here they produce malate alongside GP, and malate is a 4 carbon sugar. This is because C4 palnts can acgieve a higher rate of photosynthesis, and do so in the light.

I dont really get the difference of CAm, though, sorry. :(
