Okay, this is like my first time making a topic in this board, but given the severity of it all, I thought that putting it in AODA appropriate. You mods can move it if you'd like.
On to the subject at hand, I received an e-mail today from my Aunt, telling me about some maniac in Jacksonville, Florida who's been putting hypodermic needles under gas pump handles. While normally, you'd just get a little prick, these needles are filled with blood that's HIV positive.
So far, there have been 17 cases reported of people who have been stuck with the needles, and out of those 17 people, 8 of them immediately tested positive for HIV. However, due to the nature of the virus, the remaining 9 could easily test positive in a few years.
When I read the article, I was heartbroken. What kind of individual would do that to unsuspecting people? I hope that they catch the person who's doing it, be it male or female and fry them! In the eyes of the law, this is depraved indifference to the lives of the people that this virus will take. And with 8 counts of first degree murder, if Florida had a death penatly, this person would be surely deserving of it.
Anyways, I'd like to get you guys' opinion on the matter.
