And not East-Timor.

I think Italy have won it 3 times, and I know they've lost in the final at least once, don't know about how many times they've been 3rd though

But I should be revising - last exam tomorrow, woohoo!

Maybe after that I'll sift through any still unanswered questions...

Franz Beckenbauer:doh:

Well, to my defense, this guy gets on my nerves. so I tend to ignore him.

No, Sweden haven't won the amount of world cups you have mentioned.Well, It's late (or early). They never won a WC.

Not East-Timor. Well, that beats me. Maybe Saar-Louis? Or 'Saarland' in german?

Right, Sweden have never won a WC. Their best positions are third place 1950 and 1994 and second place 1958.

And it is not Saar-Louis.

9. Which player have scored the most goals in one WC tournament?
I think that he must be Gerdt Muller in 1974.

Register
Thu, 10th Jun '04, 5:21pm
Wrong!! First of, it wasn't Müller. He holds the third place of most goals in a single WC tournament and it wasn't even '74 he won the Golden Boot award, it was in 1970.

13. It should be Ibrahimovic at around 82m SEK to Ajax. Cant think of anyone else.
14. Malmö FF, lost against Nottingham Forest in Hamburg.

That is my tiny little contribution, even if question 13 is incredibly stupid for anyone but a Swede.
