A lot of young girls who live a wild lifestyle, wear a lot of makeup, use drugs to stay thin, smoke etc seem to lose their beauty really fast. Stefanina Sat, 12th Jun '04, 5:38am @ Dragonfly: :D Thanks, that second link was a lot easier on the eyes... You know, listening to my coworkers talk about soap operas make me glad I don't watch them. Also, it's a good day when the boss buys everyone lunch. Jaguar Sat, 12th Jun '04, 6:53am Britney is my age or younger and she looks older than my mother. Remove make-up and all those "hot" ones look worse than next door girls or workmates. I've only had temporary brain malfunctions, but Britney hasn't been the cause of one. She'd better not open her mouth, really. Better still, not leave her house at all  SleepleSS Sat, 12th Jun '04, 5:09pm Britney is just ugly... And can't sing. Also she is a spoiled brat! Face it :p ejsmith Sat, 12th Jun '04, 6:38pm Well, I tried to enjoy it. I really made the effort. I looked the other way and just tried to get caught up in the act. I didn't compare it to others like it, and I tried not to over emotionalize the whole thing. But in the end, it's just not the same. It kind of had the same feel, but I think they tried to get everyone doing it instead of letting people adjust to it. That's what the first two times were like; you adjusted, not it. I think it was a good idea, but got caught up in the fads surrounding it and it lessened the entire experience. Also, Brittney is an attention-*****. That is the highest maintenance kind of chick in the world. High Maintenance == Poor Lover. Register Sat, 12th Jun '04, 7:02pm Wohoo!! 1-0 to Greece against Portugal in the first half. Gotta love it. :D EDIT: Now it's 2-0. SleepleSS Sat, 12th Jun '04, 9:42pm I saw Alyson Hannigan withoud make up, and still say she's pretty! Frostbite Sat, 12th Jun '04, 10:57pm Tired... going cycling tomorow, but its only 22 miles or something, so it shouldn't take too long. Faerus Stoneslammer Sat, 12th Jun '04, 11:23pm That's it. /me tosses in the towel. I've decided that I just won't ever work up the courage to actually ask her out. And regardless of the fact that whatever signals I may have gotten were very vague and tough to discern; I see no other way but to take them negatively. So essentially; I can't help but feel that she isn't interested in me at all. So basically; my mood will deteriorate for the next few days, but will return to normal (whatever that is) as soon as I actually forget about her (which *may* be tough...and not only 'cause she lives next door...). I just can't deal with that anymore. I'm tired of seeing her face every time I close my eyes. Seeing her smile. It has to go away. :p no more whines about my weakness in the RB anymore. Splunge Sat, 12th Jun '04, 11:56pm Oh, for Pete's sake! Club her over the head, drag her off to your cave by her hair, and take it from there. Alternatively, go for a walk (with her), and just talk. About anything. And see what happens. Honestly, you sound as wussy as I was when I was younger. :p And then, when I finally got over my wussiness, it all worked out OK. ;) chevalier Sun, 13th Jun '04, 2:50am @Faerus: To give up the whole thing would be a greater display of weakness than going there and talking to her, bumbling and stuttering while getting dumped with 75% chance. Really... @Dragonfly: Since when is Alyson Hannigan in the beauty area? :p I'm not complaining about high maintenance. Contrary, I go for ones that know their value (which does not basically mean price, even though some people don't get it) and don't come cheap. My comment had no deeper meaning than that models, singers and actresses don't typically look better than other girls if you remove make up and things. Even those that are supposed to be so "hot"... Oh well... Dice Sun, 13th Jun '04, 3:06am @Chev Actually I was using a couple of examples from the 'Soundest Lasses' thread. She was one of the fine ladies someone mentioned. I actually think that both women are beautiful. My point was that they also both probably wear as much makeup and create as much a false image of themselves as miss Britney. As well, I don't deny that some of my choices of fine 'lads' are equally fake. I'm pretty sure that Johnny Depp had more than a little makeup on for his role in Pirates of the Carribean :D :D . My husband of course is not included in that catagory. Aikanaro Sun, 13th Jun '04, 5:15am Hah! Here is what the Random Quotes say: Deathmage: I'm not gonna become like Taluntain! Slith: Deathmage is therefore mortal :D  :D Faerus Stoneslammer Sun, 13th Jun '04, 5:56am Is it ok to give up now ? Naturally, I didn't really give up; and we went on another walk today. :p At one point (not too sure how/why exactly) we started talking about crushes; and when she asked me who I liked in the area...well, I slowly (jokingly) put my arm around her shoulders and said "You". I then retracted my arm and said "and that's everyone." She didn't really say anything right away, and when she did talk again, she changed the subject (go figure!). Later on though, it kinda came up again; and she gave me the whole "I like you, but not in that way." thing. *sigh* Oh well...at least I know now. So I can get back to being myself; whoever or whatever that is. Meh. At least I won't get rejected when I'm back in my shell. Oohh...and tomorrow, I start my 7-day stretch at work! Yippee! (NOT!!!!)...guess it's good for me though; hopefully it'll provide some sort of distraction. Better than moping about at home... So I put in my two weeks at my old job. What I need now are ideas on how to go out with a bang. I work in a grocery store so keep in mind lots of people and an intercom system... Faraaz Sun, 13th Jun '04, 9:05am @Jaguar: LOL :shake: Um...question...is it a BoM tradition that Tal and ONLY Tal start the Random Babbling posts? Deathmage Sun, 13th Jun '04, 12:16pm I really should not be here, but I am still posting here. I feel ashamed of myself. SleepleSS Sun, 13th Jun '04, 1:45pm Last night I found out that liking a girl is hard when everybody around her loves her. You can't keep her for yourself that way :S. And still seeing her kissing an other guy is not that cool. I'm a bit confused right now... Uytuun Sun, 13th Jun '04, 1:50pm I feel for you Faerus, know how it feels, but I really think you should try to stay friends. in the beginning it might hurt, but wouldn't you rather have that wonderful person in your life, albeit not in the way you wanted, than cut her out of it altoghether? And who knows, when you get toghether without you feeling the pressure to make a move you might get along so well (since you say that you can go back to being yourself now, I take it that you've been rather stressed around her and that's not really attractive) that she'll start changing her mind. If not, you still have a special friendship to enjoy. Just don't try to forget her. When you're past the awkward stage you'll be glad you didn't. And yeah, working will take your mind off things. So go make some money. :) Malovae Sun, 13th Jun '04, 3:46pm Uytuun, you speak truth.... From personal experience, I found that I get on with ladies soooo much better as friends and then when I fall for them all of a sudden it is a) not so easy to talk to them and b) sorry, I like you as a friend but nothing else or o.k, I'd love to go out (it then ends in disaster as I usually say/do the wrong things). But getting back to the point... it is gut-wrenching when this type of thing happens Faerus but its amazing how fast you can start feeling better if you don't 'go back to your shell' and go out and do something with friends or even go out with some strangers on a date basis for some company. Anyhow, this is what helps me through those times you have found yourself in and they may not help you. You just have to ask yourself, what will cheer you up. :) chevalier Sun, 13th Jun '04, 4:23pm Don't burn your bridges. You never know what the future will bring, especially not with women involved. If she isn't genuinely repulsed, she can get to want you at any point. Especially when you actually start to date someone else. What you have to do now is to be strong and not come back to the subject. It's her turn now. Start dating other girls or at least meeting them on some basis. You don't have to do anything, just meet them, talk, dance, have good time, whatever. She will probably try to approach you a couple of times but shy away until at some point she decides to talk to you. I mean, unless she is physically turned off for some reason, though I doubt that. That you shouldn't come back to the subject doesn't mean you shouldn't flirt with her or even hit on her like you would normally do to an attractive girl. Your getting out of her reach will be quite a strong stimulus to act, really. That's how it works in this screwed-up world. SleepleSS Sun, 13th Jun '04, 4:36pm Chev is the doctor Love of SP! 8people Sun, 13th Jun '04, 4:38pm then how come he's never *been* in love :hmm: SleepleSS Sun, 13th Jun '04, 4:40pm Hmmm I don't know good question! I wanna Party but my money comes tomorow so I'm totally broke today :( Jaguar Sun, 13th Jun '04, 5:38pm Borrow from a friend or knock over a bank or two. Can't be that hard... :heh: Oaz Sun, 13th Jun '04, 5:44pm I hate computers. They suck. Dumb infernal contraptions. 8people Sun, 13th Jun '04, 5:56pm Computers are not dumb - contrary to popular belief. They can be trained and used in imaginative ways - for example. This computer here *pats monitor* has been trained by myself to hate my mother. Right on que it will crash, play random sounds, close her windows, maximise my own or turns it's monitor off. It's also been known to spit out her floppy disks whenever she tries to put them in. My laptop however is slightly less trained being about three years younger and not as experienced only manages to load up the screensaver as she approaches it. Thankfully however, it knows to behave if I actually *give* it to someone and is a lot friendlier. Thus proved computers are not dumb. Ofelix Sun, 13th Jun '04, 6:25pm Well tomorow is my english exam which is my first final exams. It should be realy easy. As I live in a french region, the government think we are attarded in english. As I live in a french region, the government think we are attarded ;) Does spelling count? chevalier Sun, 13th Jun '04, 7:44pm @8people: It's... complicated. Things aren't always what they seem. Lazy Bonzo Sun, 13th Jun '04, 8:06pm Um...question...is it a BoM tradition that Tal and ONLY Tal start the Random Babbling posts? Well the predeccesor to the Random Babbling Posts was started by Slappy and one of the Random Babbles was started by Blackthorne (prompting rampant claims that BTA was plotting to overthrow Tal  ). Ofelix Sun, 13th Jun '04, 8:12pm @Dragonfly Right... Did I made spelling mistake? Anyway they don't count spelling mistake, only syntax. Anyway I never said I was fluent in english either... SleepleSS Sun, 13th Jun '04, 10:00pm Question: Determine if Maxim's idea are different than Alice's idea Maxim: Well Alice my idea are different than yours. Wow dude that IS a though question men! Maybe Maxim is lying! You never get a chance to look in her head and see what she really thinks! Keep that in mind befoe you takr the exame! Register Sun, 13th Jun '04, 10:11pm Um...question...is it a BoM tradition that Tal and ONLY Tal start the Random Babbling posts?Well, as mentioned before, Slappy and BTA have started them and once Beren did it as well, and that is when he was a fresh moderator, so he were really ambitios back in the old days. :D ejsmith Mon, 14th Jun '04, 1:03am Our Warriors have engaged the enemy.Noooooo. Dice Mon, 14th Jun '04, 1:44am Ofelix, I was just teasing :D , actually your english is way better than my Spanish although I can get by in it. Both my grammer and spelling are pretty rough though. Laiwethel Mon, 14th Jun '04, 2:01am Ouch, ouch and more ouch. Just got back from a girls weekend at a friend's cottage and I am very sunburnt. Sometimes I hate being so fair-skinned. Beren Mon, 14th Jun '04, 2:14am Well, as mentioned before, Slappy and BTA have started them and once Beren did it as well, and that is when he was a fresh moderator, so he were really ambitios back in the old days. All that needs to be said here is that the previous Random Babbling thread had ballooned to well past the desired 500 limit. I pretty much had to close it and start a new one. You could say that I was duty-bound in what I did. :) fade Mon, 14th Jun '04, 2:22am Excuses, excuses ;) Dice Mon, 14th Jun '04, 4:47am I hear that vinigar is good for that type of ailment Laiwethel. Unfortunatly you just might end up smelling like a salad or a dill-pickle. You could also try taking a cool bath with baking soda in it. Might take away a little of the pain. Faerus Stoneslammer Mon, 14th Jun '04, 4:53am  When did I say I was gonna (try to) cut her out of my life? :p Not a chance! And not just because she's my neighbour... We actually spend more time together now than we did before...which doesn't say much; 'cause I only used to see her once every couple days. I actually don't think that I was ever really "stressed" around her. Maybe a tad weirder than usual; but nothing that can't be explained away by a year away at uni ( :p ). Heh; by "going back to being myself", I just meant that I'll hopefully be a little less depressed... And as much as I'd like to go out with my friends, I can't. None of my other friends live less than a 1/2 hour drive away...and I don't drive/have a car. *She* is the only friend I actually go out and do stuff with. So that's cool. And by "going back to my shell"...I mean just being who I used to be before I realized I had feelings for her. :p so chev's saying that to get her to like me (in *that* way), I have to start seeing someone else? :shake: This world really is messed up. Aie...today sucked though; I had her face plastered across my thoughts all morning, and I could hear her words ("I like you, but not in the way you like me") echoing in my head. Managed to forget about her for like 2 hrs in the evening; then she came roaring back on some stray thought...*sigh* And bleh! I get to get up at 4am for the next 2 days; but only if I wanna get to work on time (and not lose my job :p ) Whoa...my RB posts seem to be getting longer and longer... :p Laiwethel Mon, 14th Jun '04, 5:08am Dragonfly, Thanks for the advice. I actually just had a cool bath and slathered some aloe vera gel on the burned patches of skin, although the baking soda and cool bath idea sounds good. I'm not looking forward to bed tonight. It is generally done when one wishes someone to respond to the topic. Harbourboy Tue, 15th Jun '04, 10:12pm Who put the 'bomp' in the 'bomp de bomp de bomp'? Saw an albino peacock which was really nice. It was to a little childrens theme park :o all of the people in my year who do Business Studies. They are all really loud but we had to go around in groups. So on the coach I just sat and read my book because I don't like being around people too long. Also hurt my eyes because the sun was too bright :xx: coudn't go on most of the rides, mainly because I didn't want to. So all in all... could have been better... would rather have been doing something useful, perhaps at home :( Taluntain Tue, 15th Jun '04, 11:28pm While bumping is pretty ubiqutous (and annoying) on most boards, it's nearly unheard of at SP. Goes along with our policy of everyone posting having to post something worth posting. So when a thread does get brought back on top of the list, the person who brought it up usually did so with an on-topic reply. Hence, no replies with just *bump* in them. Dice Thu, 17th Jun '04, 8:14am Oh boy...guess I'll have to ask her out soon; before she stops liking me I wouldn't worry about that so much Faerus. Why don't you just flirt with her for a little bit and see where that goes? Aikanaro Thu, 17th Jun '04, 8:18am The greatest thing happened yesterday. I was with my sister counting out what little amount of money we had in order to buy food (2 bucks). Now, medium sized hot chips are $2, and there was no way I was sharing. Jaguar Thu, 17th Jun '04, 9:16am Dear Diary: Yesterday, I was the wild man that I am known to be. First, I corrupted the nuns in the convent across the street by dancing in front of my window in my birthday suit. Later, after convincing my boss why she should keep my on as her 'special' assistant, I skipped off for the rest of the day to teach my nude bungee jumping lessons. It was on the dance floor that night that I really was in my element. I had all the girls in the club dancing around me in a circle, all of them trying to convince me to go home with them. I figured I shouldn't deprive ladies of the chance to go home with me, so I called five cabs and took them all home. Well diary, it is noon, so I had better be getting off to work now. But I just had to write down all of this so I know how lucky I am to be me, Chevalier. Faragon Thu, 17th Jun '04, 11:05am Glee, mad one test-exam and scored pretty decently on it. As a rule, someone always is. Perhaps a couple persons (after all, people can have crushes on multiple people at the same time as well). The problem is knowing who it is. It's difficult to learn that if you're preoccupied with a crush on someone else, though. It's difficult to tell anyway. I can always tell if a girl is being immediately attracted to me, but can't tell if she's having something longer in time, like a crush. I often learn such things too late. It sometimes feels bad to know that probably someone's feeling the same regarding you as you're feeling regarding the person for whom you have some unreturned feelings. For a change, it would be good some day to have a crush on someone who's having a crush on you instead of having crush on someone uninterested and being uninterested in someone who's having a crush on you. And with my memory that is bound to happen. SleepleSS Sat, 19th Jun '04, 11:52am Oh yeah... Staying at grandmothers... That sounds like the source of nightmares! I had a pretty weird dream tonight, about some people I know. Unfortunately, there's quite a lot of such guys. Oh well, but maybe it's for the better. After all, you need losers to distinguish yourself as a non-loser, don't you? :D I guess it comes down to customs and habits. For instance, you may have friends you kiss on the lips instead of the cheek even if they aren't single and friends whom you don't kiss even on the cheek even though they are single. Oh well, just remember who belongs where and it'll be fine ;) @Faerus: Heheh, don't I know that... Yeah, it ends like that when people can't decided. And always when you're about to get along with someone, some old flame or an ex appears like deus ex machina and messes everything up. In theory, I'd stick to the person who can make up her mind if I were you. I would try and learn the reasons why she had first said she didn't like me that way and in a short time said something more or less opposite to that. I would also try and learn if the other girl is only interested as if impressed by an attractive guy or if it's more personal. Anyway, life proves that if you can't choose between two persons you had better go for a third or none at all. Cheer up. At least you don't owe anything to anyone and don't have your hands tied ;) Sarevok• Sat, 19th Jun '04, 5:21pm ohhh very fast yes I am almost there!!! But after the first 1 or 2 times, you'll be ok, son ;) . SleepleSS Sat, 19th Jun '04, 10:02pm If you try weed at a younger age there is a change you don't use it anymore when your like 20. Because it's said and done. Myself I stopped using weed after a teribble laugh kick. I was with one of my closest friends and he really got annoyed at that time :D . About kissing cheeks: Yes I have my categories :p ejsmith Sat, 19th Jun '04, 10:13pm BOO WILL HAVE CLEAN WOOD SHAVINGS, YOU EVIL BASTARDS!!! Barmy Army Sat, 19th Jun '04, 10:18pm   ejsmith Sat, 19th Jun '04, 10:32pm One more. The just and unjust alike will all fear the overwhelming power of EDIWIN ODESSEIRON and his NETHER SCROLL!! <evil laugh> SleepleSS Sat, 19th Jun '04, 11:18pm FinishT! I can go to the elves tomorow! Yeah chevalier Sat, 19th Jun '04, 11:56pm You're 16 => You're too young to marry => you're too young for sex. That would be it :p Weed is out of fashion and alcohol loses all charm once you're legal age, so who cares... But yeah, I had lots of fun drinking when I was 15-18 (18 here, not 21). :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: Barmy Army Sun, 20th Jun '04, 12:48am Your 18 Chev? Your taking the piss surely Judging by your manner I would have thought maybe a 60 year old priest. Sort it out and enjoy yourself eh sonny jim? ;) Smoke spliffs, get any shags you can, drink more beer than your body can handle and be as chilled out as possible. These rules will never lead you wrong mate ;) . Sarevok• Sun, 20th Jun '04, 12:59am  Chev, get real!! Ofelix, go and have some fun. Dark Haired Beauty Sun, 20th Jun '04, 3:00am Too much weed leads to problems with concentration and memory. It also...ummmm...lost my train of thought what was I saying... Dice Sun, 20th Jun '04, 3:50am Yah, I can say that my short term memory has probably improved over the last year. I still sometimes have problems concentrating. Yesterday I discovered the joy of styrofoam!. I didn't realize how easy it is to carve and how easily I can get it for free. Suddenly my brain is just bristling with ideas. Takara Sun, 20th Jun '04, 7:47am Who are all you strange people? and why am I posting here? AAAAAAAIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEE!  I'll have to stop the green stuff. I dont know what's real anymore. [ June 20, 2004, 13:24: Message edited by: Takara ] 8people Sun, 20th Jun '04, 12:53pm hmm... I'm going to take rather a lot to my grandmothers... hope it isn't too much... Laptop. Books. Warhammer to paint. Might take Kuda with me as well, I don't like leaving my swords on their own. chevalier Sun, 20th Jun '04, 2:07pm @Dark Haired Beauty: The key to solving your problems is coffee. Essentially, whatever hurts you, coffee is good for it. Owing to the nature of your nick, I feel an unexplained current need to point out that we all know who makes the best coffee in the universe ;) Malovae Sun, 20th Jun '04, 4:23pm 97 more members and we have 7000 registered :D a cause for pre-celebration methinks :D  :1eye:  Ofelix Sun, 20th Jun '04, 4:53pm Of course I shall always seek fun wherever it is! I think I understand what you meant by alchool loose it's fun once your legal age, well I think :D Anyway It's 2 years and 2 months of fun to go with beer it seem. Anyway my girlfriend she isn't baptized (because she isn't catholic) How could I possibly marry her? Vodka is strong! Vodka is 40% Vodka make my mouths feel dizzy! Vodka is my friend Dice Sun, 20th Jun '04, 8:05pm we all know who makes the best coffee in the universe - yah, isn't it that latino guy on the donkey? Malovae, lots of new members but how many of them do you actually think we'll hear from on a regular basis? Laiwethel Sun, 20th Jun '04, 8:48pm I have written all of 556 words for a 1500 word essay that is due tomorrow at 6:30 pm. I am definately going crazy right now. Okay, so I know that Gaius (Caligula) was more than a little nuts, but needing to prove it is not comming to me right now. :coffee: Harbourboy Sun, 20th Jun '04, 10:04pm You won't hear from very many of those new members on a regular basis. As has been discussed before, only a small percentage of our 6900 members have posted more than a dozen times (20.6% for those who are interested). Sarevok• Sun, 20th Jun '04, 10:07pm That is probably a good thing ejsmith Mon, 21st Jun '04, 1:31am Let's say you're out on the soccer-field (Football, for you Euros). And one of the chicks on the opposing team cries, "NO MERCY FOR THOSE WHO OPPOSE US!" Her arms shaking and her face quivering, as she directs it in your general direction with an outstreched arm and forefinger. How would this make you feel? chevalier Mon, 21st Jun '04, 2:07am @Ofelix: If you're Catholic it's possible but it requires dispensation by your local bishop ordinary. Harbourboy Mon, 21st Jun '04, 3:16am Cool - soon the days will start getting longer again! It'll be summer again before we know it! Deathmage Mon, 21st Jun '04, 4:08am At school. And my head hurts like hell. There's like two lines that goes from my eyes, to my head, to my neck. And the two lines are hurting the hell out of me. I need sleep. Will sleep when I get home. Only an hour left... chevalier Mon, 21st Jun '04, 4:26am Time to go to bed and get some sleep or I'm going to start getting brain damage. For various reasons I may not be around. I should still reply messages but with some substantial delay. Faerus Stoneslammer Mon, 21st Jun '04, 6:00am ROTFLMAO!!!!! An orangutan tearing a car apart has GOT to be the funniest thing I've seen in a long time! :D  Things are definitely looking up. Looks like it's gonna be girl #1 for Faerus. (for those who can't/don't care to remember; she's the one I like more than anyone else alive...) I think it might take a few more walks/talks for it to be "official". But I'm pretty sure the "drama" is over. I *am* extremely curious though why she appears to have changed her mind from "just friends" to...umm, well...what appears to be "more than just friends" (hmm...of course; I *could* be misinterpreting what's going on...but I'm fairly certain I'm not...or rather: I *hope* I'm not). And I also wonder if she'll change her mind back to "just friends" anytime soon... PS- "You make me feel safe" is definitely one of the best things a girl could ever say to a guy. Laiwethel Mon, 21st Jun '04, 6:01am 500 more words on this essay, and I'm done. I can't wait. Time for a light drink, then bed for a few hours before getting up to finish the essay, and prepare a seminar presentation. All before 6:30 pm. Am I crazed or what? Edit: Faerus, I'm glad to hear that things are working out! Faerus Stoneslammer Mon, 21st Jun '04, 6:04am You can do it Laiw! If *I* can write 2000 words in a couple hours; I'm sure you can get all that done in time. With time to spare for a nap...or some more drinks... ;) Laiwethel Mon, 21st Jun '04, 6:10am At this stage, I think sleep is more important. I can manage 500 words in a couple of hours (I hope!), and then I can just finish the reading that I need to do for the seminar on Nero. Silly Roman history. Why do I study it again? Aikanaro Mon, 21st Jun '04, 11:20am Last week of school, then two weeks holiday! SleepleSS Mon, 21st Jun '04, 1:52pm coffee kept mr going for 22 years now, it still is wonderfull stuff! I did see elves yesterday but ther was one not that gothic goth girl with a high hat (Our how do you call it?) That took up my focus. To bad I couldn't make a picture, our found the nerves to talk to her :S. Anyway tomorow there will be another test at school better start learning now! (And slay Orcs!) Faragon Mon, 21st Jun '04, 5:39pm BooholyYAH! Today's exam was a total nutjob, with them deciding not to question the important stuff, like neuro-anatomy and high profile syndroms, but instead deciding to milk out one silly syndrom that was mentioned once in a college for about ... 10 seconds. I had never heard of it. Still, I managed the other questions, and even scored a 67 out of 80 correct on my multiple choice! :D If I somehow still have to retake the exam, I'll go kill someone  Wednesday's exam is looking not so on the bright side, but I'll worry about that tomorrow. The rest of today is for chillin' Uytuun Mon, 21st Jun '04, 7:01pm Dutch exam tomorrow, but I can't be bothered to do much about it. *sigh* love Icingdeath45 Tue, 22nd Jun '04, 2:23am I just had the best day ever with my girlfriend :) chevalier Tue, 22nd Jun '04, 2:33am @Faerus: "You make me feel safe" is one of the best things to hear, but one of the things that hurt you the most when it doesn't work out. Especially if the same girl ends up with some insensible brute that treats her like his chambermaid or a piece of furniture. Perhaps she's changed her mind, perhaps she hasn't and she thinks for both of you to get back to the point immediately before you told her you liked her that way (and it's not possible). Who knows. Or maybe she's slowly getting used to you ;) Oh well, remember you didn't get rejected! She only said a couple of things but nothing close to definite. @Laiwethel: Because historiam nescire semper puer esse as Cicero would testify :D Malovae Tue, 22nd Jun '04, 2:49am ohhhhhh, i'm drunk again! theres a suprise..... were through :D bring it on Portugal :) Ofelix Tue, 22nd Jun '04, 2:50am If you're Catholic it's possible but it requires dispensation by your local bishop ordinary. Who said I want to get married anyway? Tommorow last exams. the last! finaly! After this the summer vacation. Hurray! Harbourboy Tue, 22nd Jun '04, 3:44am It's Tuesday. Only three more days until the weekend. Wow, that thunder was really loud. Laiwethel Tue, 22nd Jun '04, 4:04am And the essay is done! The seminar presentation is done! All that's left for this course is the exam on Weds, and the prof already gave us the exam questions. I can't wait. @chev :p I think that you might want to alter that to puella, considering that I am *definately* not a puer. Meh...I'm not up on my Cicero though. You'd think that I would be after 6 years of latin. Aldazar Tue, 22nd Jun '04, 5:49am I think I'm just going to ignore the outside world for a while and hope it goes away. Harbourboy Tue, 22nd Jun '04, 6:40am What sort of exam is it if you already know the questions beforehand?! What a swizz! Laiwethel Tue, 22nd Jun '04, 7:25am In my opinion, it's the best kind. The prof gave us four options for the exam: to write it in the 3 hour time period without any knowledge of what is on it beforehand, a take home exam, to get the questions in advance but no notes allowed, or to get the questions in advance, and notes allowed. The final option was the class consensus. We're covering a year's worth of material in an 8 week course. It'd be extremely difficult to study everything from early Roman Republic (200 BCE) to Nero (68 CE) for a 3 hour exam. So that final choice made the most sense to everyone (all 12 of us) in the class. This has to be by far the best prof at this university. :rolling: I love summer courses! :hippy: Arabwel Tue, 22nd Jun '04, 7:56am Got back alive, didnt miss a single flight, tattoo is doing fine and even if I had to spent the night at the airport, it wasnt my fault! :p Miss ya, guys. Will log in and come to chat in a few hours, when I get to the library. *hugs* 8people Tue, 22nd Jun '04, 9:13am wow - my grandma brought me to school while there was sunlight! Last time she bought me to school we were a bit early... we watched the cleaners and teachers arrive... then waited about an hour until the first normal pupil arrived then I went in. So yay. Unearlyearlyness! SleepleSS Tue, 22nd Jun '04, 10:06am Well I have my first re-test (Our how do you call it if you got a second chance to do a test?) today! I hope I do it right this time :p . I think I go to school early to get some coffee before I start. And then try to focus on the test and not on all the other complicated sections of life! chevalier Tue, 22nd Jun '04, 2:43pm I think that you might want to alter that to puella, considering that I am *definately* not a puer. You should definitely file a complaint with Cicero :p Laiwethel Tue, 22nd Jun '04, 4:32pm You should definitely file a complaint with Cicero :p If I had a time machine, I probably would. chevalier Tue, 22nd Jun '04, 7:10pm If I had a time machine, I probably would./me smiles cheesily :p :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: Coffee and cinnamon cakes. Exam tomorrow. Life sucks. Hope I'll pass. Holidays after that. A good thing, as people are getting interested in my translations, tutoring and the like. Perhaps a website to make as well. Money doesn't make you happy... if you don't have it :D  SleepleSS Tue, 22nd Jun '04, 9:00pm Oh my god, I f'd up right now I told A girl I liked her then I said I had to much wine and my conclusion was that I was to honest :S.
