Trying to get to Bonenashers camp -- got the explosive balls -- threw about 5 of them -- and now getting a message that says I can't use that item -- they didn't even make a dent in the rocks either. Anyone else experience this??

Get the crate of globes (not the individual globes you can use), then when you walk up to the blockage, a cut scene will play showing you placing the crate and blowig up the blockage.

I almost did the same thing, almost. When I first read that the globes were unstable, I figured they could be dangerous to hang onto. Then I read the description of the item, and it became clear that I was meant to take them.
