Considering the name of the game, and that Bioware is putting alot of work into SP, it seems like the story line will be preaty interesting.

Altho BioWare hasn't released much Info on the story, how about a little speculating? Obviously it will probably have something to do with Dragons, who knows, maybe it will be somewhat like the D&D movie? Where a mage or a cult is trying to control the power of Dragons (or the Dragons themselves). Could also be about a human who knows nothing of his past, only comming to realise he has the blood of dragons, maybe part of some greater plan.

Well hopefully it will have nothing in line with that abomination of a movie. Imagine such a staff in a game like Baldur's Gate II...... :eek:

I think if Bioware can come up with a great story such as they did when making baldur's gate, which was a purchased licence, they should be able to come up with a better story in their entirely unique world.

Unfortunately there's little known about the game so far so speculation is pretty moot IMO.

I speculate that it could be about there being an awakening of dragons, i.e. they were dead for long time and it's your job to resurect them (probably to save the world).
I really doubt it'll be that though.

Dragon Age is supposed to be the name of an era rather than an indicator of dragons walking around the game... but hey, names of eras don't come out of nowhere. There must be some connection with the game world, so perhaps we're going to see dragons.

I think it'll be something like: "In an epic age where dragons shape the fate of the world, how can <Character> fulfill/deny his/her destiny and (obviously) save the world/something important from certain destruction."

I think it is a screensaver where you can watch the grey beard of an old red grow to the bottom of the screen.
