I found the campsite in the Highcliff Castle Ruins area. No William anywhere. already rescued the kids from the wolves. I have the lizardman in my party.I destroyed the Lizardman Chief and shaman in the Swamp Caves.Everytime I go talk to the Elder in Highcliff he asks if I found William yet and the story won't advance because I can't find him. Someone help. I've looked everywhere for him and can't go to Neverwinter because I can't find him. :confused: :confused: :confused:

William. Is that the guy who wandered off supposedly looking for stone? His wife's looking for him? He's out on the main map somewhere. On your way up to where Slaan was found if you look out over the lake, he's camping down by the shore.

Oh, wait, I just noticed you said you found the campsite. He's supposed to be standing there at the campsite... Did you talk to his wife? Maybe you need to talk to her first... Not sure.

You have to talk to his wife before he appears at the campsite. I was confused with this as well until I stumbled upon his wife after doing the main quest for the area and heading back over there.
