Well, not surprising as a beta is a way to freely play a more than recent game. Who would say no to that except if they didn't like the genre?

People who don't have time or inclination to play half-finished buggy games?

You would be surprised as to what people are ready to do at the words "for free" ;)

EDIT: 500th, yay for me!

I voted no. There's no way I've got time to play a half-finished game. I don't even play games when they first come out. I'd rather wait until the first patch comes out.

I'm still only about 5% of the way through BGII so I'm in no position to start playing games that haven't even come out yet.

It would be at least 2006 before Dragonshard would make it the top of my list of games to play.

I voted no, partly because I "don't have time or inclination to play half-finished buggy games", and partly because, as a beta tester, your focus is not on enjoying the game (which is why I play them in the first place), but rather on looking for bugs and gliches.
