I'm so gonna kill my friend tommorow. -_- On the other hand, he's gonna give me lotsa anime (yay more Bleach and Naruto and even Ranma 1/2!). Hmm I guess I can let him off the hook this time. ^^ Daie d'Malkin Sat, 14th Apr '07, 3:57am I am ill. I have become unwell. I am not happy with these developments, but luckily, I am already on antibiotics for my toe, so maybe this will shake soon. In other news, I am feeling terrible. ChickenIsGood Sat, 14th Apr '07, 3:58am I don't think RHCP could ever leave me in that state of mind. Stefanina Sun, 15th Apr '07, 7:25am I went to my college's Spring Art Festival today, and acquired a canvas bag and a sunburn. The burn annoyed me, since I had put sunscreen on, and the sunscreen has not expired. The festival is still not back up the number of artists it used to have, the weather all over the country has made it difficult for the far travelers to make it here. For a community college festival, this one is huge. It's been running for 38 years now, and attracts hundreds of different artists and performers. The city closes off several blocks of street for it. Daie d'Malkin Sun, 15th Apr '07, 9:03am Have finished with Firefly and Serenity, and have now moved on to Battlestar Galactica. In other news, I'm no longer sick! The drugs worked! I used to have a weird dream of a car tyre, the background changed seasons (sunny, leaves, snow, less snow), it speeded up fast, then I woke up and I threw up (happened three times :( ), which wasn't nice. Dave the Magic Turtle Sun, 15th Apr '07, 11:54am I used to have a recurring dream....a piece of pipe (like drain pipe) would move towards me and away REALLY fast constantly and the background would shift colours randomly and quickly, needless to say I always woke up disorientated and confused...it still happens occassionally... Yar! kuemper Mon, 16th Apr '07, 1:05am I felt cold when I woke up this morning, so I took my tempurature with our digital thermometer. After the designated time, I read it: 97.2F. Okay, that's a bit cooler than I am normally (97.6F), so I decided to take it again later in the day. About 2ish, I took another temp reading: 96.8F. I dressed warmer and waited until 8.30: 96.2F. No one said I would be getting colder as I got older! I've lost a degree and a half! No, I hadn't drunk anything cold which might affect the thermometer! Dice Mon, 16th Apr '07, 6:08am At least you have the option for a nap in the afternoon. Sometimes I really really miss sleep. Daie d'Malkin Mon, 16th Apr '07, 8:38am *Waves more noticeably* Hello? Enagonios Mon, 16th Apr '07, 4:13pm just discovered pandora.com, awesome stuff. thank god for this, was running out of music to listen to Bahir the Red Mon, 16th Apr '07, 4:16pm Yeah, I've used pandora.com for a good while, it's great. Really helps you find new people that makes the kind of music you like. Ofelix Mon, 16th Apr '07, 4:31pm Pandora is really great, though not perfect. When searching for a specific song Pandora search for «musical similarities» with other group and therefore you can end up with a completely different result then you intented. An exemple; about a month ago, I was searching on Pandora, the song «Dust in the wind» by Kansas, Pandora gave me a multitude of song that had the so-called «musical similarites» or simply remixes or other song by the same name, actually never did I find «Dust in the Wind» by Kansas, which was what I wanted in the first place. When using Pandora you must keep in mind it rarely give you a specific song you want. Nonetheless it is a great tool for discovering new music. Since Pandora, so far, is limited to the United States by requiring to put a valid US Zip Code here's a tips. Using google or 411.com, search for a US public institution (like an hospital) and give to Pandora the Zip Code. That's what I did, I gave the Zip Code of some NYC's hospital :p Edit: Also, if you don't want to search for a Zip Code, a friend of mine told me that in the English's Wikipedia article on «Zip Code» you can find exemples, and they work in Pandora  . Dinsdale Mon, 16th Apr '07, 4:33pm Monday already? That just doesn't seem right. NOOOOOOOOO! :aaa: Dice Mon, 16th Apr '07, 5:58pm Well don't worry Dinsdale - after monday comes tuesday. Dice Tue, 17th Apr '07, 5:57am I remember playing those text adventures when they were first out. I even bought a book on how to do it and started making my own. I know, I've done it a week ago. A lot of the backstory and details are not explained in the game, but they are in the manual... so it's well worth the read while you're still playing the game because many things are made much more clear. Anyway, I've made Uri buy WC3 a few days ago, and now you too?
