chevalier Tue, 20th Apr '04, 10:50pm Spring is so beatiful in Poland. The touch of cool brize sweeping your skin and brushing your hair. So refreshingly cool and crisp. Especially in the evening, when it goes dim.
I almost feel like getting a girl ;)

dman18 Tue, 20th Apr '04, 10:52pm Hey, i thought you said I almost feel like a girl Chev...
I'm so tired, so much legal research, we have a mock trial on the book Ethan Frome by Edith Wharton, and I am a Prosecuting Attorny.
Ofelix Tue, 20th Apr '04, 11:29pm TREMENDOUS BEATING that Ottawa is going to recieve.
GO LEAFS Well said, I just happen to dislike Ottawa. Toronto is my second favourite just behind Montréal. This years the cup is at Montréal of course!
I just hope that Ottawa loose, I don't like them
Doing nothing in math class = 66%
Working hard and study harder in Math = 65%
I am missing something or what? Does I am destined to have bad mark on maths all my life?
Jaguar Wed, 21st Apr '04, 12:33am Its gonna end up being between Toronto and Montreal for the cup. Who wins, well....
teekc Wed, 21st Apr '04, 12:55am war! hooo! yeah! what is it good for? absolutely nothing!
That's the only good thing about battlefield vietnam.
Ofelix Wed, 21st Apr '04, 1:45am Its gonna end up being between Toronto and Montreal for the cup. Who wins, well.... Montréal of course!
Huumm, Could someone could tell me if in german telling a his girlfriend
^Ich liebe dich mein liebe^
is accurate or only show a total lack of german knowledge? (Which is my case)
Anyway I just like to tell her those kind of thing in various language...
Harbourboy Wed, 21st Apr '04, 2:49am Ha ha to all of you (especially Takara, Fireblazer, and Cespenar) who laughed at me for saying that Monaco were going to beat Chelsea.
Only Nocturnal Nomad backed me up. Good choice, mate! :thumb:
Laiwethel Wed, 21st Apr '04, 3:19am Eleven minutes left in the third period, and Leafs are up 4 to 1 against the Sens. GO LEAFS!!
Faerus Stoneslammer Wed, 21st Apr '04, 3:57am Well, it looks like I'm gonna have to agree with you Jag...though I'd be happier to see Calgary vs Montreal...
Stupid Lalime! Stupid Nieuwendyk!! Stupid Belfour!!! :p :p
Rednik Wed, 21st Apr '04, 4:50am Well Faerus, you may not be able to celebrate your anniversary AND the Sens victory this year, but you can't have your cake and eat it too. I just saw the sports news... 4 to 1?
Faerus Stoneslammer Wed, 21st Apr '04, 5:01am It'll have to be my anniversary and the end of the school year then...oh well....
But I think it's safe to attribute the Sens loss entirely to Lalime and the absolute mockery he made of goaltending tonight....those two goals by Nieuwendyk should've been easy saves. :toofar:
fade Wed, 21st Apr '04, 5:53am You know, from skimming through this last page the only words that caught my eye were "Chev" and "girl". Ironically they were in the same sentance. Make of it what you will. :)
Faerus Stoneslammer Wed, 21st Apr '04, 9:59am Well, it's been confirmed; Parisians truly are crazy people. Most likely because of their walking their dogs while wearing little more than a jacket ( ;) *ahem*!)...it could also be because of their dancing while wearing [censored] in front of their windows.
Either that or most Parisiennes just aren't like the good Lady  . ;) :spin: :rolling:
Sniper Wed, 21st Apr '04, 12:11pm My muscles feel like a morning woody!
But its been well worth it!
I've got my black belt (with white strip through the middle) after just 5 lessons!
Damn I'm good
people person-i eat people Wed, 21st Apr '04, 2:46pm congratulations Sniper and right now my legs are aching like you would not believe, because i just did about 2 hours of soccer training and my coach decided to make us run A LOT!!! so i might be going to bed early tonight (about 1am :D )
Nocturnal Nomad Wed, 21st Apr '04, 4:20pm Ha ha to all of you (especially Takara, Fireblazer, and Cespenar) who laughed at me for saying that Monaco were going to beat Chelsea.
Only Nocturnal Nomad backed me up. Good choice, mate! :thumb: Ha ha indeed, we know our soccer, right HB?
Rednik Wed, 21st Apr '04, 6:00pm What brings about this sudden anti-Parisian attitude?
Takara Wed, 21st Apr '04, 7:49pm I'm afraid I do have to eat a large dose of humble pie. I bow to your superior knowledge. Now where did I put that hex?......
Rednik Wed, 21st Apr '04, 8:49pm Humble pie? Does it have rhubarb?
reepnorp Wed, 21st Apr '04, 9:21pm Sorry guys, but this is neccesary! To every Ottawa Senators fan:
NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA, HEY HEY HEY, GOODBYE!
Thats what you get for playing the Toronto Maple Leafs, a real hockey team!
Jaguar Wed, 21st Apr '04, 9:26pm Go Toronto, and may Calgary lose four in a row to the first Canadian team they meet for beating my Canuckleheads.
Ofelix Thu, 22nd Apr '04, 2:02am Toronto Maple Leafs, a real hockey team As if their wasn't other real hockey team...
May I say that Montréal utterly defeated Boston?
Anyway thank you
http://encarta.msn.com/encnet/features/dictionary/dictionaryhome.aspx
for you have improved my english vocabulary.
Now I hereby that I am ready for my english exam tomorow.
Dice Thu, 22nd Apr '04, 3:14am Cool! Today I met one of the bioware guys that worked on KOTOR. He told me he made one of the worlds that is covered in vegetation. I think he said that it's called 'The Lost World'.
Faerus Stoneslammer Thu, 22nd Apr '04, 4:27am Still sober...not good...not good at all...
How will you know I am hurting, If you cannot see my pain? To wear it on my body, Tells what words cannot explain.
Aldazar Thu, 22nd Apr '04, 5:01am Can't think of anything that's not obvious spam except that I got a really good Yu-Gi-Oh card today - Pot Of Greed!
Man I need a life!
people person-i eat people Thu, 22nd Apr '04, 5:08am yes Aldazar you do need a life (no offense) and right now im really really tired and its 11.04am, i kind of think that im getting more lazier as the days go on (but its the holidays so who cares :p )
Jaguar Thu, 22nd Apr '04, 9:43am Pillows....
Aikanaro Thu, 22nd Apr '04, 10:45am Hmm, I'm hungry, and just got disconnected from IRC.
reepnorp Thu, 22nd Apr '04, 1:07pm Man, this sucks, I swear it seemed like it was Friday yesterday. Now I have to go to school! I can't wait for the real Friday.
Uytuun Thu, 22nd Apr '04, 6:26pm Woohoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
I've just ordered my four-day ticket for Rock Werchter (http://www.rockwerchter.be/RW2004/splash.htm) . :D :D
reepnorp Thu, 22nd Apr '04, 11:11pm Woah, Toronto beating Ottawa cost their coach his job! Obviously we were the one thing stopping them all these years, but after the fourth time in five years, they realized Jacques Martin wouldn't make it too much farther.
Oxymore Thu, 22nd Apr '04, 11:33pm Oxy's pleased, Oxy has got 15 on his optics exam and 16 for the work in the lab. Oxy will hopefully continue like this. Oxy is typing a lot of "Oxy"'s tonight, Oxy must be tired.
Oxy bids you all good night.
Rock Werchter... you lucky bastard. :)
Sarevok• Thu, 22nd Apr '04, 11:43pm I hate HATE waiting for late deliveries
Ofelix Fri, 23rd Apr '04, 12:10am I love strawberry, they taste so good. Late deliveries? Well as long it's not perishable.
Why do I feel I have nothing to say?
Sarevok• Fri, 23rd Apr '04, 1:07am Nope, it is my new guitar, it is coming from Japan and I have to wait for another 2 weeks and I am not very patient
Dice Fri, 23rd Apr '04, 2:41am I love thursday. It's my weekend time. I think I'll spend a bunch of hours doing very little except for playing KOTOR.
Aldazar Fri, 23rd Apr '04, 5:28am My story has finally been added to my picture on the photo exhibition site!! Yay for me!!! Not much longer and I'll be featured in a public photo exhibition and all my adoring fans (both of them) will be able to buy a copy!
Xei Win Toh Fri, 23rd Apr '04, 1:37pm Bleh! So much homework!
Defspeal Fri, 23rd Apr '04, 1:51pm Ah that friday afternoon feeling  Yippee, the weekend is almost here,
I'm off to play tibia (http://tibia.4players.de/home/index.php?subtopic=news) online
anyone else here heard of it?
chevalier Fri, 23rd Apr '04, 3:12pm What a nice day. It's 3 pm, I got up two hours ago and have just finished arranging a clubbing night with two girls, and a meeting for tomorrow. I have also administered some 10 kicks in the chatroom, so I can now move on to the most important part: coffeeeee!
:coffee: :coffee: :coffee:
And then I only have to play my sister's big brother for some 1.5 hour and I'll be free to rule in KOTOR for an hour before going out for evening beer with friends. Hopefully, that's going to end in a semi-worthwhile club party.
BigStick Fri, 23rd Apr '04, 3:49pm Bah! It's 8:30 in the morning, I have 3 more hours of work on this, my short day. I went to bed about 7.5 hours ago and have been here for about 2 hours already.
Not sure when I'll get to sleep again, it's Friday and I should be able to play some NWN tonight. No idea when I'll get to bed... :D Yay!
Time to start in on the carbonated caffeine!
Takara Fri, 23rd Apr '04, 6:05pm I have loads of coursework due in on monday. Too bad I've abandoned it for playing desperados.
Jaguar Fri, 23rd Apr '04, 10:32pm Another pillow...
Icingdeath45 Fri, 23rd Apr '04, 10:36pm No one on knew the real name of the who song Baba o'riely(SP) they called it teenage wasteland ;
Dendri Fri, 23rd Apr '04, 11:52pm Blech.
I am bored. I am so *bored* it isnt even funny anymore.
By the gods, friday night and all I worry about is whats to be found in the kitchen. Shouldnt there be party, music, madness (and things I dont dare to mention)? Guess I will have to wait for tomorrow night for that specific part. I am short on cash. :/ Still, I am so bored. And I am too young for boredom!
Faerus Stoneslammer Sat, 24th Apr '04, 6:11am ROTFLMAO!!!!   :spin: :rolling:
My common room has just been completely trashed!!
Stupid hilarious drunken lunatics...LMAO!!
Sorry, I just had to say something....now I have to get to my studying and packing...bleh.
Deathmage Sat, 24th Apr '04, 7:32am While I normally don't post on Random Babblings, I would like to point out that I have a new avatar!
I'm pondering on if we (me + Rotku) should post Episodes 2, 3, 4, and 5 of the Rotku Ledgends.
fade Sat, 24th Apr '04, 7:42am PnP Munchkin contest tommorow, wish my 20 wizard luck!
Jaguar Sat, 24th Apr '04, 7:57am Pillows for all...
Baldrak Sat, 24th Apr '04, 1:06pm Thank you, but I already have enough pillows...
Aikanaro Sat, 24th Apr '04, 3:28pm Age of Empires was looking rather depressing (Where the hell were all those elephants coming from?!), so I came back here to post this
Rednik Sat, 24th Apr '04, 3:39pm Yes... Those Persians build elephants suspiciously fast. Then again, I guess that's a signal for you to build pikemen.
chevalier Sat, 24th Apr '04, 5:03pm Well, if you have no units and 10 enemy elephants in your base, that's a signal that you should start building pikemen :shake:
Yeah, I won that, but the enemy was computer.
Ofelix Sat, 24th Apr '04, 5:22pm Ahhh Saturday... Oh sweet saturday. Still I need to learn my text of Romeo and Juliet for my monday's audition. I need to succed in the audition in order to be accepted in next years Theater's class. But why on earth Romeo and Juliet?
chevalier Sat, 24th Apr '04, 11:01pm Stop complaining and go learn that. It provides nice dialogue options sometimes if you know it ;)
Baldrak Sat, 24th Apr '04, 11:23pm I had a very interesting family meeting today. My grandmother turned 80 and all of the family gathered at my uncle's bar. As a present my uncle said all the drinks were on the house and so a few cousins and I decided to have a drinking contest. I leave the result to your imagination...
Ps typing is damn hard when you feel as funny as I do
Lazy Bonzo Sun, 25th Apr '04, 12:04am I just went out for a (three day early) birthday meal with my dad, my dad's girlfriend (whom I hadn't met before), and my girlfriend. Despite the initial awkwardness, and a few 'yuk' points when they mentioned certain topics (they thought we couldn't hear - ewwwwwww!), it was fun. The food was fantastic and I now must try to stop my stomach feeling wierd, it's digesting a BIG meal and I can feel it. Lol.
Jaguar Sun, 25th Apr '04, 12:58am I think that I want a more fluffy pillow...
Deathmage Sun, 25th Apr '04, 8:32am School tomorrow. After a two week break... :(
EDIT: Wahey, 777st post! And I've been here for like three years!

Harbourboy Sun, 25th Apr '04, 9:33am DM, what's with the new avatar?
Rotku Sun, 25th Apr '04, 10:33am Yay! School tomorrow! Fianlly I have a good reason to get away from those... "people" in #sorcerers!
Lazy Bonzo Sun, 25th Apr '04, 11:43am Jaguar, what's going on with this pillow thing?
Jaguar Sun, 25th Apr '04, 12:12pm Pillows are nice...
Barmy Army Sun, 25th Apr '04, 12:23pm Mmmm..... pillows. :D
Xei Win Toh Sun, 25th Apr '04, 12:24pm Why do I suck at writing essays?
EDIT: New page! Yayness! If only I could make a new page on that *censored* essay too...
Takara Sun, 25th Apr '04, 12:53pm One pillow or two? The ultimate question in life. ;)
Ofelix Sun, 25th Apr '04, 4:27pm two, the more the better. Sunday morning and I still haven't learn my text yet... I really *need* to, but I can't just bring myself to do so...
Lazy Bonzo Sun, 25th Apr '04, 5:22pm Hell, why not have three or four? Why not just have a bed OF pillows?
Ofelix Sun, 25th Apr '04, 5:44pm Bed of Pillow? That's an interresting idea. But I doubt somebody will ever do something like that, that seem just foolish, but it would be nice though. Well You'll won't see me around today anymore, it's time the learn Romeo...
Faerus Stoneslammer Sun, 25th Apr '04, 7:22pm Three pillows for me thanks. A cheap "fake" pillow as the base, with two feather (aka "real") pillows on top.
Oh, and YIPPEOOOEEEEOO!! (wtf was that!?)
I am "officially" DONE my first year of university!!! Weeeeee!! :spin: :rolling:
Craziness, I'm done!! Finished! Finito! Etc!!
Now, to get a couple jobs and make money all summer. Woot.
Dice Sun, 25th Apr '04, 8:24pm Actually we pretty much have a bed of pillows. One of the big (armrest)pillows. A really long body pillow. Three regular pillows. And about three cushions. Of course we do take a few of them off when we go to sleep otherwise there would be no room for the cat.
Xei Win Toh Sun, 25th Apr '04, 8:50pm YES!!!! That *censored* 15-page essay is FINALLY done! *cheers uncontrollably*
Jaguar Sun, 25th Apr '04, 9:52pm Everybody's on board for pillow-mania...
Takara Sun, 25th Apr '04, 10:30pm You know, if you had a bed made of pillows it would make for one hell of a pillow fight.
 Jaguar.... what have you done to me. AAAH!
8people Sun, 25th Apr '04, 10:35pm What's with the pillows??
*me has two new swords!!*
I'm a very happy bunny :D
And I'm wearing Drow-like jewelry! Go me!
Xei Win Toh Sun, 25th Apr '04, 10:38pm This will give me a new gem. What's it gonna be? Only one way to find out!
Moonstone? Whatever.
Takara Mon, 26th Apr '04, 12:26am Xei Win Toh, You lost the bloodstone. Oh the shame. hehe. I'm still counting the posts till I get there.
Ofelix Mon, 26th Apr '04, 12:39am Why it is a shame to lost Bloodstone? Actualy I think that the Moonstone is by far pretier than the bloodstone. Anyway I finaly learned my text only to find that I'm emotionless and that I'm a bad actor... All I wanted from this class is the opportunity to learn the history of the theater, ways of writting and actualy writting but never did I wanted to play but I still need to do audition to write? What a lame program...
Xei Win Toh Mon, 26th Apr '04, 7:35am Meh, just 50 (49 after this one) posts 'til the Ziose. That one's cool!
Aikanaro Mon, 26th Apr '04, 7:42am I find the moonstone to be rather boring. Bloodstone at least had some nice swirly colours
Rotku Mon, 26th Apr '04, 7:57am How can you remember all the different gems?
All I can ever remember is the rouge stone and that green one....
Aikanaro Mon, 26th Apr '04, 8:05am Rotku, with that avatar of yours, you'll never be able to understand...
Vyndin Source Mon, 26th Apr '04, 9:08am Just play Baldur's Gate through a few times, and you'll get the hang of it.....
Hmm, why has there not been a new RB in such a long time? :hmm: Oh well...
Heh, Nationals in English today, the subject being Fame. Wonder what my grade will be...
Nothing under A+ I reckon.... :D
Aikanaro Mon, 26th Apr '04, 9:32am Vyndin - I guess maybe we just need to all post here more. This I am quite happy to do
Faerus Stoneslammer Mon, 26th Apr '04, 10:05am Arrgghh!!! Why do I have to be at home right now, with the world's crappiest computer and internet connection!! Which, for some ungodly reason also happens to keep me out of MSN messenger AND hotmail...Just keep me away from all heavy, blunt objects that may be used to smash this ******* piece of **** to ******* ****!!
20 minutes and counting...and still haven't logged into messenger OR hotmail....****!!
And who says that summer vacation is less stressful than the school year?! (I'm being ironic...although it's true that I've never been THIS stressed out over ANY school assignment).
Jaguar Mon, 26th Apr '04, 11:11am NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! I LOST IT ALL!!! :aaa: :wail:
My computer crashed! I lost everything. *sob*
Well, almost everything. Knowing my computer, I regularly backup all my documents on a cd. But I lost TOB. I was just about to beat up Mr. Monk, and then move on, but nooooo. The most recent saved game I had was just before the fire giant temple. And go knows I didn't want to start there again.
*Sigh* Well, this is the second time its quit on me. But on the upside, this time I have SP for support. And I am starting BGI again, and there all these real cool mods I have been meaning to try.
But it still hurts. I really need to hug my pillow...

Sarevok• Mon, 26th Apr '04, 6:20pm It is soo hot in england today
Takara Mon, 26th Apr '04, 6:28pm I'm wearing my freezer as a hat. Its too hot around here.<wilts> ;)
Lazy Bonzo Mon, 26th Apr '04, 7:52pm Life is evil
Money is evil
Humanity is a plague
Optimisim is for fools
Pessimism is just a word
Like sponge, tap, and drip.
Harbourboy Mon, 26th Apr '04, 9:05pm Life is cool. Choose life.
Rednik Mon, 26th Apr '04, 9:15pm Essays suck. And I use two pillows.
JSBB Mon, 26th Apr '04, 9:53pm Ow, my head is really hurting right now. :(
Oh well, May is almost here.
Lazy Bonzo Mon, 26th Apr '04, 10:30pm Cake is cool. Choose cake?
Ice is cool. Choose ice?
Jaguar Mon, 26th Apr '04, 10:42pm Everybody knows that the most cool things are pillows...
Lazy Bonzo Mon, 26th Apr '04, 10:58pm Rightttt, so...
Pillows are cool. Choose Pillows...
Yeah that works!
chevalier Mon, 26th Apr '04, 11:48pm My wrists ache like hell
Eyes the colour of cherry;
Damn give me coffee
Faerus Stoneslammer Tue, 27th Apr '04, 12:00am Wrists ache eh chev? Maybe you should find a girl? ;)
Icingdeath45 Tue, 27th Apr '04, 12:04am @chev
you got served :p
now for me..I can now play the solo in Fear of the Dark by Iron Maiden at full speed.
Sarevok• Tue, 27th Apr '04, 12:57am Now try erotic nightmares
Jaguar Tue, 27th Apr '04, 3:41am I don't have nightmares. I think that is because of my most comfty pillows...
Dice Tue, 27th Apr '04, 4:37am Wow, I can't believe that we're still talking about pillows.
Aldazar Tue, 27th Apr '04, 5:35am Three days and I'm in court to decide the fate of my relationship with my 6-year-old son! Major stress time.
Rotku Tue, 27th Apr '04, 6:13am Good luck Aldazar! Hope things turn out for the best!
Aikanaro Tue, 27th Apr '04, 7:59am The Cult of the Pillows has risen! Fear it!
Rotku Tue, 27th Apr '04, 8:08am Hockey practice. Terrible weather. How fun!
Vyndin Source Tue, 27th Apr '04, 8:56am What is this about pillows anyway?...
All I know is that feather pillows are not that comfortable. Have one now... :p
chevalier Tue, 27th Apr '04, 12:52pm @Faerus Stoneslammer: Heheh, it's not what you think ;)
/me casts Cure Carpal on self
Rednik Tue, 27th Apr '04, 6:40pm And what exactly does an erotic nightmare consist of? I wouldn't know, too many damn pillows...
chevalier Tue, 27th Apr '04, 7:10pm If you are in your mid teens, that would be both hands broken.
Lazy Bonzo Tue, 27th Apr '04, 9:24pm What does 'ich bin deine' mean? I did a net translation on it and it came out as 'I am your'
Dendri Tue, 27th Apr '04, 9:34pm Lazy Bonzo, something like 'ich bin Deine Tochter' would mean 'I am your daughter'.
Ofelix Tue, 27th Apr '04, 9:54pm Gee, My english teacher said that I cheated on my text because
^Their is no way a student would do a two page text in 45 minutes you must have done it at home and your vocabulary is too good for a normal student^
What was he thinking?! I didn't cheat I'm just creative that's all. So now I didn't get the grade...
Just because It's second language does it mean that I must be at the
¨Hello my name is¨ stage?!
 :flaming: :bang: :shame:
However my audition went well, I'm a better actor than I though... Anyway I still prefer writting than acting. I think I got accepted in the program.
Sarevok 435 Tue, 27th Apr '04, 10:04pm whats the point of these
and whats an erotic nightmare
Taza Tue, 27th Apr '04, 10:09pm @Ofelix
Go discuss in english about this with your teacher. :p
Jaguar Tue, 27th Apr '04, 11:57pm Hoofdkussens, oreillers, Kissen, cuscini, almohadillas, μαξιλάρια, подушки, 枕頭, 枕, and finally, pillows...
chevalier Wed, 28th Apr '04, 12:20am @Lazy Bonzo: Is it just "Ich bin deine" with nothing following? Sounds like "I'm yours" said by a female person.
Real men need no pillows!
Ofelix Wed, 28th Apr '04, 4:30am Huuumm, such a dilema! To listen to Pink Floyd or sleeping?
Rednik Wed, 28th Apr '04, 4:30am @ Jaguar
Hehe, I know what подушки are. That's ruskie for pillows!!! YAY!
By the way, Ofelix, that is so unfair. A teacher just can't take away a grade due to his bizarre conjecture. If the grade is important to you, just take the issue to the schooln administration and keep pressing it. My friend got his 0/60 pop quiz revoked that way. Lucky kid.
Ofelix Wed, 28th Apr '04, 4:32am It is not so bad, Actually I talked to him after and we thing are okay now, Now he believe that I actually have write the text. Everything's fine and it wasn't an important grade anyway.
Rednik Wed, 28th Apr '04, 4:48am It's nice that everything got cleared up, hopefully you won't have any erotic nightmares.
Dice Wed, 28th Apr '04, 5:00am You usually only get erotic nightmares when your pillows are stuffed with marshmallows.
Jaguar Wed, 28th Apr '04, 5:56am Or if your marshmallows are stuffed with pillows...
Lazy Bonzo Wed, 28th Apr '04, 8:18am @Chev, yeah I discovered that she (my girlfriend) meant it as 'I'm yours'.
@Pillows, if you have just washed your hair and for some reason there is still water in your ear (it happens ok!) then when you lie on your pillow you have a good chance of dripping your wet ear contents onto the pillow. Especially if, like me, you sleep on your side.
Baldrak Wed, 28th Apr '04, 1:31pm I'm feeling nostalgic today. I just installed Eye of the Beholder 1, 2 and 3...
people person-i eat people Wed, 28th Apr '04, 4:09pm i sleep with too many pillows, wait let me check..... 6 pillows, i dont know why i do, buts its really comfortable because you can make this little bed of pillows you sleep on, which is really comfortable, but i make sure i dont make it too high otherwise you can really hurt your neck.
anyway ill think ill stop talking about pillows and go to bed....yeh 6 pillows, ok goodnight people's
Jaguar Wed, 28th Apr '04, 5:12pm What if the world were made of pillows...
Lazy Bonzo Wed, 28th Apr '04, 7:32pm If the world were made of pillows then falling over would not be a problem. Also big pillow fight/pillow wrestling. Neato!
metal leper Wed, 28th Apr '04, 7:45pm Erotic Nightmares is a song by Steve Vai, with a crazily difficult tapping section, so I'm guessing Sarevok's comment was talking about that (in reply to Icingdeath45's post about Fear of the Dark)
Rallymama Wed, 28th Apr '04, 8:57pm Funny, when I hear the phrase "Erotic Nightmares" I think of Rocky Horror Picture Show"
Erotic nightmares beyond any measure
and sensual daydreams to treasure forever!
Can't you just see it, oh-oh-oooooh?
Don't dream it, be it!
Dice Wed, 28th Apr '04, 9:34pm I loved Rocky Horror Picture Show. What a classic. Strange day today. I'm actually posting from an internet cafe because I didnt bring anything along with me to read during my lunch break. I'm paying for something I can get at home for free. I guess I'm not very cost effective.
Iago Wed, 28th Apr '04, 9:55pm @Chev, yeah I discovered that she (my girlfriend) meant it as 'I'm yours'.
But that should be "Ich bin dein" and not "deine ". "Ich bin deine" means "I am your", what means your original translation was correct. It's easy, German drops an e where English adds an s.
Ich bin deine as I am your has to be followed by something. And then it is not a complete German phrase anyway. A German phrase consists at least out of a subject, a verb and the mandatory "hätte gewsen sein sollen können müssen dürfen".
The correct wording in German therefore would be:
Ich bin dein hätte gewsen sein sollen können müssen dürfen !
Or:
Ich bin deine Freundin hätte gewsen sein sollen können müssen dürfen !
Or:
 hätte gewsen sein sollen können müssen dürfen !

Ofelix Thu, 29th Apr '04, 12:05am What a crazy language! I prefer my good old french...
The Rocky horror picture show is one of my favourite movies of all times. It is so a noble and high entertainment!
Sarevok• Thu, 29th Apr '04, 12:53am yes it was in reply to icingdeath
Ofelix Thu, 29th Apr '04, 1:53am If you can learn only a thing today remember this:
Pink Floyd + Nirvana = A perfect bliss
edit: Oh, A new whole page to spam! Yeah! and it's all thanks to me Le grand Ofelix!
Malovae Thu, 29th Apr '04, 3:30am I'm going. Be back in a few months or so. heh heh, at least I didn't make a sob sob thread about it. brb.
Dice Thu, 29th Apr '04, 5:08am OK, see ya later Mal.
WooHoo!!! I finally have a bloodstone. I've been waiting and waiting for this moment. I guess I'm going to have to slow down on the posting so I can savor it a little longer.
Rotku Thu, 29th Apr '04, 5:19am Have fun been away, Malvoae!
One more day left until the weekend!
teekc Thu, 29th Apr '04, 8:16am can you feel my pain (http://www.public.iastate.edu/~teekc/misc/pain.JPG)?
Takara Thu, 29th Apr '04, 10:29am I cant wait till tomorrow. I'll have finished off a really annoying piece of coursework, and much more importantly I'll be going to the Reading Beer festival! Woohoo.
@Ofelix: Pink Floyd and nirvana....hmm, I really like combining Pink Floyd and dire straights.
Harbourboy Thu, 29th Apr '04, 11:34am The Reading Beer Festival is usually pretty lame. Every time I've been it is just a big tent full of fat, long haired CAMRA members spouting on about how anyone who drinks lager is a loser. I'd rather just go down to the pub.
Takara Thu, 29th Apr '04, 11:58am I will admit that there is a small snobbish number of fat beardy losers, But dont be put off, The vast majority are welcoming of anyone with an interest in beer, whether you like ale, lager or cider. If anyone acts in that way, I'll set them straight. ;)
chevalier Thu, 29th Apr '04, 3:15pm @Lazy Bonzo, Iago: That's what happens when people show off languages they don't really know... I remember much funnier bits of English bastardisation, anyway. Some people here can't say that in Polish, they just have to throw in some English. And it's never correct English. Oh well, but what do I expect if they can't speak their own native Polish properly?
Ofelix Fri, 30th Apr '04, 12:19am Chevalier I can understand what you are feeling, As in Québec many youngster apply badly accorded english word to french, As if they weren't proud of their native tongue! It's just sad...
Rednik Fri, 30th Apr '04, 3:09am Mmm. Listening to Nirvana right now.
Has anyone here heard of Maddox?
Rotku Fri, 30th Apr '04, 6:41am First game of hockey today!!
Finally!
I'm predicting a 3-1 win, let's wait and see...
Jaguar Fri, 30th Apr '04, 10:00am BLAST YOU!! BLAST YOU ALL!! :flame: :flame: :flame: :flame:

Sah'll right. Just remember to hug and love your pillows...
Xei Win Toh Fri, 30th Apr '04, 1:28pm First post in over an hour. Ok, minus 4 minutes... Where are all you people?
chevalier Fri, 30th Apr '04, 1:37pm Maddox stopped being funny long ago.
Aikanaro Fri, 30th Apr '04, 2:17pm Horray! I can finally calm down from the broadband speed spamming spree on the chatroom. Normal conversation that I have no interest in has returned!
Master of Nuhn Fri, 30th Apr '04, 3:33pm Got out of bed. Slightly headache. Boatparty yesterday till early morning. National holiday today here (Queensday, nothing to do with sexual preferences btw). Lots of 'Orange' here, our own national color.
Will have a headache in quite a few minutes again.
For all you other Dutchies and Dutchies in foreign countries: Have fun!
I heared about a party in Toronto celebrating our national holiday. Have fun there, too!
Rednik Fri, 30th Apr '04, 4:35pm Chevalier, what was the point that it stopped being funny, the point when he started doing random stuff. Something else that stopped being funny a while ago was the simpsons, my god, you fools, just give up on it.
Dice Fri, 30th Apr '04, 5:29pm Simsons is still funny. Just is small doses. Its just that there are a lot more programs to choose from now. Futurama is much cooler than The Simsons ever was.
Xei Win Toh Fri, 30th Apr '04, 5:31pm The Simpsons has only lost it's funnyness (is that's even a word?) because one has seen every damn episode.
Rednik Fri, 30th Apr '04, 5:33pm No way teh simpsons is still good, the writers ran out of ideas years ago. Futurama was awesome, I liked it a lot, and bender is just awesome.
JSBB Fri, 30th Apr '04, 6:16pm Oh my, April 30th is here and it looks like I have somehow managed to survive yet another tax season with at least some semblance of sanity intact.
It feels really good knowing that for the first time in almost three months I won't have to come in to work tomorrow.
Not only that but there is a Leaf game on tonight! That can mean only one thing, Party Time !! :D
chevalier Sat, 1st May '04, 12:05am At some point, Maddox simply exhausted his wit. He chose quantity over quality in the meaning that he started spawning crap instead of waiting until he has something to say. More and more curses and insults while less and less actual content. Writing volumes about nothing particular is a fine art, but it must be artful in the first place. Maddox is... well... Maddox.
Sarevok 435 Sat, 1st May '04, 1:05am you stupid puny earthlings the simpsons is the best show ever i live off of it
@ chev please cast cure carpal tunel on me
Takara Sat, 1st May '04, 1:13am Simpsons versus Bender. I'll pick Bender(and futurama) any day.
Sarevok 435 Sat, 1st May '04, 1:27am Homer smash
Rednik Sat, 1st May '04, 2:02am Very true Chevalier.
In a similar vein to the simpsons discussion, what the hell ever happened to family guy? I actually went out of my way to watch that show.

Laiwethel Sat, 1st May '04, 9:27pm Let's hope that tomorrow the Leafs will play as well as they had last night. Go Leafs Go!
Xei Win Toh Sat, 1st May '04, 10:40pm Yay! My math homework is done, I can play Barathrum's "Warmetal" near perfect on bass, and I think I almost managed to tab the solo in "Angelburner"! Whee!
Rotku Sat, 1st May '04, 11:00pm Archery club AGM today, how wonderful.
*sighs*
I guess we do need a new treasurer, but still that usually means leting some old grumpy person onto the committee. I guess that's better than one of these top-notch archers who like everything to be perfect.
Dice Sun, 2nd May '04, 2:54am My family and I went on a very long bike ride today and had a picnic in the park. Now that is what spring is about. The long cold winter is over.
chevalier Sun, 2nd May '04, 3:38am Aah, love. *sigh* There is no emotion, there is peace... There is no passion, there is serenity... :D
Kam Sun, 2nd May '04, 4:23am Oh man, my back and neck hurt so much... I wanna DIEEEEE!
Well, maybe not, but you get the idea.
Dice Sun, 2nd May '04, 4:49am Are you in love again Chev?
fade Sun, 2nd May '04, 7:13am Back home from college and bored out of my mind. :-/
Faerus Stoneslammer Sun, 2nd May '04, 9:03am @fade- ditto. Been home a week, and the most I've accomplished is sent out a couple of resumes and beat the OC of NWN. And that's all.
Oh, and I bought/started reading "The Rage" by Richard Lee Byers...pretty good so far.
On a completely unrelated note...I've recently discovered that there are mice in the walls of my house...(annoyingly enough, the wall that my bedroom shares with the bathroom...so when I go to bed, all I hear is crazy annoying scurrying and scraping and scratching sounds...arrgh!).
Always figured my 20+ pound cat could do something to prevent mice from settling in....but noooo. Stupid cat.
Slith Sun, 2nd May '04, 9:20am Heed my warning, Faerus Stoneslammer. Cryeth thee out for help in the case of mice swarm and collapsing ceilings, or there shall be much Woe and Sorrow.
Aikanaro Sun, 2nd May '04, 10:15am My cat vomitted a mouse's head today
chevalier Sun, 2nd May '04, 3:25pm @Dragonfly: I'm not currently having an infatuation ;) I'm serene :tie: Well, spring is normally "the time", but I typically have my ones in winter and summer.
Uytuun Sun, 2nd May '04, 7:23pm I'm serene too.
Sniper Sun, 2nd May '04, 10:19pm Concerning Sleeless's topic, I actually know a girl that looks like Avril Lavigne, just a few years younger though. Still, that doesn't mean that she's not hot :)
Ofelix Sun, 2nd May '04, 10:22pm I'm eager to go to my college in 1 years in 2 months! I saw that they offer fencing class! That will be awsome.
chevalier Sun, 2nd May '04, 10:47pm I think I'll go the easier way and buy some bokken or two and force my brother to get some too. Talk about Exotic Weapon Proficiency: Katana ;)
Ofelix Sun, 2nd May '04, 11:10pm I ate a chinesse cookies and it told me:
You display to wonderful traits of charm and courtesy
You'll surely agree that those cookies never do mistake.
Faerus Stoneslammer Mon, 3rd May '04, 6:42am @Ofelix- Which college are you going to? Just curious...'cause if they do have fencing and you go for it...you might just end up competing against me next year (at the very least, some people from my uni)! Not likely, since my uni's in Kingston and I assume your college is somewhere out east? But there's a lot of open tournaments during the year...probably at least one in Ottawa...
SleepleSS Mon, 3rd May '04, 11:56am @Sniper I saw a girl looking like Avril yester day. and then it hit me THIS is the place where i should have post that story. Since afterall, it was random babbeling!
Anyway the girl was bussy skating with her friends so I didn't talk to her...
Ofelix Mon, 3rd May '04, 2:04pm @Faerus It's not a university it's cegep ever heard of it? Quebec is the only place in the world who has it. It's after high school but before university. Anyway it's nothing prestigious or anything, it's the plain old cegep of Laval Montmorency...
Next years? No Next (school) Years is my last High school then I'll do my 2 years at cegep and finaly I (hope) will go to the University of Montreal so more like in three years.
Register Mon, 3rd May '04, 7:29pm SSlepleSS, was that topic the only reason you got the plaque, or did you do something else?
Bion Mon, 3rd May '04, 8:09pm It's self-evident. Anyone making wild and unconscionable claims, such as "Avril Levigne is a beautiful girl", should expect to get the IotW plaque. Q.E.D.
Sniper Mon, 3rd May '04, 8:23pm You're all crazy! Hell! So am I! Once we reach a certain amount of crazyness ... only then will we reach true sanity.
*coughs*
Anyway, I learnt latin today by soughting through the scientific names of plants.
Rotku Tue, 4th May '04, 5:25am Rotku's just spent the entire day driving up and down the runway at the local airport! It was so fun. We got to practice emergancy breaking and skid control and all that stuff that you can never do on a road!
Faerus Stoneslammer Tue, 4th May '04, 7:25am @Ofelix- yeah, I know what cegep is (both of my parents having gone to it...don't ask me which ones though; I couldn't even begin to guess).
3 years? Sounds good. I'll still be around in uni, so there's still the possibility. (btw- Montreal has at least one excellent fencing club; you could join them too :p )
SleepleSS Tue, 4th May '04, 11:56am @Caleb: The Chosen
Yes it was a part in my post that gave me the plaque so I'm not gonna repeat it here because I probably would get baned if I say it again :)
chevalier Tue, 4th May '04, 3:54pm Half an hour ago I got my hair cut. It looked like Luke Skywalker's hair cut, only a little bit longer, especially on the front. Standard length now. I feel so bald. Hope it doesn't incur charisma penalty
Faragon Tue, 4th May '04, 4:03pm If it looked like Luke Skywalker's haircut, it can now only be an improvement, no matter what that barber did

Oh well.
Ofelix Wed, 5th May '04, 2:04am My friend just got his first e-mail ever, it's funny that someone 17 years old in 2004 actually didn't have a e-mail. However he as a lot to learn hence he gave me his password!
Well What Can I say? I'm handsome and Nirvana Kick ass... Huum yes that will do it.
Aldazar Wed, 5th May '04, 6:07am I'm seriosly considering becoming part of the "thin blue line". Seems like the only way to go for me now except for the armed forces. And no offence intended to any of our hard-working armed services members the world over, but I feel it's more important right now to help get the internal chaos of a country under control before we all start picking on other countries. With some exceptions of course.
Although, to be honest, I don't think I'd have what it takes to be in the military anyway.
Slith Wed, 5th May '04, 6:22am Wahey! For the umpttenth time, someone has thought I'm older than I am. I always love it when someone says "Really? I thought you were <x, where x is an age older than the age I truly am>."

Ofelix Wed, 5th May '04, 10:33pm Are you serious? Toronto was defeated?
Laiwethel Thu, 6th May '04, 5:40am Yeah, Toronto lost in OT. :( Very sad. They had been down 2-0 with ten minutes left in the 3rd period, then managed to tie it up. And the bastard Roenick scored on Balfour in overtime. Cup hopes crushed again.

Slith Thu, 6th May '04, 6:13am It has been decided. The Prophet Eminem has stated that many women do not know the title of his band. This must not continue.
EMINEM'S BAND IS NAMED D12!!!
DarkGoddess Thu, 6th May '04, 6:20am Oh, how untrue you are, Slithy! It is not Eminem's band! It's just a band. Ha! :p
Faerus Stoneslammer Thu, 6th May '04, 7:15am As much as I may hate the Leafs...I hate philly more; so I'm with the other canucks here: "Damn you Roenick!". So that leaves what, the Flames as the only Canadian team left in the playoffs? Hrrm...it feels weird putting all of your hope in *anything* that lives as far west as Alberta... ...*ahem* I mean, uh...not including Beren or Mystra's Chosen (or any other Albertans on the boards) of course... :hahaerr: ...
Hmm...let's see; I have to get up in 6 hrs...but I can't go to bed for at least another hour or two...ouch. So I'm gonna have to go to a job interview-whatever-thingy with as little as 4 hrs of sleep. Sounds good (hehe...if any of you remember my posts from exam time, you'll know that there wasn't a single one of my final exams that I got more than 4 hrs of sleep for... :p ).
And the random-long-winded-babbling continues...or ends rather. Meh.
Dice Thu, 6th May '04, 7:41am What a depressing day. I got to watch snow falling outside (by rights there should be no snow appearing now dammit!) And I got to work all day with a fellow employee we so fondly refer to as "Hagitha". She should be a superhero with her amazing ability to suck the fun out of any situation. :bang:
Jaguar Thu, 6th May '04, 8:29am What? Now I have to cheer for Calgary? Damn national pride.
Go Flames go...yay and stuff... :heh:
Rallymama Thu, 6th May '04, 2:34pm Where is Sir Bel when I need him, to help me defend the honor of the Flyers? Does anyone else here remember the Broad Street Bullies' first championship, back in 1973?
And as for you Flyer-haters, take comfort in the fact that we're 0-4 against the Lightning in the regular season this year. :(
Wiegraf Folles Thu, 6th May '04, 11:34pm If there is one thing i hate doing, it's trying to talk people out of suicide. I hated them with a passion. But I got over it. Of course, since I don't really follow hockey much any more (too boring), I don't really have any opinion about them one way or the other.

Ooh...and I started at a new job today; better than my last one...but still not good. :p
And YAY! I also just saw one of my best friends, who I haven't seen in almost a year...very good times.
PS- You and me both Wiegraff...(just try not to get on the other side of it, eh?)

Wahey! Saw The Last Samurai tonight. It was superb.
chevalier Sat, 8th May '04, 1:39pm In Cracow - the city of Polish Kings - we had a gay march yesterday. Not even a protestation, or piquette demanding more specific recognition in the law. Just one big we-are-not-like-you-and-we-are-here-and-you-suck show. Actively supported by two Nobel winners in literature (of whom only one - Milosz - can write at all, but the other one - Szymborska - is a commie, so she wasn't required to be able to write to get Nobel award), of whom one was always supposed to be Christian and far-far-right anti-commie partisan. The usual cast included feminists and all sorts of people typically associated.
Xei Win Toh Sat, 8th May '04, 6:19pm Sweet, just ordered myself a Children of Bodom T-shirt. Damn, I'm gonna look good!
Faerus Stoneslammer Sat, 8th May '04, 7:49pm WooOoot! Just got my final marks back...yay!!

:)
Ofelix Sat, 8th May '04, 11:25pm Woohoo, Tonights it's party times! I've invited all my High School friend and we'll party all night! chevalier Sat, 8th May '04, 11:56pm Legally adult people and no alcohol at a party, that I can understand. But a party full of high school boys & girls and no alcohol? What fun is that? :shame: I would never allow such a travesty to occur! :shake:
Oaz Sun, 9th May '04, 3:44am C4 photosynthesis, salivary amylase, Pavlov dogs, mitochondrion proton pump, root hairs, amino acid R groups, myosin/actin filaments, operant conditioning, R/K-strategists, and so on. Gah.
Biology AP test is coming in two days. Please wish me luck! :)
Rednik Sun, 9th May '04, 4:12am Good luck on AP bio.
The seniors at my school already took their finals. I'm still in Bio Honors, but when I get to 12th grade I think I'll take AP Chem in lieu of AP Bio.
Here's a quick one: What's the difference between C4 photosynthesis, C3 photosynthesis and CAM photosynthesis?
Dice Sun, 9th May '04, 5:30am I don't know if anyone is interested but the guest host for Saturday Night Live tonight is supposed to be Snoop Dogg. I think thats pretty cool. Unfortunatly the musical guest is going to be Avril Lavigne. I guess you can't win them all.
Takara Sun, 9th May '04, 11:10am C3 photosynthesis, is the normal production of Gp by the dark reaction. Take your everyday plant, and it undergoes C3, photosynthesis. It is called so, because GP is a 3 carbon sugar.
C4 photosynthesis occurs in plants in hot/tropical climates. Here they produce malate alongside GP, and malate is a 4 carbon sugar. This is because C4 palnts can acgieve a higher rate of photosynthesis, and do so in the light.
I dont really get the difference of CAm, though, sorry. :(
Register Sun, 9th May '04, 12:05pm Is it just me that thinks that 8people really were dying to get that gem, because when she didn't have it, she posted like mad, and now, when she got it, shehave slowed down extremely much.
Takara Sun, 9th May '04, 4:27pm Well, when you have reached the top gem and there is nowhere else to go, I cant help but feel some of your spamming momentum will go. There just isn't that insane drive to spam. If there were a special "5000" award, You'd still have that desire to post. ;)

Sarevok• Sun, 9th May '04, 7:50pm Ha, I applied to join the police. The tests are seriously hard
