I don't really have a favorite food, but I'll take anything chinese above pretty much anything else. Of course, that's American-Chinese food, not authentic stuff, as I've never had it.

Fajitas, hands down.

Follwed closely by a big juicy steak (medium-rare, cooked over a wood fire, no steak sauce necessary)

Most edible items. And some that aren't so edible. Add a little ketchup to shoe leather and it's not as bad as you'd think... ;)

Veal scaloppini. Have several ways I prepare it. If I could justify the expense, it would be on the table 3 nights a week.

I like meat, preferably spare-ribs or steak, with wine.

REAL Chicago deep-dish pizza, from a place called Giardano's. It's so good you have to sit down to eat it. Otherwise your knees buckle.

REAL Chicago deep-dish pizza, from a place called Giardano's. It's so good you have to sit down to eat it. Otherwise your knees buckle. Not sure I've had Giordano's deep-dish pizza, because they mostly have stuffed pizza which is a different entity. I've not been all that impressed with their pizza, which might explain why the one a few blocks from my house closed down. Not enough people went there, I know I never did.

@ Bigstick

Well, I'm moving there in January...any good places to recommend? The Giardano's I went to was in Evanston, so that may be a factor. From what I understand, this Giardano's gets plenty of traffic. Believe me - if there's a place that makes pizza BETTER than Giardano's, I'd love to try it! Maybe you can show me the turf when I get up there.
