I've yet to understand what goes on in these things... Splunge Mon, 5th Apr '04, 3:07pm Congrats, Rally! Have you told your husband who the father is yet? :p Faraaz Mon, 5th Apr '04, 3:25pm Oops...I posted this same thing twice...how do I delete it? BigStick Mon, 5th Apr '04, 3:33pm @ Faraaz: Ummm... Random babbling. Stream of conciousness. Time wasting. Socializing. Complaining. Bragging. Whining. Celebrating. Crying. Announcements (ala Rallymama). You name it, it has probably happened here. Xei Win Toh Mon, 5th Apr '04, 3:38pm @Rallymama: Congratulations on your new screaming poop-machine! Rallymama Mon, 5th Apr '04, 3:41pm Thanks, all. :) @BigStick: Have there been any marriage proposals? That would be something to see! Dendri Mon, 5th Apr '04, 4:31pm Oh, new life! The Great Mystery. Congratulations, Rallymama - I hope everything goes well!! Oxymore Mon, 5th Apr '04, 4:34pm Bravo Rallymama! How big is it? BigStick Mon, 5th Apr '04, 5:31pm @Rallymama: Not to my knowledge, but there are certainly people here who've been here much longer and more frequently than I. That would indeed be something to see, a match made in SP. ;) How big is it?That's a little personal, isn't it? :o Faerus Stoneslammer Mon, 5th Apr '04, 5:57pm Congrats Rally!! :thumb: Loerand Mon, 5th Apr '04, 6:12pm Life rocks! Actually, it does :D Nocturnal Nomad Mon, 5th Apr '04, 6:13pm Woohoo, still first page. And congrats again, Rally:thumb: Lazy Bonzo Mon, 5th Apr '04, 7:41pm Top Twenty! Lady Luthien Mon, 5th Apr '04, 7:49pm :D 21st! (like the century!) (and the topic itself!!) And Congrats to the mom-to-be! ;) metal leper Mon, 5th Apr '04, 7:56pm well I'm on the first page.. yay! Malovae Mon, 5th Apr '04, 8:08pm Hey, congratulations Rally :) Falstaff Mon, 5th Apr '04, 8:21pm Congratulations, Rally! Can I be the Godfather? Harbourboy Mon, 5th Apr '04, 8:24pm Rally - that is fantastic news! Great stuff. All the best! BigStick Mon, 5th Apr '04, 8:47pm I'm too tired from staying up until 1:30am playing NWN. I must get more caffine.... :coffee: 3.5 hours of sleep is not a good way to start the week. Jaguar Mon, 5th Apr '04, 10:49pm Congrats Rally. You can name the kid after someone here. I can see it now. "Falstaff, get off of that ceiling fan!" or "Splunge, no more Jello until you clean your room." or even "Yes little Chev, I know that thongs are immoral, but stop throwing mommy's new ones out!" Lazy Bonzo Mon, 5th Apr '04, 11:14pm Or '8people! You may have the name of 8 but please, please only say (post) as much as a single child? Please?' Congrats Rally! Harbourboy Mon, 5th Apr '04, 11:40pm Or "Little Sorvo, for the last time, milk does NOT come in 'beer' flavour!" 8people Mon, 5th Apr '04, 11:50pm I'M ACTUALLY QUITE SHY :p I only talk a lot on here anyway ;) Sorry :( *feels ill* *dies* Honestly though - I'd feel sorry for any child named after someone on here. Everyones' names are cool and all, but for RL it would be a bit strange. I get funny looks when people hear my friends call me 8peeps. I wonder if in a few years there will be a message in the corner saying 'Hail and well met, Rallybaby' Harbourboy Mon, 5th Apr '04, 11:59pm Hmmm, I wonder at what age you could register your kid here without breaking the spirit of the 'only one registration per person' rule . . . . . Faerus Stoneslammer Tue, 6th Apr '04, 4:23am 8people, I get funny looks when people hear my friends call me by my *real* name :p Dragonfly Tue, 6th Apr '04, 5:23am Congratulations Rallymama, how far along are you and are you secretly hoping for a girl or a boy? Well ok, I guess if you told us then it wouldn't be a secret then would it. DarkGoddess Tue, 6th Apr '04, 5:23am YAY!!! Rally, I'm so happy for you! We should celebrate and throw a party, but no alcohol for you, young lady! Only champagne punch! Dragonfly Tue, 6th Apr '04, 5:25am hmmmm...I have a new gem and its not so pretty. Kind of greyish. Oh well. Baldrak Tue, 6th Apr '04, 10:23am Just a few more posts and you'll have another gem... ;) metal leper Tue, 6th Apr '04, 10:27am I quite like the gem I have at the moment... maybe I should stop posting  chevalier Tue, 6th Apr '04, 3:00pm Congrats, Rally. Takara Tue, 6th Apr '04, 3:49pm I like the bloodstone. That's the dream <sigh) Wiegraf Folles Tue, 6th Apr '04, 8:44pm Fruitcakes, all of you. j/k Taza Tue, 6th Apr '04, 9:16pm So what if we are insane? Takara Tue, 6th Apr '04, 9:34pm The ultimate cure for insanity is turnip beer. You'll have to come round the still some time and try some. It's done wonders for me :D Sarevok• Wed, 7th Apr '04, 12:24am Chelsea beat Arsenal and are through to the semi final    Malovae Wed, 7th Apr '04, 1:37am My Morrowind game is screwed. Can't get my new meshes for dark elf females and ebony armour to work. I had them working fine before :( Dragonfly Wed, 7th Apr '04, 4:58am That's the problem with good computer games and too many additions. Something always goes wrong. Rotku Wed, 7th Apr '04, 6:12am You should give up those adictions then and join ALFA ;) 3 more hours of school left... then HOLIDAYS! Lady Luthien Wed, 7th Apr '04, 8:19am yay, holidays! For me, spring break is just two days away! Jaguar Wed, 7th Apr '04, 9:10am I feel weird. My cheeks are rosy, I have trouble standing, and I feel like laughing at silly little things. And it also took me a few tries to type this (with the help of spellchecker). I wonder what's wrong with me... Lady Luthien Wed, 7th Apr '04, 10:11am @ Jaguar, What about LOOOOVE  ? Spring is here, sunshine is here ... ;) Rotku Wed, 7th Apr '04, 10:39am Luckey! I want another summer! This one's been terrible! I'd hardly call it a summer judging by the weather, more like a mild winter. metal leper Wed, 7th Apr '04, 11:00am Me thinks Jaguar has been drinking! Baldrak Wed, 7th Apr '04, 11:11am Or smoking some flora... :hippy: Vyndin Source Wed, 7th Apr '04, 11:52am Or the grass that he found on his lawn... :p (a new RB allready   , missed the start :( ) @Rally: Congrats! May it be a happy and behaving kid :p Erebus Wed, 7th Apr '04, 11:59am I just realized something...no one takes me seriously when I post my work. Takara Wed, 7th Apr '04, 11:59am Probably too much turnip beer. You've been visiting the still haven't you. ;) Lady Luthien Wed, 7th Apr '04, 12:09pm Yaaay!!! My portrait pack has been added! :D (I just finished four more portraits but it's too late now... sniff) Phew, I hate being sick : too much free time on my hands ;) ! chevalier Wed, 7th Apr '04, 1:15pm I wonder what's wrong with me... What about LOOOOVE?Hope it's not this bad. :shake:  Spring does evil things to hormones. It probably amplifies the secretion of phenyloetyloamine, doesn't it? Plus, winter might have caused endorphin shortages, especially beta endorphin. I suppose it doesn't increase the rate of dopamine and norephetamine production, so it would be just the crush thing plus need of physical closeness and not necessarily romance and/or relationship thing. BigStick Wed, 7th Apr '04, 6:26pm New study brought up on a radio show this morning has determined that men who engage in sex at least 21 times/month have a 33% lower risk of getting prostate cancer. Apparently, it's quantity that counts, not quality. I'd like to see what their divorce rates are like. :D Rallymama Wed, 7th Apr '04, 8:34pm @Dragonfly: Before getting pregnant, I really, REALLY, REALLY wanted a girl. Now that there really is a baby on the way, I don't care anymore. I suppose I'd still prefer a girl since I already have a wonderful little boy, but as long as the baby is happy and healthy it doesn't matter. Rednik Wed, 7th Apr '04, 9:08pm Being Pregant must be awesome, you can jump to the head of lots of lines. It's a shame you must give birth at one point. Faragon Wed, 7th Apr '04, 9:09pm Gah, I'm stuck on lvl 5 of Settlers 2 :bang: Aldazar Thu, 8th Apr '04, 5:12am I've now officially been a paper-boy for a week! Yay, I got a 'job' that pays money! Pretty crap money though. In better news, we had a free-loader who managed to worm his way into staying for a week and a half (a week of which we also had his 7-year-old son who I'm sure has ADHD) and he finally left three days ago. Now I can actually get out of the house without worrying that something may go missing! Dragonfly Thu, 8th Apr '04, 5:26am Rally, I hope you have a wonderful healthy complete baby no matter what the little darlin' turns out to be but I secretly would like a little girl too if I should get a second chance. On the other hand I've been told that throughout the teenage years boys get along with their mothers a lot better than girls! Jaguar Thu, 8th Apr '04, 6:47am On the other hand I've been told that throughout the teenage years boys get along with their mothers a lot better than girls! That's because teenage boys don't try to borrow their mothers' clothes. Well, most teenage boys anyways... Aikanaro Thu, 8th Apr '04, 8:23am Yay! Back from boot camp (as in: School Camp) And the typo demons have come back with me! metal leper Thu, 8th Apr '04, 12:06pm me: clicky (http://groups.msn.com/hellobrian/queerbopmofo.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=106) [ April 08, 2004, 12:51: Message edited by: Taluntain ] Rotku Thu, 8th Apr '04, 12:14pm *yawns* So tired... atleast it's the holidays :D reepnorp Thu, 8th Apr '04, 1:09pm Oh my God oh my God oh my God! The Leafs had better beat Ottawa in the playoffs, or I swear, someones getting hurt! chevalier Thu, 8th Apr '04, 2:43pm On the other hand I've been told that throughout the teenage years boys get along with their mothers a lot better than girls! It seems so. And girls get along with their fathers better than boys. Some teenage boys even get along with girls' mothers than with girls, like it was in my case ;) Malovae Thu, 8th Apr '04, 5:24pm @ Chev - Okaaaaay, don't want to know more there :p Just got out of bed at 3:30 in the afternoon. I'm lazy... do I care?? Lady Luthien Thu, 8th Apr '04, 5:24pm Check this out! :D I've added a picture to my profile, it's a painting from the latest exhibition of one of my best friends, Sveta! What do ya think? Jaguar Thu, 8th Apr '04, 7:08pm Interesting. Lots of...horns I guess. Better then anything I could have done at any rate. Dragonfly Fri, 9th Apr '04, 4:25am There seems to be something going on with this website or maybe it's just my computer...I can't seem to get into ceartain parts of the boards. Your friends painting is very nice Lady Luthien, it has a lot of movement and an interesting quality of light. Spellbound Fri, 9th Apr '04, 5:45am Anyone ever have a day when they wished a giant anvil would drop out of the sky and squash them to the size of an ant? (Maybe I just need to wish harder.) :heh: Jaguar Fri, 9th Apr '04, 8:58am If I concentrate hard enough, can I grow wings? Takara Fri, 9th Apr '04, 10:22am Yeah, it was when I realised that the two years growing prize turnips was wasted after my closest rival had got a mage to enchant his and beat me at the local show. How humiliating. :( Sarevok• Fri, 9th Apr '04, 3:24pm Easter hols ha I have 5 days off work  8people Fri, 9th Apr '04, 5:15pm I have 2 weeks off :p going to tidy my room now - so Frosty-O can come and visit me and my new fish! I've got six new guppies - 3 yellow and 3 blue ones with orange tails. the yellow ones are called Lyrael, Lyrak and Kly'yre. The blue ones are called Aeykly, Aeyea and Lylaraeal. It has taken three days of deliberation so far. It consumes me. Sometimes I'm like Yoda. And Qui-Gon is my hero. Makes me Consular, I guess. I'm one hell of a fencer. Makes me Guardian, I bet. Sentinel is in between, which doesn't really seem fitting. Oh, well. Just why hasn't anyone made an online test for that? :( Faerus Stoneslammer Fri, 9th Apr '04, 8:45pm You're a fencer chev?! What weapon? Ooohhh...English exam tomorrow...time to start studying. Harbourboy Fri, 9th Apr '04, 10:18pm Interesting fish names, Occy. Hurray, the Blues thrashed the Bulls last night. chevalier Fri, 9th Apr '04, 11:11pm @Faerus: longsword. I'm very evil with longswords. Falstaff Fri, 9th Apr '04, 11:22pm I HATE WRITER'S BLOCK! I guess both Bioware and Lucasarts finally figured out how good she is. I'm not complaining....i'm not complaining. I'm just saying. Everyone seems to be getting their money out of her. Slap another decal up on her kill board. I don't know if she'll ever match Grace again, but she's definately a vetran. More than likely, I'd expect her to do well on-screen. I'd go see the movie on her reputation alone. Not to mention her sultry voice... Harbourboy Sat, 10th Apr '04, 10:10pm Faerus, how come you have an exam in the middle of Easter? Malovae Sun, 11th Apr '04, 3:25am Too addicted to Champ Manager 03/04. ejsmith Sun, 11th Apr '04, 5:07am I'm making the three girls run around in their pan-ties. Two jedi and a teen-shooter. Faerus Stoneslammer Mon, 12th Apr '04, 3:18am Hehehe...I just took a drunk test posted by Chev a good while ago (http://www.sorcerers.net/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=7;t=005522;p=1) and got 86 proof...hehe...I'll try this test again next year, when I get back to hard drinking ( :o ), wonder what I'll get... @Oxymore - yeah, SAT's are some sort of standardized test in the 'States, taken at the end of highschool, for the purposes of getting into Univ/college (afaik)...and iirc, they're out of 1600... Dragonfly Mon, 12th Apr '04, 6:12am Just got back from an easter weekend at my mom's place in the forest. It was very nice and we all ate lots and lots. Now I'm glad to be home again because I sort of missed my computer. Jaguar Mon, 12th Apr '04, 10:13am Flying would be cool. I wish I could fly without a plane or something. Maybe if I had wings, or could just alter the gravity around my body. It would be cool, to just be free. Sarevok• Mon, 12th Apr '04, 4:48pm Man, you really need to stay away from those chat rooms and msn things. Msn is evil. 8people Mon, 12th Apr '04, 8:37pm been reading the 'I have a problem' thread, and reading the last post I've just thought; 1) I'm 15 - I don't even get to meet boys anymore outside my own family. :p 2) If I did meet a boy outside my own family it would probably end badly as the boys around here are quite violent. 3) I'm not even bothered about it. :D Difficulty deciding which one is worse :p Wiegraf Folles Mon, 12th Apr '04, 8:40pm At least with people you meet in real life, you know somewhat of what they're like, but chatrooms are different. You could go looking for a girlfriend, but instead meet a 300-pound ex-convict who's not interested in a relationship. Dendri Mon, 12th Apr '04, 9:37pm I am a bit drunk right now. And not a single soul around to take advantage of it. :aww: Life can be harsh. Dragonfly Mon, 12th Apr '04, 11:02pm I feel like I should go work-out or do something constructive but I have the day off of work so I think I'll lounge around in at-home-cloths and let my brain be mush for the day. dman18 Mon, 12th Apr '04, 11:24pm Mmm, haven't posted anything in a while, thought i should do it here... These new Corn Flakes with Bananas are damn good too. Takara Tue, 13th Apr '04, 1:43am Has anyone read the childrens story of the gigantic turnip? I only heard it today and it waas truely bizzare. Sarevok• Tue, 13th Apr '04, 1:46am Heard of the gigantic peach before but never a turnip Baezlebub Tue, 13th Apr '04, 5:03am Big Question to all the Radiohead fans out there. In their Documentary DVD 'Meeting People Is Easy", there is an appearance made by an Australian DJ. Can anyone remember his name? Dragonfly Tue, 13th Apr '04, 7:42am Why don't you tell us the short version of the story takara? Although I've never heard of it I'm kinda curious now. Lady Luthien Tue, 13th Apr '04, 8:23am Under circumstances I shall not describe here, I have landed in hospital last night... There I have been diagnosed, among other things, with chronic nervous depression. Never thought of myself as that f*cked up. I mean, I do have ups and downs but I'm not a suicidal-prozac-craving person... Weird. There you go, another mentally unstable member of SP! ;) [ April 13, 2004, 09:37: Message edited by: Lady Luthien ] Malovae Tue, 13th Apr '04, 9:41am Gah, what do doctors know? A lot more than me probably. Takara Tue, 13th Apr '04, 11:44am @Dragonfly and Sarevok Anchev. The short version: There was this farmer in ireland who was known for growing prize winning turnips. One year he had a bad drought and was dismayed to see very few of his turnips had grown. There was one however that had a nice head, poking out of the ground. So when he thinks it's ready he goes over to pull it out. No matter how hard he tugs, the turnip just wont come out of the ground. So the farmer's wife comes along and holds onto him and they tug together. Still the turnip just wont come out. So they get the farmer's horse and they all tug together, but STILL the turnip wont come out. So in the end they have the farmer, his wife, his horse, all his children, and all his neighbours tugging on this turnip, and eventually it comes free. The farmer was astonished because it was THE most gigantic turnip in the world. :) The story has some cool illustrations with it. Faragon Tue, 13th Apr '04, 12:27pm AAAAAAAAAAAAARGGHHHH! :bang: Midterms are driving me crazy! I've been studying for months, and now, one day before the test, I find out there's all kinds of things that weren't covered in the lessons NOR my literature studies. And I just can't grasp any of it. The normal stuff had me breaking my head over it already. So that cues all kinds of doubt feelings, making me consider dropping out if I don't finish my entire second year by the end of summer. (I'm officially in my 3rd year now) I've always had to work hard to keep up, but I just can't keep up anymore. Ergh. :( Faraaz Tue, 13th Apr '04, 4:54pm I'm almost finished with my assignments...woo hoo!!!  Four days of Easter hols salvaged!!! Too much caffeine....must log off now!! :p Faerus Stoneslammer Tue, 13th Apr '04, 8:20pm I really shouldn't be here right now...my most important exam of this past year is tomorrow at 9am, I don't know any of the material and I haven't started studying... @Luthien - Sucks to hear girl...but for what it's worth, welcome to the club... Jaguar Tue, 13th Apr '04, 11:27pm I can see clearly now the rain is gone.... Faerus Stoneslammer Wed, 14th Apr '04, 12:37am It's past 6:30pm here, and I still haven't started studying....the odds are looking decidedly unfavourable....on a related note, I'm tying my shoe laces into a noose as we speak, with the intention of hanging myself quite dramatically....all I need is another 3000 pairs of shoe laces and I should be set...oh, and I need to learn how to tie a noose...and for that matter, I need to become significantly more suicidal...so essentially, I just completely lost my train of thought...and now I'm so confused, I don't know where I am or what my name is... EDIT: And that's random babbling (possibly with some sense!)... Oxymore Wed, 14th Apr '04, 12:46am Kinda wasted right now. Tomorrow will likely be worse. :hippy: @Lulu: Wish you well! (I checked out a diet plan on the net but it was all in .lbs) More concretely does anybody know what my weight is in these meisurements? (I weight 47kgs) chevalier Fri, 16th Apr '04, 5:11pm 1 lb = 0.454 kg 1 stone = 14lb 1 oz = 16 grams Your weight would be 92.5 lbs. However, I'm not sure if lb is always the same. British lb is 0.454 kg, perhaps American lb is different? I've seen 1 lb = 0.42 kg somewhere, too. Damn those barbarian measures! :shake: Faerus Stoneslammer Fri, 16th Apr '04, 5:35pm I've always been taught that 1kg=2.2lbs. And by that scale, the good Lady would weigh 103.4lbs. Strangely enough though, when I divide 47 by .454, I get 103.5. Is your calculator working properly there chev? :hmm: And Lady, good on ya for going back to those (ruthless) dance classes! According to the Troyan pound, 92.5lb = 34.5kg (now that's going a 'lil bit too far) Lastly, the Metric Pound states 92.5lb = 46.25kg Well, the metric one is close enough... ;) Let's start a new Whatnots thread and call it : "What's your weight like in all the different units?"  Uytuun Fri, 16th Apr '04, 7:39pm I'm back from Italy and for some strange reason my mom has decided to be the ultimate *****...aah, fine by me, I'm used to it by now. I have some great sites that have good outlines for studying, helped me get an A on my semester exam. Dragonfly Sat, 17th Apr '04, 7:36pm I know a seven year old boy who's name is Malice. To me that seems like a very strange choice to name a person. I've met his mother but she's not a friend so I've never asked her the reason she chose that name. I wonder if his name will in some way mold his life. Takara Sat, 17th Apr '04, 9:12pm I don't know but I bet there are a bunch of girls out there called charity who are mean spirited. Depends how much an influence someone who'll name their kid malice has. chevalier Sat, 17th Apr '04, 9:56pm I consistently refuse to have anything to do with persons who make decisions affecting other people's lives on their own whim and in such a fashion as to suit their current fancy. But perhaps there's another meaning in some language? Faerus Stoneslammer Sat, 17th Apr '04, 10:48pm @Rednik - It's supposedly based on the period between the "fall of the Mongol Empire" to 1945; and the focus is supposed to be on the ENTIRE world. My prof, in all her wisdom, narrowed it down a tad. Unfortunately, she did her narrowing down in such a random way that the course is tough to summarize. I know most of the material though, so I'm not worried about studying for it. What I haven't done yet, is read some of the books that I'm gonna need to know for the exam...meh, still got a day-and-a-half. Oxymore Sun, 18th Apr '04, 12:36am Study morning... for a change. :book: On lunch break two friends and I went to picnick in the wilderness. Its great working a full 5 day week hours in one Friday night and 2 13 - 15 hour shifts on a weekend but today, I've been given the day off and I have to work Tuesday instead... boooo! I think I feel happy because my ex - girlfriend turned up for a wedding where I work and made me realise what an idiot I was to get engaged to her, not to mention far too young for that type of thing. She didn't look too good when she saw me - but surely she would have known that I would be there  Rednik Sun, 18th Apr '04, 6:41pm @ Faerus. You are so lucky you get to study world history, it's so much more exciting than the patriotic bore-a-rama we have in U.S. history... We finished our world history class last year and the next chance I have to take a world history course is when I'm a senior. Marbury vs. Madison! *head explodes* Faerus Stoneslammer Sun, 18th Apr '04, 7:22pm @Rednik, world history is only a decent course if you have a decent teacher/professor. Frankly, I think I would've enjoyed this course more if I hadn't had a professor at all and got to study whatever I'd wanted (from world history, of course). Hehe, I do agree that world history must be more interesting than American (or Canadian!) history... :p And I still haven't started studying for my exam tomorrow...I should probably do that...soon. Rednik Sun, 18th Apr '04, 7:25pm I always study at the last moment for everything. The way I see it, if you study early, you're bound to forget it, right? So do you just look over stuff or are you more of a tactile studier? *reattaches pieces of his head* Faerus Stoneslammer Sun, 18th Apr '04, 7:32pm :hmm: I'm not sure what a "tactile" studier is...so I can't answer that part of your question. But yeah, my usual method of studying is just going over the notes I've taken during the year. I'd study much better if I took the time to rewrite my notes, or at least write out the important parts, but I'm just too lazy. And in the case of history, I have to actually catch up on my reading (ie. read over a hundred pages out of two books [that's over a hundred in EACH book]) which is not gonna happen. Meh. Rednik Sun, 18th Apr '04, 7:38pm Yeah, tactile learning is when you rewrite (or re-take notes of) stuff. I have to, because my handwriting is so bad I can't read it. I think I heard somewhere that if you use your hands to study, you remember stuff a lot better. I can never catch up in reading, I just browse through the book and stop at passages that seem important. But I guess that's why english is my worst class, so, you never know. :D Splunge Sun, 18th Apr '04, 8:29pm When I was in university, I always re-wrote the notes. I found that, when reading a textbook, the facts did not necessarily sink in very well. Re-writing forced me to think about what I was writing, and therefore I was better able to absorb the information. Faerus Stoneslammer Sun, 18th Apr '04, 9:06pm I agree, rewriting notes has got to be one of the best ways to study (for me at least). The only problem is, I can never motivate myself to do it. Even if I'm doing poorly in a course, which is the case for the exam I have tomorrow as well as one that I wrote on Thursday, I can't bring myself to do it. Even reading my notes over is tough, 'cause they're written in such a haphazard way (which, in the case of my history class, is more the fault of the way my teacher lectures rather than my admittedly odd thought processes). Motivation, rather than technique, has always been my biggest obstacle for studying. Dragonfly Sun, 18th Apr '04, 10:40pm Possibly 'tactile' studying is for those people who learn better doing things rather than reading about them? This is just a guess. Sniper Sun, 18th Apr '04, 11:03pm Is it possible to have multiple trapped nerves in your back? Jaguar Mon, 19th Apr '04, 12:57am WooHoo! Anyways, the exam sucked. The multiple choice was based on random trivia from the semester, rather than the essential historical concepts and themes that the prof told us to study...and the essay question was a complete crock. Not only was the question itself pointlessly vague, but my answer didn't entire answer the question, at least, I don't think it did (and if I don't think so, I'm positive my prof won't think so). So yeah, the exam sucked and now I'm in a rather angry mood. I have a sudden overpowering urge to break something...or someone. But bleh. The exam's only worth 20% of my final grade, which isn't so bad; except that I've only got a 63 going into it...(possibly better, since on my last essay which was worth 15%, I got 78%!)... Vancouver should have come out of that series, but even so, I'm a Leaf fan through and through. At least we get to crush Ottawa at home now. I don't really care if we get swept next round by Philly, we just need to whoop Ottawa, because one of my friends is a die hard Sens fan, so I've been making fun of them all year long, how was I supposed to know we'd face them first round? GO LEAFS GO! Faerus: :flaming: Faraaz Tue, 20th Apr '04, 3:21pm Wooohooooooo!! I aced my chem test. AND my Biology test. YES!! However at the very top was an email dated Saturday 24/04. Now these seems rather strange to me. Anyone know how spam is now travelling by time? Sarevok• Tue, 20th Apr '04, 10:36pm omg monaco   Faerus Stoneslammer Tue, 20th Apr '04, 10:46pm Thanks Rednik and Malovae!! 2 years is definitely an anniversary worth celebrating...but that'll have to wait 'till tomorrow. I've got plans to celebrate the end of the year tomorrow night, so I figure I'll celebrate the start of my third year at SP (and the Sens' victory over the Leafs) then...two (err, three) birds with one stone and all :p |
