hey guys, i screwed up. In my outline for my research paper (which my damn teacher kept having me revise) I put down that the use of sexual content in advertising (any kind) appeals to the id portion of the psyche (Freud). Well, as far as I know this is true and my teacher challenged me to back this up with documented sources and I agreed. Thing is, the papers due on monday and I don't have diddly-squat. So.. I was wondering if any of you guys knew of any websites/online free journals and such that could help me out? Help would be much appreciated. Thanx.

I dont know any but I think you could easily forge one by making a website yourself or haveing someone to make it for you. Just "lend" another text with related content and then insert statements that back your research up.

i guess, but it seems like too much work (for a lazy computer illeterate like me). I was thinking more along the lines of actually finding some websites, i could use more substance for this flat (unstarted) paper.

You can just go to a library (better to a university library), where you can have access to printed and online journals as well as to bibliographic databases.

I did a Google search of 'freud id advertising sex', and got 4,850 results. Chances are one of those would be of use. (no, I didn't go through them all for you. :p )

Try this (http://www.imt.co.il/freudjung.htm) site. It looks promising at least as a basis for your argument.
