I came
I saw
I clicked
I looked
I was sarcastic (badly).

I take it that this is your board (seeing as there seems to be only one member, named Darkness, at the moment).

Like the backroundy scheme.

And who says darkness has to be "vile," anyway? Can't it be "spiffy?" Or even "minty-fresh?"

Mmmm. Minty-fresh darkness. :p

Or you could just say "The Vile poorly lit place" ;)

Nice layout, Darkness...I wish you well.

Hmm - there are already heaps of forums with the same general theme as yours (such as this one) - so maybe it would be better if you just lumped all the games into one section and see whether it grows. Maybe cover something else that not many other well established forums do (more in the way of roleplaying then CRPGing?)

Otherwise - the look is funky, but I don't really see it going anywhere.

Edit: Also, allow guests to view the forums

Like Aik said, there's not much content-wise to set yours apart from others such as SP (other than a complete lack of members, that is :p ).

If you're looking to attract members to your forum, you might be better off posting links on crappy Boards rather than good ones like SP. ;)

Nice look, though.

The best way to attract members is to tell your friends who will tell their friends who will spread it further. Adding it to search engine's databases will also help, as well as putting the address onto your virtual visit cards, like e-mail, IM or even forum signatures (the latter used to get me over 100 visitors daily from a relatively small forum) and the like.

Classic advertising isn't the best way, I think. Though, granted, people will at least take a look. Regulars of quality boards aren't likely to switch over to a new board, however. Good luck, anyway.
